Low air flow from dash vents - FIXED! - Easy

  • I've got low air flow coming from my vehicle's dash vents even though the fan is on high. In this video I locate the cause of low or weak air flow from the vents. I have the fan turned on high, but little to no air is coming out of the vents. Thankfully it was an easy fix. The cabin air filters were clogged, thus not allowing air to pass through effectively.

They could've made them so much easier to clean out and get inside of. I remember working on our up armoreds in the military and they were so simple. lots of straight lines, big holes to reach into or suck out. Imagine if they designed these vehicles for simplicity. They'd last forever. Which is of course why they don't.

Could be the fan speed regulator, or perhaps the actuators for the ducting are not working properly or maybe there’s a blockage from a critter... hard to say

GM didn’t put an air filter in the 2500 trucks. There are CZcams videos showing how to add one.
