"you grow autocorrect"
this is a reupload of a compilation i made over a year ago; wanted to move it from my main channel to this channel. :)
main channel: / neonjack
animation channel: / @jackimationsyt
/ neonjackk
/ neonjackyt
/ neonjack
disclaimer: i don’t own the clips in this video, just put them together for fun. :)
this is a reupload of a compilation i made over a year ago; wanted to move it from my main channel to this channel. i also have a channel i'm hoping to upload mark, ethan, and unus annus related animations to in the future if that's something you're interested in! :D czcams.com/channels/-5QND_PC9BSPDfGmsgRmtA.html
DISCLAIMER: ethan said in his youtube video on december fifth and his twitter space on december eleventh that UA compilations were fine, as long as no one is reuploading the full videos. he also specifically watched some of my edits in his video and said they were totally okay to keep up! :)
mark and ethan also said on their final livestream that it’s okay to leave fan edits/clips/compilations/art etc up! as long as it’s not a direct reupload or archive of the UA channel, they said it’s fine, and it’s up to each individual whether they want to remove everything that’s out of context or leave it up.
thanks for watching!
That entire episode was a soul searching event for Mark, about doing this (uninsured) with Ethan.
I mean, if even one peanut had rolled onto the scene, Ethan would have exploded!
Jesus Christ how masochistic can they b
Mark: actually looks like a carpenter man
Ethan: wearing an outfit I’m 90% I’ve seen my five year old cousin wear before 😂
Mark did once work as a carpenter, building decking and the like i think he said.
to be fair he actually was a carpenter... why do I know this, I'm not even a markiplier stan I just watch one or two videos every so often
Mark: * came ready to work *
Ethan: * came ready to host Tool Time with Tim Allen *
Mark looks like a model carpenter Ethan looks more realistic
As a Fellow Carpenter, this hurts me on a different level to watch 😂
I can absolutely relate to Mark 😂
The title should’ve been “ mark being a concerned dad for 3 minutes straight”
Mark: "Are you building it, son?"
Ethan: *Just makes EFF noises and struggling*
well, one and a half minute but you've got the spirit
@@Scrofar Mark's actually experiencing concern at 2× the normal rate, so what would appear to be 1.5 minutes for us would be 3 minutes of concern for him
I was literally thinking that Mark just seems so much like a dad in this clip, and then I see this comment
Oh i hate how much i relate to Ethan on a daily basis and understand y he does everything he does
Adhd shit be tough
saaame
SAME I SWEAR-
Same
Same though, adhd makes things hard fr
Mark: okay, i trust you *hands over the saw*
literally a second later: instant regret
I think it's because he sawed his hand a bit when he took it.
@@matthewdoraby3919 I thought it was because Ethan moved the wood so he would saw in between the two supports, which would mean it would end up falling if he sawed through it.
You can see him adjust it at 0:36 before Mark nods.
when handing off a blade, you're supposed to confirm that the other person's received it before letting it go(so you don't drop a blade on someone) Ethan yanked it out of his hand ignoring common blade safety, someone once-neglected knife safety around me, they ended up lightly stabbing me(deep enough to draw blood not deep enough to merit concern aside from being stabbed)
“you grow autocorrect” that shit got me good😭
mark just looked so bewildered by ethan's near-instant response there it killed me fr 💀
You *what*
I didnt get it
I'm usually pretty good and understanding what he's trying to say but I have no idea what he meant
That part made me laugh.
This carpentry video was actually one of my top three favourite Unus Annus videos😁 Mark is such a dad and then just switches on a dime to an executioner with the paintball gun lol
I totally forgot about that until now! Mark using the measuring tape behind Ethan, I was so baffled until the penny dropped for me, noooo he wouldn't do it now? Then "Ethan. Get on your knees."
Ethan was SO willing to double tap Mark, but cowered like a small helpless animal when his dues were flying back at him.
Ah, good times.
Soooo still a dad. Lol we're concerned and must nurture our sons... but occasionally... we must shoot them with nerf/paintball/nonlethal guns.
Unus what?
what Unus Annus?
I never heard of an Unus Annus before.
@@moniontheonion6234 In November of 2019 Mark (Markiplier) and Ethan (Crankgameplays) made a channel, the theme was "Memento Mori" or "Remember Death" (Unus Annus means "One Year"). The whole plan was to make a channel where they uploaded things every day then after one year completely delete the channel and all of the videos. They asked that no one save the videos as the whole point was that it was temporary, however, people were allowed to make compilations of clips and stuff just not save whole videos. This is a video of clips from Unus Annus and you can find a lot more compilations if you want to see more but you (hopefully, at least,) won't find any full videos. It was fun to be a part of, but very sad when it ended.
Mark: "Okay, I trust you--"
Eef: *Takes it out of Mark's hand while the serrated side was facing Mark's palm while barely looking*
Mark: O. O
I mean.. Holding it like that is honestly on Mark.
At least they were both wearing gloves
Literally read this AS the scene was playing
That wasn’t why Mark made that face. Ethan had the board positioned wrong on the stand. Had he tried to saw it where he had it, it would have broke in half during his sawing and he would have possibly fallen forward and potentially onto the saw.
That’s why Mark had that face until Ethan slid the board down.
Close but Mark wasn't holding it serrated side in, the O cut into the saw is always at the top of the saw's end away from the serrated edge, this helps a few things but its a good indicator.
Mark looks like he's in so much physical discomfort 💀
well I'd be too if I was standing next to someone who just doesn't know or can't use a hand saw
@@timidb true, true.
@@katarinahamilton5306 i remember when I was in school many just sat around doing nothing in the carpentry class
and this one girl had to at least start a project
so she began sawing,
the saw got stuck, she got angry and pushed the saw as hard as she could and me and me friend just took cover behind the table knowing it would snap any minute
and tried to calm her down so she wouldn't kill herself with shrapnel from the snapping saw blade
long story short, being around people who lack common sense is scary
@@timidb Jesus Christ. people scare me
@@timidb I’ve never used a handsaw, have used a table saw before for set stuff, but I think I’d be just as clueless as Ethan
I've worked in construction before and I can say that I've had the same reaction that Mark is having when the customer tries to help but has no idea what they're doing.
Are you not able to refuse the customer to help?
@@theonionsystem7779 how do you say no to the guy paying you?
@@theonionsystem7779 They're the ones paying for the materials lol. They can do whatever they want
@@cjmarion6350 Politely?
@@silvercandra4275 my experience in the matter points to that not working, but if it works for you then good on you man
"How you saw?" is one of my favorite quotes from all of [REDACTED]
My favorite is the part where Mark goes, “You don’t know how to *_hammer?!_* A *_nail?!_* ”
0:40 I love the sound he makes here I don’t even know how to describe it but it just encapsulates how much he’s struggling 🤣
'Gremlin noises' seems appropriate.
I'd call it a gurgle.
"Grээrgl"
I think it's the noise someone makes when that person is getting stabbed to death.
The sounds of intense concern from mark are pretty great too here
Ethan: "Don't worry about it"
Mark: *very much worrying about it*
This reminds me of the rule on Good Mythical Morning where Link isn't allowed to have sharp objects, I feel like they should implement that rule for Ethan
On the upside, at least Mark overSAW his work
I would like to say that I appreciate your pun. 10/10, got a giggle out of me.
That pun was sharp not gonna lie
The way mark looks at Ethan in the dog house episode I recognize that look. Because my grandfather has given me the exact same looks before.
I was never more attracted to mark than when seeing his total competence during this video.
What I find weird is that I'm just as inexperienced as Ethan in carpentry, and I still found his actions just as painful to watch as Mark did
I love how concerned Mark is. He's just so scared Ethan's gonna hurt himself
Appropriate reaction honestly
Once Mark has his own kid and those kids help him in any yard work, he's going to have flashbacks to this episode
My Commentary while watching: “Ethan… no Ethan that’s not… Ethan no… why are you putting that… I’m having an aneurysm.”
This was a funny and scary video to watch. Related to Mark way too much on this one
Yeah, I would have recated like Mark too...
*aneurysm (You put an "i" instead of a "y" in the word...)
He almost had a second heart attack 💀
this never fails to put me in tears
This is one of my favorite Unus Annus moments purely because of how relatable it is. Ethan's incompetence resonates with me on a spiritual level and Mark's reactions make every bit of it like 10x better.
Man Mark remind me of my grandad when we use to do woodworking together and just the face he would give when I did anything wrong was just this perfect 50 50 balance of dissapointment and sheer confusion and I remember one time when I saw sawing completely messing up the cut and he out of left field said "is there a cure?"
I had zero idea what he was referring to I asked "a cure for what?
And he said "for your stupidity" xD I was so confused about what I did wrong and realised that the blade I was trying to saw with had snapped ages ago and I was just rubbing the wood with the frame of the hacksaw rofl 🤣 😂
That's hilarious, I love that!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I like to think that the paintball thing wasn't planned before but halfway through this video mark decided "yeah i gotta shoot him"
Mark giving off disappointed dad vibes
The episode is called “Ethan becomes a man”
More like Ethan becomes a teenager
welcome back to hgtv tonight we are premiering our new show Two Fuckin Guys Doing Nothing where your hosts figure out what in god's name they're doing
The amount of times I have been at work, forgotten how to do something, and said something to the extent of
*Hey Mark... how you saw-*
is too much
0:05 Not even ten seconds in, and Ethan is already killing Mark's sanity!
My dad watching me screw everything up: *Mark*
Me, a 2yrs old trying to fix anything: *Ethan*
I clicked on a video titled "Animals that took things too far" and it instead led me to this video. I am not complaining though, this is way better XD
This is one of my favorite videos of theirs (especially with the edit at 1:22 HAHAHA) so thank you for putting all the work and time into compiling these moments together! :)
to be fair, i’d probably do everything exactly the same
Ethan: I've never done a hard day's work in my life
Mark: I CAN SEE THAT
I love that Mark got a free trial run at parenthood with Ethan.
That face when Ethan puts the nail up-down never fails to make me wheeze
In this interaction, I just can’t get the image out of my head of Tony Stark looking at Peter Parker with concern and pain
I forget mark used to be a carpenter, so he has every right to be concerned😭😭
eef just giggling the whole time is beautiful
Mark looks unsettlingly good in a work shirt and tool belt.
Not gonna lie, Mark's looking hella fine in this (you know despite looking like he's in terrible pain for most of it)
That was genuinely the one video where I knew exactly what Mark was feeling at all times... because I have been in that position far too often
Gentle reminder that this was the exact same episode that Mark decided to cash in on his paintball threat. And I say Ethan deserved it.
Ethan trying to figure out how to do construction is just me at my current job.
I am both Ethan and Mark. At times, I'm both at the same time.
This is what it's like doing mildly dangerous kitchen tasks with my mum. You just pick up a knife and hear "😬"
BRO THERES NO FUCKING SHOT THIS MAN CANT SAW
I miss this, I know we aren’t supposed to rewatch the vids but they genuinely helped me
Man this reminds me of how it is to teach my sister anything. I like to make things in all capacity; cooking, sewing, carpentry, writing, drawing, crochet, all of it. My sister is sports 100% of the time, she can play any sport you throw her in.
Trying to teach her how a corner joint works made my chest hurt and took 4 hours… I ended up just building her desk my self… and her closet, drawers, book shelf and bed frame.
The only reason I don’t think she did it on purpose is cuz of what it was like helping her with math homework.
As someone who has been a lifelong carpenter, I was Mark through that entire episode.
Mark is definitely the older brother
I was looking for this video for so long
This was my favorite video, it really reminded me of the dynamic a friend I used to have and myself had
This is my favorite video. So many ppl missed out on this duo
This will forever be my favorite duo god I miss Unus Annus
This is one of the videos that I miss the most. It had me in stitches the whole time 😂
This was my favorite Unus Annus video, thanks for the memories
"Ethan becomes a man" is the best unas annus video, if not one of the best internet videos of all times, fight me
Of all of the UA videos, this is the video that I would most like to rewatch.
I’m not a construction worker but every time Ethan had done something wrong or almost something wrong I some how understood Mark
I will NEVER get tired of this clip
This was legitimately one of my favorite episodes.
he is peak dad in this i swear
Very "father trying his young son how to build stuff" vibes
Blue
_Home Improvement flashbacks_
*I N T E N S I F Y*
My absolute favorite video
I felt that “oh bless his heart” in my southern soul towards Ethan when watching this episode/upload.
Simply watching Ethan do things makes me nervous, like I feel like if anyone ever just spontaneously imploded, it would be Ethan.
0:50 had me dying the first time I saw it, its amazing
This was my favorite video
Ethan... Get on your knees.
it's even better cuz this is just one video
I work construction, and watching Ethan’s methods for marking and inability to use a saw, was one of the funniest and most black pilling thing I’ve ever witnessed😂
"Ok. I trust you."
That died INSTANTLY.
The Saw didnt even leave his hand
This will forever be one of my all-time favorite Unus Annus videos
Growing up, I loved carpentry, and 25+ years later watching this, this just hurts to watch!😂😂 And Marks reactions to all of it is so relatable, as I've been there with a handfull of my friends(including my then stepbrother) whom supposedly went to vocational school for the subject of carpentry*cough*toobusysmokingweedandplayingwowanddoingortherstrupidshit*cough*.😐
Wait which wow
That is the one video I desperately want to rewatch now that I’m a carpenter
I was looking at this like OMG I forget that normal people don't know how to do physical labor
I love the part where Ethan was giving Mark a stroke! LOL 🤣🤣🤣
I have not used power tools or even regular tools in about three years. But I’m fairly sure I still have a good grasp of how to use them. I felt every single bit of that mental roller coaster that Mark did.
This is still top 5 best clips to come out from that show
This like when you ask your dad if you can help out and he agrees, only for you to be corrected and supervised the whole time, meaning a little bit of work was done and a tiny bit of frustration but other than that, a bonding experience👍
As someone who grew up doing lots of manual work, this hurt my soul.
Poor Ethan. He's trying, bless him.
I can't believe I missed this one. 💔
Lmao i love how concerned he looks
Man, I miss the channel so much
i feel dirty watching this but i miss it so bad. im sorry mark and ethan
"How do you saw...?"
Oh Ethan you poor boy
This hurts me, like I kinda felt my heart stop for a moment.
I now know what my dad went through unsuccessfully teaching me how to be a handy man lol
I miss this
If I could bring back just one unus Annus vids. It would be this one
This one video made it a crime to delete that channel.....
Thank you for preserving this moment of pure comedic gold
the deflated
yeah wus up man?
hits so hard
"hey, Mark"
"yeah what's up, man?"
"how do you saw"
Ethan is that type of friend that u love the most
