I just got the advanced tarot. Pretty intermediate imo. Idk how i feel about it considering his elemental attributions to the court. Kings being the earth of their element instead of Fire which seems to be universally accepted. Ill read thru it some more to see if ill send it back or not.
Did the advance tarot give you a different perspective on how you read tarot? and was it helpful to implement his interpretations as well? And/or was it confusing from what you know in tarot to kinda transition into some of his interpretations?
Hi. I,m thinking about buying Advanced Tarot. I have several ones about card meanings etc but I can’t find anyone who goes deeper into spreads and readings. You have done a very nice review but when the video was made you still hadn’t read it. The book is quite pricey and my economy is not very good (to say the least) so I would really appreciate your advice about wether to buy it or if you recommend another one. I actually think Advanced Tarot is better than Tarot Deciphered. TD seems like they just jammed a bunch of facts into the book with nothing to bind them all together, no central theme.
Thanks for your reaction. I'm still waiting for Advanced Tarot to arrive. I wanted to give TD another chance but I really don't know what I'm reading. Too difficult for me (I guess I'm intermediate in tarot, wished to learn more, but with TD I'm not able to do that. I will go back to Bennebel's book 🙂 ) I have a feeling that it's written with all those terms and phrases I totally don't get and I can't find any clear explanation in the book. Maybe once after 15 years I'll buy it again 😀 now it's going back to the store 🤷♀️
The advanced tarot book to me is a big disappointment!!!!! Waste of money!!!The writer rambles on and on for the first 200 pages of his own experiences and stories which I'm not interested at all, plus in the meanings of the cards, he gives stupid examples. Doesn't get to the point, I'm actually pissed off
I wish they made tarot reference books with spiral notebook bindings.
I finally received Advanced Tarot and I'm sold. It's definitely my cup of tea. I cannot stop reading 😍

I would go with "Tarot Deciphered", which is significantly better in my opinion
