  • Casa Ora expresses the life and needs of its owners. Designed by Ezio Zupelli and his studio ZDA | Zupelli Design Architettura, Casa ORA represents the essence of their thinking, starting from the context and then arriving at the smallest of details. The studio doesn't just stop at designing the envelope, but also the furnishings that dialogue with the house itself, taking advantage of pocket doors, large windows and recessed sections, creating dynamism internally and externally.
The modern single-storey house is made up of two volumes, built following the axes of the adjacent road and then composing an internal courtyard to the south. The northern part therefore faces the street, housing the service areas, precisely to filter out external noise.
The shorter part of the "L" makes up the living area, formed by the living room, dining area and kitchen and are all enclosed in an open space facing the pool. There are many details in the living area, such as the wall of the TV cabinet and the sliding walls, both covered in oak.
The built-in kitchen, on the other hand, is enhanced by the black color also recalled on the island and on the table in the dining area and match the soft white color of the walls and the honey color of the wooden floor.
Falar serramenti has created the corner sliding door that characterizes the living area and favors the connection between indoors and outdoors. The windows on the north side, on the other hand, have all been both completely hidden, so as to perceive only the effect of the glass, and emphasized by flaring that allows more natural light to be received. These flarings make it possible to give movement to the entire front entrance facade of the house.
All the artificial lighting is recessed and positioned on the lowered ceiling or on the walls, such as in the corridor leading to the sleeping area, characterized by LED strips that start from the floor and reach the ceiling, recalling the "L" shape of the house. Spotlights were used in the kitchen and study, while in the living room circular built-in chandeliers that envelop the entire room in warm light.
Outside, Lessinia stone, or Biancone, was used, which is positioned on the entire walkway, on the entire sunbathing area, where there is the swimming pool, and also on the thresholds of the windows of the whole house. A square shape was opted for the sizing, and this served as a guideline for all the laying of the external flooring of the house, so there are no cuts other than the defined square format anywhere in the house.
Even the painting by Saiaglimbianchini gave uniformity and continuity to the external design of Casa Ora.

hello it's very interesting that you present in your youtube channel. I am subscribed, and I always follow what you publish. it's too interesting your plans, are too contemporary.
but why don't you make plans for restricted land (small land)?
Examples: plans of subdivision vilas (3 bedrooms on one floor or two floors) where there are neighbors (like land : 12m x 13m with 2 neighbours, one close to 12m and the other close to 13m, and 2 facades ) in your youtube channel.

Hi, we really appreciate you following our publications. As a digital magazine, we have decided to represent contemporary Italian architecture and very often the projects are found in large spaces, which is why we struggle to find what you are asking for
