    I’m waiting for a melting pot that you can set the exact amount of melted wax you want dispensed……and stops. I see 2 features, the jacket and the the ability to heat wax up to 215-220 according to “Smell This Candle.” This would be great for someone who doesn’t have any melting pots yet! Thank you for showing us this wax melter! Much love to you and your family!

    I have one! I bought it because I don't need a huge melter, yet, and the price was really good. I have been so impressed with this. It holds a lot and gets my cocosoy blend hot enough. I just bought a second!

    Thank you so much for your video on the ToAuto V3. Based upon your clear information, I purchased this device for my candle-making. I have one disappointment that I'd like to share with you, hoping that you might have a solution. On p.6 of the instructions manual, under "Maintenance," the manufacturer states that "After each use, the wax inside needs to be poured out and wiped off with a rag." In your opinion, is it absolutely necessary to do this? I would like to finish a project and just leave any remaining wax in the melter until I am ready to continue work. Will I be causing any harm to the ToAuto V3 if I let wax stay in it until a later time? Thank you!

      Does it switch off when you turn the temperature lower? There are a few reviews that complain about issues with the thermostat turning off completely when on low temperatures and the temperatures being way off and scorching the wax. It looks fab, but don't want to pay out for a unit that has known issues.

    • @SMELLTHISCANDLE
      @SMELLTHISCANDLE Před rokem

      @@amandag5072 Yes. When it comes to temp, it goes into a warming mode. It has 2 lights on the outside. Yellow and Red. The red light comes on when it's heating and the yellow is on when it's warming. It's never scorched my wax. But I also started on wax melt setting and slowly moved the dial up until my wax reached my desired temp. I didn't just crank it way up there.

    I did find it slips a bit. I bought off Amazon an item called Edge black extrusion medium.17/32" high and grip 3/64"-9/64" 5 foot is what I bought and was enough for two but plastic edge protector. Perfect fit and does the job well. Thought it may help. Jack

    I love mine! Been using for about a month now.
    Is it ok to keep my wax warm or do i need to turn off everyday. Basically, does wax burn when kept on consistently?

    • @jackwheeler3081
      @jackwheeler3081 Před 5 měsíci

      I found out the hard way that if you don't put enough wax in it it will burn. I suppose the only complaint I would have is hard to regulate. I have had mine turned up and never came back on again and the wax solidified.

    I got a previous melter you reviewed and am setting up my workshop. What kind of work table should I get? Would a normal height table like a dining table be ok, or is this too low for stand up work? Also what do you recommend to raise the melter - some kind of mini melter table? Thanks.

    • @StandleyHandcrafted
      @StandleyHandcrafted  Před rokem

      A regular dining room table might be a little too short when you’re pouring. I would look at a bar top or some thing that has bar, height or stool height. those are usually a little bit taller and don’t hurt your back if you’re working for hours at a time

    • @Joe-os3vp
      @Joe-os3vp Před rokem

      @@StandleyHandcrafted Ah, yes I hadn't thought of the back pain. Could you also give me a rough recommendation for width and height? As it's difficult for me to foresee what space I'll need. And do candle makers usually need two work tables for all their jars to set on? Finally, should I be looking at metal catering tables rather than wood? Such as the catering tables with a top and a bottom surface ?
      My work room has a good length to it (although not very wide) so I should be fine for space for shelves and two or three tables.
      Any help is much appreciated !

    I have an important question for all current users of the ToAuto V3. Is it absolutely necessary to empty it of all wax at the end of a pouring session? The instruction manual states that this should be done, but I find this frustrating especially if I plan to use the same wax the next day or a few days later. I am wondering if I should have invested in a different melting pot. I asked this question a few days ago, but I hope someone notices my dilemma and replies. Thank you so much for your attention!!!
