    This would possibly be the biggest kick in England's teeth because this lad is English but plays for Scotland no one to blame but the England team itself for not giving him a call.

    Future for Scotland he should start every game,as he is a natural goal scorer.We need to change our system though,to get the best out off him.Would love our boss to stand down.As I reckon him and Steven Fletcher,would form a great partnership for us.Both are technical with great movement,and good in the air.And can score all kind off different goals,on the turn.And with both feet and with there heads.We just need quality crossers in the team like Snodgrass and Dixson.And guys like Adam way range

    @djeclarke Před 12 lety

    This lad has the potential to be a very special player indeed, well done to Scotland for scooping him up when they had the chance. With that said I don't think the best place for him to develop would be Celtic or the SPL in general. The quality of the defenders he'd be facing wouldn't be much better than he's up against now. Not trying to be a wind up merchant but its true. For the good of the Scottish national side he'd be far better off developing in the Premier League

  • @kevob

  • @MrCemsipahi
    @MrCemsipahi Před 12 lety

    I think he should spend a couple of season in the championship before making it to PL. He would do well in a place like leicester city. It can be too soon for him to face international defenders since he is not that quick and won't find much space in PL. But his finishing and aerial ability seem to be very good. I give it a shot that Paul Lambert might sign this guy to Norwich at the end of this season.

  • @legandrydirk

    Moyes won the second divison with Preston North End in 1999 2000 season.So he has already won something.And is the 3rd longest serving EPL boss.Doing a good job on paltry funds,compared to a lot off teams.Just like Smith done who had less,and recently turned down Wolves

  • @MrSteg94
    @MrSteg94 Před 12 lety

    You actually said Rhodes but I get you now, I hope Huddersfield let Rhodes go, it would be great for his career if he managed to get into the starting 11 of an EPL club. It would really help him develop into a top player. I also hope that Levein gives him a chance in the world cup qualifiers because i reckon he's ready and in my opinion he is our best striker apart from Fletcher who doesn't play for us.

    Aberdeen and Dundee Utd were the focal point,in the early 80ties.They were the new firm,and were winning Euro finals in the Dons case.And in Utd"s case reaching finals in them,and going far other times.The last time Rangers were crap,these teams were fighting for Europe.And great managers like McLean and Ferguson emerged.Who turned young YTS kids into diamonds out off nothing.As there was no bosman,and they could keep them on 9 year deals.And gel teams without losing them all after six months.

    @dorin2goian What makes you think he wont?He has everything you need,to play at international level.He has power pace movement,good first touch,great finisher with both feet.And is good in the air.And is still in our under 21 squad,were he has already scored a barrelload off goals for us at that level.If Steven Fletcher comes back into our squad.The two off them will form a great partnership.And Adam will put them on a plate for them,and Bannen to.With there top notch passing abilty and range.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    Regardless off there size off club in comparison to Celtic.Its still a season off EPL football.And after this season from what the promoted teams have done.It might be another season for him at least.Shearer was at Southampton,the sleeping giants off English football.Be a good move there for him,and perfect foil for big Lambert.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    Rangers are not playing Everton.I support Rangers just like Kenny did.He used to hang around with my Uncle.When my familly moved to the Milton.They were in the school team.And KD was the goal keeper.i am not defending him down to that though.Scotland has never asked him to be boss.And he said he would do the job.We are scared of winners in this nation.If he was sacked I would love us to make him national manager.How ever I think Levein should get the next qualifiers at least.KD could get new job

  • @sampopel
    @sampopel Před 12 lety

    @Abu451 But playing for Scotland, in the qualifiers, he gets to play in glamour games, home and away against France, Italy, Holland, Spain.
    England always get easy but dull groups against the likes of Montenegro and Bulgaria. And when they do qualify, the play dreary matches against Slovenia, USA, Ukraine. When they finally come up against a glamour team, once every 2 years, they immediately lose and go out of the tournament.
    Basically, he gets more glamour games playing for Scotland.

    @Cruyff1987 My neice married a Nigerian guy last year.And they have a kid with each other.What is priceless about that,your meant to be from Leeds.I have been down there,and there is plenty off people in the same situation as them.Could not care less what you think off my Uncle knowing Kenny.He was just another Glasgow guy to our familly.Even when he was at Celtic.He was still in and out the scheame.Good guy he was funny and down to earth,not like the media made him out to be dour in England.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    @Cruyff1987 Danny Lennon the St Mirren boss,is a good manager.He plays the game in the right manner.He builds from the back and plays the passing game on the deck.He would do well down in that league.Rangers got humped out the cup today.Lucky I fell asleep during it,and I mist the humiliation.Could handle that if it has been at Tanadice.It was at Ibrox though.And it means Celtic can still do the treble now.If we dont win the league.

    He lives in England,he probably does.Since we do not have the facilities that England has in any sport.Another perfect example off why Independence would be a great thing for our sport.So you would commute 130 miles to your work every day to train?If you were good enough,like he is?Of coarse he is going to live,were he gets the best training centres.And he knows that we really do not give a toss about his sport up here.We got nothing apart from the bill,for these games.Bought with our N.S oil.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    @Cruyff1987 Aye when we only have one fit striker left at the club in Healy.We tried to sign Grant Holt from Norwich.He never came though,offered 1.2 million.So it was never going to happen.And Sendaza was in Spain,he says the club phoned him.And said they would phone back,and tell him what flight to get.And they never got back in touch.If we lose the title,its our own fault.For not getting somebody in

    I never said Rhodes played for Utd.I said Huddy scouts were up watching Johnny Russell.It looks as if he will be the replacement of Rhodes,if they get there £8 million or more for him.The scouts no doubt wanted to watch Gary Mackay Steven to,but I do not think he played.Huddy took Dixon who was with Dundee Utd.He would have alerted your scouts,of the talented players up there.The trouble is that those 2,are good enough for the EPL.If players like Scott Allan manage 2 earn moves 2 WBA so easily.

    And how did they win it again?Never mind what went on before the final,in the Argentina and Portugal game.The later being the more important.With the Eusebio goals chopped off that were on side.In the final England win bye two goals that should never have been.The first one was never over the line,modern computers have proven that.And the rules off the game have never changed.When a somebody comes on the park,or even something like a bottle.Play gets stopped and re started,in that game it never.

    I think a player would want to play at a major tournament, not get thumped by big teams in the qualifying rounds. And what you on about- England might be crap but the appeal of playing at Wembley and witch them means they play top nations in friendlies on a regular basis

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    His games going to develop more in the EPL though.He is lucky to get 8 games a season in Europe.Down south he is pitting his whits against the best every week.And I really do not agree with that.I think we are all going to remember Swansea and Norwich this year.For the great football that they have played coming up.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    @gazat123 Wrong his team mate plays in the England under 21 team,Smithies the Huddy keeper.Rhodes has no intention of playing for England.Why would he want to end up like Abonglahor,and be put out the picture.And not get games,he should have picked Scotland or Nigeria.I bet that he wishes that he did now.He would have played all the time for Scotland.Rhodes feels Scottish and that is good enough for me.And was loyal enough to play in our under 21 team,to get his chance against Cyprus last time.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    Why have you went from the 60ties to the 80ties?Scotland had guys playing abroad in the 80ties to,Archibald at Barcelona,Souness at Sampdoria,Johnston,Nauntes,McInally,McLeud at Bremen.90ties Lambert went there,and we had Collins at Monaco.

    Brazil has won the world cup,one more time than Italy.So what does that say about Italian football over English football?Brazil are the top dogs,but the great thing about football is.Sometimes the top dog can get beaten.When everybody is backing them to win.And Spain winning three major finals in a row.Is something that Brazil has never ever managed to do.So your right not even to try and take the gloss off that amazing momentous record breaking success.They are light years ahead off UK teams.
