One of my favorite campaigns ever was Florence > Tuscany > Italy > Roman Empire.
Granted, not very "tall", but really fun nonetheless

My latest game that I am playing is exactly as FLORENCE after your earlier video about playing tall. This is also the first time I am playing tall and I love it!
Nice ludi, was waiting for a Florence video. I’ve been trying to unite Italy as fast as I could as Florence, I basically had most of Italy under my control by 1500 and than most of the Mediterranean by 1600
Also broken 12 day siege tics, I also have to point out that part of my campaign.
NIce timing with callin in Milan! They were in the process of disbanding ALL of their troops. Milan has 11k - 1:39 6k - 4:53. If not the war, they would have deleted their army completely. In all of my games Scotland always delete their starting army in two month. And a lot of times Milan, Papal States, Morocco, Portugal, Saxony, Great Horde, Lan Xang and a bunch of OPMs do this too.
Florence is my favorite starting nation and Ludi is my favorite EU4 CZcamsr... happy day!
fast expansion of Ludi nation (every single one) is something what we see everytime...but AI getting France, Castilla AND Austria sooo big in this period of time, that is quite impressive...like literlly 4 big countries for entire western and central europe, that something usual app 1650-1700

My hypothesis about people not being subscribed is because if you’re on mobile and subscribed to a lot of people it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll miss some content, a full weekday of content has you scrolling for days, and almost everytime you click a video and watch it a bit, the subscription page refreshes to the top and you’ve got to scroll all the way down again just to get to the next video, and yeah you can separate it fly channel but it only shows like 15 channels and then you have to go to a new page everytime you want to pick a channel, it’s a hassle and some channels I haven’t subscribed to because the page is already so cluttered
I just had a Hesse game where ai formed the biggest two Scillies. Conquered all of its cores + Sardinia, Genoa, Pope lands. Too bad I killed it with my vassal Provence getting cores on all of Naples lol.

First you do a Norway to Norse America video so I start that run…then after resisting several other runs I fold and do an England one after you did that video…now Florence and the Machine! You should try doing an other vid playing as custom nation. They added new ideas such as Goods Produced which is insane (Goods Produced +2 for every province at level 4), Development Cost Modifier -20%, and u can even have negative ideas (can’t declare wars, can’t send merchants, can’t colonise, etc).
Also your vid reminds me I suck because in my game 1575 and I don’t own Italy region as Florence (okay I went colonial but outspeeding Portugal is so fun).

Would you've even been able to get the Burgandian Inheritance as a republic? (also aragon didn't really have a Habsburg on the throne but the regency until the heir is old enough)

Hey, this question is kind of unrelated to this video in particular, but I was wondering, is there a reason why you never give out parliament seats manually or do you usually just cut that part out? As far as I know it only has debuffs in the Age of Absolutism and the bonuses are quite nice on high dev provinces.

i usually give the seats manually to good provinces, sometimes let it happen naturally if most provinces are trash as it is

0, it was my first try, just like most of my runs, I just mold myself on my RNG, that's why my last 3 florence videos had completely different situations bro, based on the alliance sets the neighbours had

@@IronWolf123 tbh you make your own luck in this game. The ai is scripted in a certain way that uts predictable. If say siena allies austria and austria is rivaled to burgundy then siena wont ally burgundy. Thats an example but my point is that after plying for far too long i pretty much always know what the ai will do

Is there a min/max chain of nations you can form as Florence ( or other Italian nations ) to get mission Permanent Buffs? Like Florence > Tuscany > something else before > Italy > Rome? I think Two Sicily /Tuscany cancel each other out, you can't do both. Could you reasonably Culture convert / De-State into something after Tuscany but before Italy to get better buffs, before Rome?
You can do Florence, Sardinia-Piedmont, Two-sicily, Italy, Rome. You could also sneak in Croatia if you wanted to. With Tuscany it doesn't really matter since it doesn't actually give you a new mission tree, but you can still do it for the prestige

I wanted to do that but there's no point forming Tuscany with Milan since you won't get the Florence mission tree. Only reason is maybe if you wanted to get the Florentine ideas, but Milan ideas are quite strong anyways I wouldn't go through the bother of unstateing everything just to change Milan ideas into Florence ideas

@@LudietHistoria dude I love starting republic and changing into monarchy but I do that at age of absolutism Republic tradition doubles goverment reform progress and you have SOO MUCH excess goverment reform progress when you switch to monarchy

Hello Ludi i recently played florence and allied savoy, i swear to god, someone idk how, they got whole western and hre against them, in one war, it didnt matter if i reloaded the game, they would get declared again, so i canceled my allience to them, it was literally, france, castille, austria, and lot of hre members against them, idk how, maybe they got excommunicated or something?
That's very likely. The pope likes to excommunicate his rivals and often rivals Savoy at the beginning of the game.
If a country has been excommunicated the ruler's name will appear as red when you click on that nation.
