I always feel bad for the guys who fuck up the take off, because there is such a small window of opportunity in this stuff, that being 1-2 seconds behind is just a loss. The other guy had already won by the time you correct your mistake. And you can see it when they only go 50-90mph when the other guy went 250; they know they’ve lost, and they just throw in the towel.

my first 1000ft drags were the last time i wasted my money at the track. drag racing is 1/4 mile..........

paul in oregon 1000ft? This isn’t top fuel or funny car. This is 1/8th mile PDRA which is 660ft.
