In the jungle of Costa Rica just a few miles off the beach you will find many anglers dream catch, the rooster fish! We flew from Miami into San Jose then to Puerto Jiminez Costa Rica in search of this rooster fish.

My Son and I was at crocodile bay back in February we also fished with Adrian inshore fishing. It was my son's graduation present from UNCW.
We had a great time I caught a 50-pound Rooster fish. What a great trip We also did the jungle tour Enjoy!!!!
You two should do a long range trip out of San Diego next summer. 3-5 day trip. Intrepid, Independence, American Angler, Royal Star, Excel, and a handful of other boats. They book fast and have been selling out a year in advance.

Great show and a great inspiration for our Granddaughter Talia and Grandson Ian. We're off to Costa Rica tomorrow 12/27/2022, to do the very same thing, fish near-shore for Rooster Fish, and off-shore for Sailfish, Yellow Tail tuna, Mahi Mahi and who knows, maybe even hook in to a Marlin.... enjoy your videos 👍
We’ve been to CR several times, love the fishing there! No Roosters yet though. Caught those in Mexico. Looking forward to going back to CR for some big ones! Great video.

When I fish the Chesapeake Bay for Stripers I am eating tuna fish all the time on the boat, maybe I need to take some Stripe Bass sandwiches with me to catch more bass!

I love your videos, might I suggest you look into some mic's? The audio quality is a bit poor, especially when one of you is talking from behind the camera.
Google says rooster fish are in their own family of fish and not in the jack family. And I don't know why people say they're not good to eat, I liked it when I tried it. I wouldn't kill a big one on purpose, but a small one is good. And if a big one dies from the hook I'll eat it. The meat was like amberjack as I recall.
I'll be there in February and hopefully I'll catch roosters and snook from the beach. I'll eat snook too. Same rules for eating them.
