Just take note that it can increase your triglycerides and uric acid, plus increase the risk of insulin resistance if taken all at once and in a continuous basis.

Personally, I avoid them as much as I can.

I was an LCIFer for a yr now and fell off the wagon. My friend introduced this group and here I am tryin to get back up. This is my first real low carb day. Without eating any rice, bread and pasta and stayed below 50gms of carbs. And feeling good again.

Thank you for showing us a way to be healthy again and reclaimingthe quality of our lives through this diet. But I just tend to disagree on the role of fruits in our health. I think its the simple sugars that poses a risk to our health like the fruit juices that we consume. However bad fructose can be in a fruit, we sometimes forget the extra benefits that comes along with it like the fibers and natural vitamins. Also, we do not consume large amounts of it on an average. I think we should be free to choose for ourselves what works and what does not because we have different bodily responses.

I'm so blessed na natagpuan ko ang channel mo Dra. sana ma adapt ko ang program sa no rice diet para ma maintain ko ang physical health ko. health conscious po talaga ako, I never smoke nor drink alcoholic drinks.
At 60 wala po akong maint. Med. only multi vitamins..my diet are fruits/ veges. and fish w/ very limited red meat. Pro malakas ako sa rice and root crops. Regular din akong nag hohome work out. Before I was an active basketball player and Gym addict..hope I can follow your vloggs regularly. I am proud to say that I am an ancestor of centenarians. Because my lolo and lola have reached 112 and 105 respectively before they gave their life back to our creator in late 60's..

Hello! Po! Doc. I'm your new subscriber last early Oct. Lang and started stop eating of rice Oct. 22 til now and at a big surprise for my health. No head ache good sleep as well and also I drink 1 mug native coffee in the morning w/o sugar. And practice eating LCD. Now I observe my body a little bit reduce. Thank you so much doc. Hi dra... new subscriber here. now we know why nataas tryglicerides ni hubby( he a colon cancer survivor)66yo sya and very seldom eat meats.. can consume half a kilo of grapes in one sitting... likes watermelon a lot.. bananas,oranges,papaya dragon fruits.. you name it na mga tropical fruits he consumes it with gusto ...kasi healthy ba accdng to him.. always telling him na sugary din yan kahit natural sweet( fructose)..

Doc nag lowcarb ako mga 2 weeks na at dati nag iinum ako ng mitformin once a day at ang sugar pag nag check ay only 110 -115. Nang magstart ako mag lowcarb at cnubukan kong wag n uminum ng mitformin ng mag check ako ng sugar ko 110 lng cya so tinuloy ko ang pagkain ng lowcarb no rice at all pero ngtaka akk after 2 weeks ng magcheck ulit ako nag 176 na ang sugar kk balak ko bumalij muna sa rice very limited lng.ano ang obserbasyon mo sa nangyari ng biglang pagtaas ng sugar dok

Hi dra.i've been following dr.eric berg before i find you.can you explain your journey in healthy keto diet,i'ved started IF for 3 months,but as i exposed to a covid relative,i feel sick,and also im developing electrolyte imbalances.so i stopped.back way then,i experienced of not being hungry anymore but there was still cravings.i lose weight 5lbs.before,my ideal body weight should be 50kg.i know i should get back to track again.i just want to know,how far this journey can take us into,if we continuosly depriving of the foods,and the "clean foods" can it affect in mental health,anorexia perhaps,or because we know what to avoid and your budget is limited-is it possible to cheat sometimes?😅.

Yes, coffee and tea are okay esp if pure black no creamer, milk, and sugar. They can do low carb first. Then later incorporate with fasting.
