Thank you! If I understand your question correctly, yes i total made 3 separate stitches in this cardholder.
Question from a newby, I laser cut leather (very new) why do you use adhesive if you're going to sew? Is it to keep it in place while doing so?

What weight leather are you using here? I have some 3-4 oz but I’m thinking that’s too thick especially after 4 layers are stacked
Here is 1.3-1.4mm, in totatl its ±5.5mm
What is the optimal skin thickness for a vertical cardholder for two pockets?
My choice is 2 mm for each of the three layers. Their sum is 6 mm. Isn't that much?
2mm is quite thick, i use 1.3-1.4 for my crafts

What edge beveler are you using? It looks like exactly what I need
I use Palosanto edge beveler size 0 and 1
Is there a way to make it a little thicker to be able to hold more cash? Love the simplicity but often times with these kinds of wallets I’ll go out with 5 $20bills but those can easily turn into 25 bills.
What do you mean? When you put card in external pockets it makes such a hard case for middle slot :) Before i add new design cardholder/wallet for sell i like to test it by my self. Im usually having ±3 bills and 5 cards in my own cardholder, it worked with no problems.
sorry for the very late heads up, try putting all card pockets only on 1 side of the wallet, this turn the empty flap very supple and would easily flex when stuffed. to mitigate an overly soft flap, try stitching the open side for 2-4 stitch hole so the quick access side would have a little more constraint from simply flapping away
