Me, as a depressed person:
- Emma: done your teeth?
- Me: actually, no.
- Emma: cleaned your face?
- Me: no.
- Emma: got a little drink of water?
- Me: no...
Me to myself: "Damn. I really don't give a sh*t about my well-being. You know what? I'm gonna take care of myself for once". And proceeded to do all three of these things, then restarted the video and felt proud of myself when answering "yes" to her questions instead.
I don't know if you realize how much impact you have on your viewers, dear Emma. But I certainly won't stop thanking you.

My thoughts, too. Emma does this unlike any other ASMRtist I have found. She treats us with respect and somehow reaches the place inside me that needs care as a child needs care. I feel mothered and nurtured and cared for when I am normally the mother (of four) doing the caring and nurturing. It is healing for me to be able to receive rather than to have to endlessly give.

Before there were ASMR videos on YT, before I even knew what ASMR was, I had a yoga instructor with a voice like Emma, and she had a very long voicemail message that had all the details for her various classes, and when I needed soothing, I used to call just to listen to the message, over and over. 🤣 Grateful for an easier, less creepy way to listen to ASMR these days.

I love when you sing and potter around. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and my mum would sing to me and stroke my face. She would then potter around my room. Whether it was to pack things away, put away the freshly folded clothes or fix things up that were out of place. This was truly so comforting 😌

Wow. Hearing Nature Boy in this aspect is SO different from what I’m used to. I’ve only ever heard it in/from Moulin Rouge so this is so cool. But what’s interesting is I kind of find both versions relaxing so it works either way. Nice singing Emma.

I especially enjoyed the crinkly duvet, pillow and gentle fabric rustling sounds, as well as your amazing singing (my favourite song was ‘Dream A Little Dream of Me’), and the gentle face touching in this, so thank you for including all of those. Dream a Little Dream of Me was my lullaby growing up and this brought me comfort i didnt know I needed thank you Emma.
I think this is the sweetest little thing, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law sing Dream a Little Dream to their daughter every night as they're putting her to bed, and I spent a week with them in March and got into the habit of humming it to myself as I was falling asleep too... having you sing it before I fall asleep is so soothing, I wonder if this is how my niece feels, cozy and loved as she's drifting off to sleep.
