- An unofficial English translation for the RPG game MARIKINonline4! It's not much right now, but I'm hoping to make more of these videos in the future!! :)
Be sure to read the stuff at the start because I suck at writing descriptions lol
It's not an amazing accurate translation, but it's a start until someone who actually knows Japanese makes a better one!

For all 16 main characters they're divided into 8 females and 8 males. Actually both are equal but without including the villains

The fact that a game so cool doesn't have a english translation make me really sad
I can't believe I have to miss out on this crap. I'm not even far into the video and I already wanna start a Japanese course in duolingo
Honestly I came here because somehow there's alot of these stick figures in Pinterest with different artstyle (I was just looking an idea for my stickmans oc) , and a bunch of Japanese animator animate that stickmans. I was like, "Damn,these stickmans have their own fandom especially that fish head guy" XD
So,I look it up because I thought it some kind of webcomic or something. It turns out to be a RPG game.
the "fish head guy" is named kirimi
Same here came from pinterest seeing the drawings thinking they were really cool then when on a journey to find the main source for like a week, until I found this video. if I could play this game totally would but I don't speak Japanese

aw no problem!! ive been wondering what this game was saying for a while too so im glad people could benefit from me posting this so they dont have to go through the trouble of translating it themselves :D
i do know that there's a MO3 if you search for it (i can give you the link to the download if you want!) but i couldn't seem to find the first two games no matter how hard i tried looking 8( i know the creator has posted screencaps of MO2(?) on his twitter at some point but that's about the most i've found of the game :o
@@beesyndrome9123 Ive unfortunately found it very hard to find english info on this game, and I dont quite think google translate can translate it accurately enough.
I most definitely do appreciate the work put into this project and hope to see it continued!
I know there's a marikin 3 that was like a demo, and I think the author said in the description of the download site that there's no other games before that.

@@senshakin Well, I don't really think my information is correct but, the dev of the MO series deleted the download to MO3 (along with MO1 and MO2 I believe) some got to play it but it's rare to find people that still have the game itself. Though there are gameplays of it posted on CZcams! (i know your comment is 5 months old but just to clarify tho)

@@beesyndrome9123 well, i never professionally learned japanese, but i do understand a few. I usually use the translator and dictionary too so...
it's easier for me to understand japanese through listening than reading so i watch a japanese playthru vid for mo4 and use that to translate. that's the basic procedure

There aren’t any official English translations, this is the closest thing we have so that’s why I’m trying to learn Japanese!

I mean, my only options are straight up learning japanese or using a translator
Manually translating everything would be time consuming, a big part of the translations would probably be wrong and rather confusing, but it's INDEED possible
I'm determinated enough to do it because I'm really invested in the story, but it would be really good to know if there was another way before actually doing it y'know?

ah thank you!! yeah some lines here and there were really hard to make sense of from my translator, and i didn't wanna butcher the sentence too bad by trying to guess so i just left those as they were JKJKDFJS. i'm really glad to help people though, that makes me really happy :D

Mo3 is unavailable at the moment, but there is a walkthrough on CZcams, I recommend watching it. Tbh I'm watching it at the moment and trying to understand what's going on by using Google translator. The translation is crappy, but still you can understand some things

Ah.. You need to unpack the files and also you need to download RPGmaker (The info about it should be in the readme file)

Sorry, I'm late.. But they are ikenumas! (Or numas for short. Also they're called "swamp" since it's the direct translation of the word "ikenuma", I guess)
Just some sort of human-like creatures. Unfortunately, Axez (The main creator of the game) didn't told us more about these species...
