Fun fact: for the past 5 hours I have been remaking my own top 100 Monstercat songs video. Unlike the first time I did this, it was all one video instead of being split into 4 parts, and it was going to be the longest video I've ever made. Unfortunately I am a colossal dumbass and I often forget to save my work, anyways my software crashed and I lost everything I had been working on, right when I was 95% done, forcing me to start from the very beginning. So I'm sitting there trying not to have a meltdown and then I see this video pop up in my notifications. And I think to myself "why me?" It's all good, though. I'll finish it tomorrow, it already hurts less than it did a few minutes ago. And I'm sure your video will be high-quality like always.
Here's a couple of ideas that may interest you: • Top EDM albums of all time • More Beat Saber sessions about MCat classic tunes • More EDM/general music reaction videos • Underrated EDM songs/artist • EDM Stories (a section in which you tell the story of different EDM artists)

Really, really good list. There are certain songs here that I’ve loved for years and felt like they’ve been special to me (like One Less Star and especially Castaway) so it’s great to hear how much you love them too. There were also some classics that have only just grown on me these past few months, like Talk To You and Dead Man Walking. This is probably the best list I can find that doesn’t include Grant - Won’t Give Up (my fav monstercat song). Also, surprising first but I can mostly understand why you like it so much.

The sheer love for Castaway and the revived enjoyment of Starships, that's what I'm talking about Dee Cranks!!! It IS a comforting song, and Castaway is in my top 3 for Grant forever. Respect for the Crankdat supremacy still. Here's to a great year!

5:13 if you want good stories connected to edm, that's New Dawn Collectives whole thing. Caster is over there writing a whole novel in just music and short lore snippets for each song (except for the Forbidden arts EP, the lore for that was 8 minutes long not including the singles from it). I've only gone into Casters discog, but I'm sure the NDCU is much larger all this to say rank new dawn stuff pls
