How did u grow pans wit out a tent
Would you recommend plants for live casing with these, keen to try but my first time growing pans and not sure if it's worth trying on my first attempt or to just use a kit as is

hey man nice videos.. your channel popped up in my feed at just the right time.. i just got a free spore syringe of Panaeolus cyanescens/Red Down Under Redspore Mutation from sporeworks.. a little advice would be greatly appreciated. i really only know about cubes.. what is the reasoning for using a shallower substrate depth? and would it be fine to do a pseudo casing layer or none at all as i dont have any casing material.. i watched another video of yours talking about baba yaga's monotub tek on shroomery so im reading up on it but thought i would as your advice.. you have a new subscriber now.. good content buddy keep it up. thanks for any info at all.
Hallo fellow astronaut i’m curious how many (grams) did you receive out of a flush? I started watching your videos to unearth some of my old knowledge and to say good work buddy your very informal I’ve recently started growing (pan cyan Florida) a grow a kit I received will be taking some clones and prints to make a colony 😅 wondering would it be possible if you could share a video on (pans) a low tech method without pasteurisation and sterilisation apparently you can do this with moist cardboard with spore print on Once you see mycelium cover with poplar or aspen and then covered with wood chips or leaves kept very moist apparently it will fruit But my main question to you is how many (grams dried) did you receive out of one flush from the ttbvi thank you 🙏 ☮️

Newbie here. Put spores to popcorn jars. Colonized popcorn jar mixed with pasteurized cow manure and coir in shoebox. Added a peat moss casing layer. I did fine misting twice a day and used the dubtub technique. 10 days later I had a full flush. No contams, 2nd flush is on its way.

I don't know if you respond to comments but if you do, do you have a video of the grow you harvested here? I get a few lame small mushrooms growing in a martha tent. Not sure if it's not enough air exchanges, too much humidity, or what. I'd like to see your method.

How do you harvest ones that grow on the side between the substrate and the tub? I got a few growing there and there's not enough space to get my fingers in there

There are woodlovers, poolovers and grasslovers in there. Your list runs the gamut lol, just focus on only one, do a lot of research on how to grow them and do it well is my best advice.
You cannot cultivate Liberty Caps. Why? google it.

I don't know what a level one taste experience is and never tried the Pans but like compared to like GT's what would that equate too or liberties?
I've tasted the liberties several times when i lived in the NW.

These pans are at least 5x as strong as GT, taste-wise. A little goes a very, very long way.
It definitely depends on the genetics of the pans, but they can be quite strong. I’ve had wild pan cyans and found that 1g was equal to about 5g of GT, but currently I have some TTBVI which are way stronger-0.33g is stronger than 6g GT.

They taste better but have a strong bitter aftertaste. 1g is pretty damn strong. The equivalent of 5g is going to be a different experience from cubes, so it is impossible to directly compare.

Did you say 0.1 is good for a dose? I have got some my self but don't know how much is good for dose as I have still not tried them
0.1 for a level 1, if it’s your first time I would try .3 to just gauge. Everyone’s different as well so take it slow and easy with these guys, seriously!

So I just fruited pan cyan but they look nothing like those. They are supposedly "blue meanies". Just like with cubes, I imagine there are different pans (ie, GTs, B+, APE). What are these called?
GT,B+,APE those are cubes. not pan cyan. Maybe you fruited blue meanies which is cube.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on this today and sadly I don’t have a definitive answer. But I think all mushrooms that fall under the family panaeolus cyanscens are blue meanies. Cubensis is not blue meanie but vendors are labeling there syringes blue meanies to hype up the genetics and most importantly to fool the un-informed. Pan cyans are faster growers than cubensis. Require higher temps, more fresh air exchange during fruiting. People describe there experiences with pan cyans as having less body load, more euphoria, better visuals,longer trip.I saw many people say that one to 2 grams of pan cyan is as strong as 3 -4 gs of cubensis. In this video there are real blue meanies
The best strains are Estero, named after a town in Florida, and the very best one is TTBVI, Tamarind Tree British Virgin Islands. I'm just getting into growing these strains, they're a bit more difficult than growing cubes. @@lestern71

Challenging. Not recommended for beginners, this species in general. Stick to cubes for some time till you get the hang of it. Also these are not cultivars, but a different species.
@@MycoSageA different genus and clade even :D. Pans are barely related to Psilocybe. Agrocybe (piopino) are they sister genus to psilo cybe. With Gymnopilus/Galerina being in the sister clade to Psilo/Agrocybe.

Damn I'm going to run a shoe box and a JCM tub side by side, shoe boxes are my favorite because they are super fast n simple, I hope the shoe box works well.
How often do you have to mist it? I work long hours like 14 to 16 some days. I know with my cubes I mist in morning n when I come home from work n the surface dries fairly quickly In my shoe box. Maybe baba yagas mono tubs might be a better option? Idk I guess I'll never know unless I try.

I disagree. This is an amazing flush out of a shoebox! People have been saying you need an XYZ super automated setup to grow Poolovers. I put that shit to rest and the Dunning Kruger specimen like you! 🤣
@@MycoSage i doubt it that a shoe box only grow. it was in a tent or you had to baby sit it 24 hours with fae and mist.. you are a beginner pan grower who has simply not much clue.
