On my 2006 Ford Five Hundred it was labeled and easy to turn on all interior lighting with one switch. Just found out that it can be done with my Taurus.

Go to the Ford owners site, there are numerous videos about how to use all the special features such as this. Did you know if you have the digital entry code on the B pillar, you can go to the beach and leave your keyfaub in a special compartment in the center arm rest and lock the car. Then use your digital code to get back in.

Due to the high gas prices I've been driving good and babying my Taurus and I kid you not tomorrow will make 2 weeks since my last fill up and I'm now between half and a quarter. $62.00 to fill up vs $35 a few years ago is a huge difference March 11th 2022 I filled up during my lunch break and March 25 2022 I still have little over a quarter tank. Currently I take off slow from red light and I only sped like twice 😅 maybe 3 times l. This car is a beast when it come to fuel economy

Im going to go pick up my new to me 2011 limited. Just remember about ford they’ve been making cars for a very long time and they have mastered adding little amenities. Look into the old fords from the 50s and 60s. They were loaded. The downside is that they cost a lot to maintain and that has hurt their reputation. Chevy was cheaper and could be repaired by the common working man.
Seem like the best option is just yank out all the lights. Seems like every car has some dumb @$$ flaw and this is one RIDICULOUS flaw that should be standard to have option for dark mode. Maybe it’s an American car think. All my foreign cars do it 🤷🏽♂️
@@ohjuniorboi02 actually I found out you can take it to a Ford dealership and have them put it in Police Mode. The downside however is that this will also kill the exterior entry lights that come on so you can see around the car when you walk up to it.
Did you know you have 7 LED interior lights??? I have a 2010 Taurus Limited. Almost every Ford Taurus owner I met they don’t know about the LED interior Lights.
I didnt know we had 7 to be exact but yeah I knew there are LED available for replacement but I havent change them out because I dont like my interior bright at night... feel like people be watching lol 😅 I am considering going LED from halogen with the trunk light (I currently have 2 LED stripes in there) and LED with the side mirrors. If you dim your dash down to just 2 bars, then go into vehicle settings on your center screen and dim it as low as you can. Then turn the interior under dash coulourd light to DARK BLUE or RED, you'll find night driving in low light areas 100% easier to see ahead.
Has anyone here had the bad fortune of replacing the water pump on a 2013 Ford Taurus, Flex or Edge...if so look into the class action that has been denied by a judge in " Detroit Michigan" its a $500 job at most that turns into a couple of thousand!

Yup I hear ya! I added two 12" subs and still havent got around to removing the limiter but i was thinking i might leave it because I'm almost always up there so if i adjust it to 130 then il be doing that. Plus 110 is safer for us and easier on the engine
I hope these are the right specs but you can Google it to be more sure, you should be able to use any photo as long as its 800x384 pixels and under 1.5 MB I think and JPEG is what I used. so if you have the USB slot in armrest area upload photos to your flash drive and plug it into the USB slot, then turn the car ignition to accessory or to on (just be mindful to start car if the process takes longer than say 5 minutes, so you don't get the "Battery Saving Mode Screen") once the Flash drive is plug in go to Settings-Display-Background and load the images from there. Neomis 01 Wow! I miss my 2006 Five Hundred Ltd too, it was roomy comfortable, just had way too many problems for me to pay up. On my 13 Taurus it really depends on my driving style. On a speedy week I can get 18.4cty and 22hwy but taking my time I get 19.4cty and 27hwy. It takes extremeness to make 21cty/29.7hwy. Here's what I do, reset one of my trip measures on the left menu and drive easy (take off slow and on both highway and city utilize cruise control) One time I went 9 days on one tank of fuel... but with a car this bad (cool style) I'm overtaking everyone! Lastly I have a feeling it's the difference of engines, my Five Hundred had 3.0 direct inject with 203hp and weighed some 3400lbs this Taurus is VVT with 288hp weighing in at around 4000lbs+ or so (FWD, AWD)

I have a 2014 and get 26-27mpg but I mostly drive on highways. Not much in town
