OK look, that was just silly. They're a set of brushes for tole/decorative painters to make easy work of repetitive elements like flower petals, leaves, butterflies etc that you find on vases, dishware, picture frames, walls etc. The boy simply was using them wrong that's all. These brushes require specific techniques typically used by decorative painters to get the "effects" being advertised. I'm sure you can find a tole painter somewhere in N. Cacalaca that can do the demo video for you. If not you could always call Donna Dewberry.
I purchased the set... and after a week of testing them I can paint beautiful flowers w the set and yes I use all of them... I love them... but truth be told u do have to mess around with them until u find your comfort zone... just have patience... thank u for this tutorial Darlin...
The annoyance at these brushes is hysterical!! 😂 Tell us how you really feel…🤔. The “mermaid tail” brush makes really awesome ribbons!! Can’t say I’ve ever use it for parallel lines, may have to try that technique. I use the “hollow brush” for trees and bushes, rockstar brush makes quick work of grass! They aren’t completely useless and pay for themselves for the way they annoyed the demonstrator 😘
Actually I think these are pretty cool. As a calligrapher I can see myself doing amazing things with them among other stuff. I don't know this video you guys made isn't funny like the others.
Makeup artists who do a lot of special effects work would love these brushes. I could definitely see myself using these for that purpose! But I don't do too much SPFX work unfortunately!

Your not using them right! The small round scrappy brush is great for tree and bush foliage….you have to push up on the paper. You are applying the grass effects brush in the wrong direction, also you can dab the ends to create leaves on trees. These brushes are Awesome and make it so much easier for artists to do landscapes, fur, flowers, sea, etc…..but you need someone that knows how to use them to demonstrate them! Terrible demo!

I agree with you 100% , it takes time to learn these brushes, but the techniques used are great. Also the quality of these brushes are really good.

Too funny! The "hoofprint" and "hollow" brushes are for animal fur effects. :-)
