I love this archetype to death. It's sweet nostalgia with a modern twist that isn't just "negate everything". One thing I have been doing with the deck is using a small dogmatika engine to kinda weaponize the extra deck to help support the shortcomings of the main deck without putting in an excessive amount of handtraps. 3 Nadir Servant, 1 Dogmatika Ecclesia, 1 Dogmatika Maximus, and 1 Dogmatika Punishment. I've put Fleurdelis in there before as well, but I'm not super sure with how I felt about it after some testing so I have her as a side deck option for the time being.
Dimension Shifter is definitely a must have on the deck
Love the deck profile nostalgia at its finest. I’m more of a Mai fan but Yugi was a great character. Hopefully black luster soilder or Even a God card retrain would be nice

Hey CyberKnight and YT. I used to love yugioh but stopped playing after the 1st year of yugioh coming out. I'm looking to get back in to it now that I have more adult money. Im more of a collector and loved yugi's Dark Magician deck. Any recommendations on where I can start off would be helpful. Thanks!
It depends if you wanna play competitively or not but I would suggest some options,if u want to start with a nice deck under 100 dollar,maybe not min maxed but still good I'd recommend spright runick, If u can spend above that you could try tenpai dragons,or if you really want to take the money pact there's yubel or snake eye,other suggestions would be some deck that okay Horus,they are generally good going first and even second,even tough they alone cost a bit,or purrely as one of the cheapest but it's hard to master
@jasonmaiorano148 thank you for replying! Is the dark magician & blue eyes archetype still viable for competitive? I've decided on getting 2nd Haunting for collection (opening) but would still like to get back into playing as well. I'll look into the Spright Runick that you mentioned.
@@zekeybear5323 sadly Blu eyes never was actually,and neither dark magician,while you could still play it it's pretty fragile
