I've listened to as many Opera singers from the 20th and 21st centuries as I could and in my opinion, Sabine is up there with the likes of Pavarotti and Callas as one of the best ever. She has awe-inspiring talent. Her voice is sensational. She is simply marvelous. I may have a little crush on her, but that is my unbiased opinion.
I feel exactly the same way after 40 years of playing with the best!
Pure divinity. Sabines voice is absolutely outstanding. Her pure voicing and clarity is fantastic. And to be able to listen to this top notch musicians on a recording will be a gift from heaven.
Sabine's voice is pure bliss. So much color. Love it.
Sabine is so talented and hers words so plainfully inmersed in a world and life of arts, that one can imagine she is pure daughter of Apollon.
I really love her voice!!!! It is aesthetic but super strong.
Yes, rare to hear a truly beautiful voice.
Merci.
Divine beauty !!! Bravo!!!
Sabine et Raphaël, sublime !!! / These two, together, are simply sublime!
Such excellent camaraderie and trust👍🏼 couple with above par synchronisation between teams
Thank you - in one word enchanting as it feeds the soul within and arround 🙏💙💟💎👼👨🍳🌅✨🎨🖼🏡😊🤗❤
This album will be realy something beautiful, I'm sure.
This is Mlle Devieilhe's finest album, and I have been a superfan from the very beginning.
Omg ! It's amazing! Thanks for posting! BRAVO
The one good thing that resulted from the lockdown: Sabine's gorgeous recordings
Very good!!!
Vraiment magnifique !!
. . . .et la voix !!))
Sabine is so fantastic. ❤️
Sublime! Merveilleux!
Wow! Devine👏🏻
Increibele!
Merci.
Gratitude.
💛

What is the name of the piece that Sabine starts singing at 1:10?
Se Pietà, from Handel’s Giulio Cesare
@@vinniecoelho Thanks!
What is the piece at 3:10?
What are the names of the sung pieces?
What is the name of the intro music? Classic experts please help🙈
What is the name of the first piece I hear when the video starts?
Bach: Harpsichord Concerto No.1 in D Minor
@@bfjones1198 Thank you
@@bfjones1198 I like the sound. Can you give the name of the orchestra/organist please?
@@nevillehenry8787 it's on this album, as Sinfonia from bwv 146
@@bfjones1198 Thank you.
Baroque period songs and singing take some getting used to. But with this kind of voice, I can Handel it. I'll be Bach for more!!
BTW, I saw a performance of Guilio Cesare with Danielle de Niese as Cleopatra and David Daniels as Caeser. Production used Bollywood musical traditions as inspiration. It was fantastic, as otherwise Baroque operas are Chamber pieces that can be very static when staged. This, OTOH, was jumping!!
William Christie directs exciting concerts of Baroque pieces. Stutzmann also did with Orfeo . I recommend The Handel concert Il duello amoroso with Emöke Baráth.
@@frogmouth thanks 👍🏽

Yet the consolation offered by secular music is limited, compared to sacred. It is written: PSALM 92: 1 "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound."
Der hieß JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH ( nicht Jean Sebastien Back)
Yes. Ch = k for us (like chœur) but we know we have to pronounce R.
What dong is that in the beginning
If she would relax her face a bit it most certainly wouldn't hurt her singing...
She is singing one of my favorite piece's although I don't like her voice I like the original
Sorry I need to mention it, but people look ludicrous with masks on.
Your commentary is ludicrous
@@KayHarpaGone Oh Kay, I would love to meet you, and hope you would not cover thy lovely features with a mask! Very nice singing, and real French at that!
@@caduceus33 🦹♂️😂
@@KayHarpaGone Oh Kay, we all need to make our own choices, and many have chosen masking for disease prevention. With all the conflicting info about what works and what doesn't it may be a safe choice, but surely you must agree that it looks awful! I will name an alternative worth striving for: In the classic Agni Yoga book "Fiery World I," El Morya states:
"17. The substance of fiery immunity was described by Zoroaster. He pointed out that from each pore of the skin people could call forth fiery rays to smite all evil. A man clad in a protective armor cannot succumb to any contagion. One can increase this resistance through unity with Hierarchy. Thus, the heart becomes like a sun reducing all microbes to ashes.
18. Indeed, the bacilli of cancer exist. They can be detected and killed primarily by the fire of the heart. If the absence of psychic energy contributes to their growth, then the fire of the heart, being the highest expression of consciousness, destroys them. In fact, everything that is readily consumed by the higher energy can be mitigated also, to a certain extent, by physical fire. The roots of many plants contain in themselves potent fires of the vegetable kingdom and can be useful where the fires of the heart are as yet inactive."
What do you think of that?
Ralph
Seeing you wearing masks is a joke.
