  • Hilma af Klint (1862 - 1944) was a pioneer of abstractionism. She created a significant number of abstract paintings during early 1900, before Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian and Kazimir Malevich, yet remained unknown until 1986. Her work remained largely unseen until the show at the Guggenheim museum in 2019. Her mysterious connection to and guidance from spiritual realms was depicted in her art work. Listening to the sound of turning pages through headphones at low volume can be a very relaxing experience. It can produce ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) or tingles for those who like this type of videos. Enjoy! 😊

While practicing my art creations and working on the next video, I want to share with you one of my latest fascination with this artist. You can also see the way I "break" a new book with stiff spine without breaking it. It is a meditative experience of its own.

Thank you! 2:37 is also my favorite, that unusual combination of colors is very appealing.

I didn’t know her. It seems that she really was ahead of her time. I like the geometric shapes, colors and symbolism. It’s a relaxing video. 🙂

She truly was, and she knew that the audience will not be ready for her art for many years. We started appreciating her work more than 100 years later...
