This was the first time I tried to draw a face of an elderly person, loosely based on a reference picture (revealed later in the video). It will take a lot of practice to achieve the likeness. In this case I wanted to depict wisdom in her eyes and overall I'm pretty happy with the result. What do you think of this face?

In photography I sometimes joined two diapositives to make a kind of sandwich, something like a double exposition. You made a very good job here. Both drawings are pretty but the dandelion is my favorite. 🙂

I like making collage from art scraps. And yes, I can relate to your "make it perfect" at the end, even if it's just a test sketch 🤣

While practicing my art creations and working on the next video, I want to share with you one of my latest fascination with this artist. You can also see the way I "break" a new book with stiff spine without breaking it. It is a meditative experience of its own.

Listening to the sound of turning pages through headphones at low volume can be a very relaxing experience. It can produce ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) or tingles for those who like this type of videos. Enjoy! 😊

After trying the Caran D'ache Palette I would definitely recommend to use this method, especially when drawing on a very toothy cold press watercolor paper. Happy drawing & painting! 🎨
