There's something so interesting about ruined abbeys. We saw Bolton Abbey from a distance when we visited the dales but didn't get a close look, It looked pretty spectacular!
Love all of those places in Nidderdale and have been lucky enough to visited them so many times. Would also have to include Hackfall Woods, Pateley Bridge and Scar House Reservoir.
