- Hey everyone Phoenix here. In this video, I'll go over the basics of using a powersave, showing the different codes and explaining the difference between powersave and genning. My next tutorial will feature editing a pokemon to be battle ready. This video is to help people who are using powersave for the first time and to understand how to utilize it.

Can you make a video comparing powersave wondercard events to the legit ones comparing them internally 'code-wise'using pkhex to see if they are the same before buying this?
When you get the pokemon you want. For example in X and Y the pokemon would be level 10. In Sun and Moon its level 5. Is there a way i can get the pokemon i receive at a higher level? 30/40 would be good.
How u do this? I enter my codes, and it proceeds. When I go to codes, nothing happens. Please try to tell me what I did wrong.
Powersaves cuts the fighting for EVs and just gets straight to the value number. I remember grinding pokemon of the same EV value for competitve play online in White Version. When I heard about Datel Powersaves/Action Replay, I had an easy time going up hill.

How do you make the ev that you selected in powersaves stick for ultra sun and moon?
Eric Wellbaum To add evs to a pokemon, put it in box 1slot one and use the ev codes to put the evs in the desired stats
Though you can use Powersave to get Mega Ring early in the game, you can't make pokemon mega evolve even if it's holding it's mega stone

Are the WonderCard Event Pokemon considered “legit?” I don’t plan on using them for Online battles or any sort of pvp, I just want to have them in my dex/box since I was never able to be apart of any event from any gen, aside from gen 8 since it’s the newest gen. I mainly want marshadow, zeraora, hoopa, etc. for the dex entries and if you have suggestions for which ones I should avoid adding before moving them, even though I’m pretty sure they won’t really even care so long as I don’t use them for pvp like I said.

Does the PowerSave Pro for 3DS work for the 2DS or would I need a specific one? I'm assuming it does since they play the same games, but they're two different handhelds so I want to be sure before purchasing.
It's an external device that you hook up to your computer ,so pretty much as long as it's a 3ds game, you can use the powersave.
Phoenixking96 Thanks! It's been a while. I remember using GameShark back in the day and then Action Replay for the DS. I haven't touched it in so long, and I've just been playing it straight up and still enjoying. But after completing a living dex for Sword and Shield, including the DLC. I want to do a shiny living dex for the past games. So this can help for sure.

Moraktion you can get majority of the different types of pokeballs in-game. There is also a code that can let you change the type of pokeball a pokemon is in.

For example, If I use calcium it will raise a Ninetail's Special attack stat to 389 from 370)
There is a code where you can get 900 of each of the battle items which you can use to increase a mons stats if that's what you're talking about or you can use the evs code to set how ever much evs you want for your mon for their stats

I remember when I used powesaves for x and y (my first game) and after I grinded and got my team to level 100 I decided to make them shiny and I kinda regret doing I still have them to this day but I'm gonna try to turn them back to their regular forms

24/7 Gaming yeah. You can use the egg wonderlocke code with powersave. If you wanted to use phex, you'll have to hack your ds. There are plenty of tutorials online on how to do it.

I'm debating on buying this. For the shiny codes, is it possible to just have the set shiny chance code for Ultra Sun? And are the codes available for Ultra Sun & Moon in a few days from what I hear? Cause I'm not to interested in any of the other codes other than making things shiny, like eggs, legendary encounters, receiving pokemon like Poipole etc?

DoDTrueCreatorSF there is no set shiny chance code. The shiny codes make the pokemon shiny and the codes will be free in a few days.
Let me rephrase, does the code make any pokemon you encounter or receive shiny? Or does it just hack/modify pre-existing ones?

oh you trying to see what that code can do. That code represent all the mons in the national dex, so when it says pokemon 1-6 in box 1 slots 1-6, it means all the mons with that dex number will appear in said box as eggs. Once you take one step, they will hatch.

question I bought a power save but how do I register my license key?
You register your license key on your codejunkies account if I recall and it will ask for it when you login on the powersave app
what exactly does pokemon in boxes do? Does it take the number the pokemon is registered as in the national dex and put it in the slot in the pc? like if it was 1-6 it would put the national dex pokemon labeled 1-6 in the slots?
That code represents the mons on the national dex. So if you use the code labeled from 1-6, You'll get the pokemon with those dex numbers(bulbasaur - charizard) from the national dex.

@@Thotacus That I'm not entirely sure of. I wouldn't recommend using that code for legendaries.

@@Thotacus When you use that code, the pokemon will appear as eggs in your pc box and you'll have to hatch them once you use the code. Legendaries can't be hatched, other than manaphy but that was from an old event in gen 4.

You can the powersave to get many of the events that were given out via ultra sun and moon or from previous games. There's a separte folder whoch would show the events you can get. This wouldn't include pokemon like melmetal or zarude.
yo ik this is a year old but did you get marshadow and zeraora using a power save and are they legal im debating buying one for the events i missed at game stop but i only want them if they are legal

I like that these can make a backup Incase anything were to happen. Tho is there ever a risk that your data can be deleted, corrupted, or your game bricked from making a save backup?
My Shiny Living Dex was acknowledged by the voice actor of Professor Oak and I plan to transfer it into Pokémon Home, but since there’s still no game after 5 years and 7 titles that over 200 Pokémon can enter I want to make a backup first just to be safe as I don’t entirely trust my Pokémon in Jail/Home. Before I pull the trigger and buy this device are there risks that this device can delete my save? Just looking to keep my collection safe after thousands of hours invested into it, I’d appreciate it.
From what I can tell, I never had any issues with this device deleting my data or corrupting it.
@@Phoenixking96 That’s what’s up, I’m glad to hear making a backup is safe as that’s my main concern. Then I’m curious if this would work. What if I backed up my save, then transferred all my Pokémon to Pokémon Bank then into Home. Afterwards restore my now empty cartridge to the previous save that was made before I transferred everyone up. That would essentially clone pretty much all my Pokémon all at once wouldn’t it?
Also while reading comments people said they needed to pay to use the codes via “points” would I need to pay any extra fees after I buy the device just to backup/restore or to clone my Pokémon? Cause that’s all I need it for is to make a backup to help keep my collection safe. I greatly appreciate this.
@@125SonGoku you don't need to pay any extra fees. The points were to get early access to the codes before they came out. All the codes will be on the device. The answer to your first question is yeah. I just tested it out and there were no issues. The back up file would have everything prior to the changes that you made. You can also back up your data manually and rename to keep track of it as well.

Hi how can I mkae my pokemons gain xp quickly and have max level using the powersave?
You can use the exp code on the powersave. There are different amount of exp depending on the lv of the mon and how much exp needs to get to lvl 100. I'll go more in depth on it in a future tutorial. When using the exp code, i recommend using 15,000 or 60,000 depending on the lvl of the pokemon.

If you power save can return you Save data
Yes. Your save data will be backed up via the auto back up option on the ps app each time you use it.So if you wanted to restore a previous save, you can do that

Unlike genning, powersave is primarily used to edit pokemon. You can use the egg wondercard code but that is a long process to do tbh. You can use the ps to edit your mons to make them battle ready by making sure they have the correct amount of ev, right moves and abilities if applicable.

Slight chance. It has a feature where you can automatically backs up your save file. If something happens to your game, you can restore it with any of the files you have backed up.

Is there anyway to get your save back
There is an option to back up your save. Go to option and turn auto back up on. Esch time yoy use your powersave, it will back up your saved file, so if something goes wrong, you can restore your file with any of the backed up ones.

The powersave for 3ds is an external device and it comes with a usb cord and license code. You'll need a laptop or desktop to use along with installing the app on pc. When using it, you'll only need to put the game in the device and connect it via usb to use it
I diagnose you with the IQ of a bottlecap
kinda late with this hacking device, hoping you might be active and reply. What do I do if I can't access my license key? My username is correct, password is correct, license key is correct but I get an error message saying something is not valid. help?
Does it say what specifically is invalid? Maybe try re typing your info in. If that doesnt work, try contacting codejunkies support.
@@Phoenixking96 it says either my username is invalid or my key is. i've done it countless of times where i got "suspended for an hour" which means suspended forever cus i can't retry it the next day. but i sent it back for a replacement and hopefully the new one works

If you're referring to the powersave codes, they are free to use. Before they were released, you had an option of buying the codes to get access to them or wait till they were released and free to use

Eric Wellbaum you can't Do It with powersave. You can only do that with phex

Eric Wellbaum Phex is a program kinda like powersave, but with it you can make your own pokemon from scratch. The only way to get is to hack your ds using certain methods.

@@Phoenixking96 idk because a friend of mine got disable from using that software. He was ok until the sep update. My sis gift me a 3ds with ultrasun and I want to get the ones that I missed. And since I don't have funds for monthly payment I wanted to do my own Pokemon. And I was thinking to get a cheat software and started asking but some of them got banned. That's why I'm asking from different forums and CZcamsrs about that.

Action replay powersave for 3ds. When I bought it, it was compatible with the gen 6 games, but an update was released so it could work with gen 7 games
Can I make a whole box shiny at once
Zach Melillo you won't be able to make a box of pokemon shiny, however you can the shiny codes to make it shiny depending on which one you're using. You can clone the shiny pokemon in the first box and that's one way of having a box of shinies.

what are IV'S
Ivs serve as factors that serves in determining a pokemon's stats and varies from each mon. In other words, they are like a pokemon's genes. Ivs range from 0-31 with 0 being the lowest and 31 being the highest.
Phoenixking96- If you alter the Pokémon’s IVs and EVs can you still trade it?
@@succulentpizza Yeah it will still trade. As long as the mons has up to 510 evs it would trade. If it has more than 510 evs total, it won't trade. For ivs, you can set however much you want but personally I put 5 ivs on my mons depending on its nature since the extra iv isn't needed

Do you have the auto backup option turned on? If so, you can revert it to a previous save file and use that

Hey man I need your help, when I try using a code for my sun and/or moon copy it saids "There's an error processing your game file" is the error depending on the cartridge or is it coasted by something else and what should I do to fix it?

@@GL_Burst you can clone them and transfer them to sword and shield. If there is nothing wrong with the pokemon you cloned, they will pass through. Keep in mind when you transfer then to sword and shield, you have to go to the battle tower to get some kind of mark to use them in ranked battles.

@@GL_Burst its a symbol that represents a pokemon you transferred from a different gen to sword and shield. Thats how you can use pokemon you transferred from previous gens on ranked battles in gen 8.
