- Changing things up a bit with some quick and easy Christmas ornaments. I've had these bisque ornaments around for a long while, and finally decided to paint them using Ready Mixed Paints. Give them a little skewer work for a dreamy, elegant look. I used Artist's Loft Ready Mixed Paints because I love the colors and the wonderful shine they maintain when dry.
I have reduced the prices of about half of my work on my website, so feel free to check it out (email me rather than pay through website for lower shipping costs):

Beautiful 😍, I love them all.
Thanks for watching, Yvonne! 😘
That is fabulous!
Thank you, Linda!! 😀
These are gorgeous! A tip for working with the wooden pieces, roll a long piece of masking tape and stick to back, makes a nice handle
Thank you Cindy! Yes, I figured that out, but honestly, the cut outs are so flimsy, I didn't like them at all. 😉
Love these Chris!
Thanks for watching, Kathy! 😘
Stunning 😍
Thank you, Deidre! 😀

Thanks, DLeigh! 😘
@@ChrisJeszeck are they for sale?
Hi Chris its great to see something nobody else has done. I thight you might hve done one in deep red & green of xmas but the colours you chose were nice. I use a lump of 'bluetac' on the back of my glass garden rocks when dipping so much easier to pick up. 🎨🥰
Great idea, Jenny...thanks! I have six more ornaments...lots of combo possibilities yet to do!
Oh! These bisque ornaments are fabulous! The shape is so elegant. I really love the gold one, that dip is gorgeous, they'll all look so festive and sparkly on your tree.
Beautiful and tidy work as always, you're a true inspiration.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback, Coral! 😘
Inspiring!
Thanks. Jane!
That was fun! I haven’t dipped in awhile. As always, thank you for the inspiration!
My pleasure, Judy! 😘
Those are beautiful! Wow!
You must live at the end of a runway😂
LOL! A few miles from an Air Force base...
Thank you for sharing this Chris..... So elegant! 💕
Thanks for watching, Lori!
Lovely. The design on the silver bisque ornament looks like a flower! I kept waiting for you to use a Christmasy green!
I thought they were pretty, but I didn't sell any! LOL! Thanks for watching! 😘
Chris, I’ve watched 2 of your ornaments videos today and I sure wish I had seen them last year! I made some pretty ones but I like your techniques better. (I poured inside the ornaments and made blooms on some.)They are gorgeous! Thanks. ❤
Thanks Paula! They were fun to make, but this year, I'm working on yarn gnomes...so cute!
Now THAT is a cool technique!!! You know you could add some fine gold/silver leafing too just to give some dimension! But they are all just beautiful!! 💕🎄👏🎄
Good idea...I have a bunch of it, somewhere in my studio! 😘
They remind me of Victorian enameled watches and pendants!
That's what I was hoping for! Thank you!
The silver white and blue one kind of looks like a flower in the middle of leaf I think I would just put Tina the top and bottom with a little black and silver and it'll look good
This video was from last year...those ornaments are long gone! LOL! Thanks for watching! 😘
Hi Chris...these came out so pretty. I had picked up similar ceramic tiles at Menards sometime ago. I have all these paints, excited to give this a try. I love it when you use pre pour paints from ALoft. No mixing!🥰
Yes, and they dry so shiny! Have fun, Mary Lou!
Neat idea! That blue and silver was gorgeous! Maybe try evergreen with blue and white on the gold? 🤗💚
Perhaps...I have six more! Thanks for watching!
I love those Christmas ornaments...especially the ones with finiols. What a great idea. This could be something you could do and give as gifts. I made a discovery yesterday that I think you will be interested in. I mixed Folk art antique copper (it's a real pretty brownish copper, not so orange-ish as AL copper, which I know you love as I do) and dioxazine purple together and WOW it's gorgeous. It looks real similar to Folk Art Treasure antique copper. I love those paints but they are expensive for a craft paint. I thought I would share with you because I know you like copper and you like to mix your own colors. Thanks for the great idea of dipping ornaments...they are very pretty!😊🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
I have mixed a similar color and yes, it's GORGEOUS! Thanks for the reminder! 😘
Can you use this technique with a glass ornaments
I don't see why not...maybe spray with a matte spray first to give some tooth, though I didn't with the plastic.
Hi Chris, do you remember where you bought the bisque ornaments? I’ve been looking everywhere on line and can’t find anything similar. All I could find was plain flat circles which would work but they’re not as elegant as yours.
Oh Cindy. I've had them for years...couldn't tell you where I bought them. So sorry! ❤️
That’s ok, I ordered some nice acrylic blanks from Etsy, gonna give them a try! Thanks for the inspiration
