I don't want to discourage you, but the Too Faced Milk Chocolate bronzer is the only bronzer I've been using on a daily basis for the last 21 months! I just repressed it because there was only a tiny ring around the outside and I think it will last me another month or so. I didn't think it would last as long as it has, because I naturally hit pan after 2-3 months, but that sucker is still going! It's amazing value, though...
Your pink halo eye is heavenly 😍 And I can see where your Flashback Fridays would be useful for knowing what to cycle into your project pans.
Thank you, Kami!!
Girl you're doing great on that Laura Lee palette!
Thank you doll!!
I am LIVING for every look you do with the Juvias Place Masquerade palette! It makes me want it so bad, butttt waiting for a good sale!
Would love to see a weekly makeup basket! I don't think it'd be too repetitive. Or maybe film it once a month?
Try less alcohol next time or press more - until the paper towel you press down with comes off with only a little bit of moisture... And have you tried the hot water trick witb White Russian? Stick it in a cup of boiling water and most lip glosses reveal where they're at.
You're doing really well!
Thats a great idea! I need to try that!!
Just be careful not to fill it above the cap line (where the cap touches the bottle) I have had issues before with water getting in the tube.
Do you find that the Chocolate Soleil performs differently now that it is repressed?
I still think that it performs the same but its a little bit harder for me to get the product out now :/
Nice progress!
I have the issue with breaking when I use too much alcohol. I either repress without adding any alcohol (I got a busted KvD palette and people on Insta thought the after was the "before it broke" photo) or I use the smallest amount of alcohol possible. Kat and Hailey from beautynews show how they repress stuff in their "destroying makeup" series, and thats basically how I do it too :) In case you want to check that out :)
You have helped inspire me this morning to get back to my panning items! I’ve been struggling as of lately and then when I don’t see progress it makes me not want to wear makeup from frustration!
I love seeing your progress. So far I have used up a mini serum and a rollerball perfume. I have been slacking this month on my products so I need to get back on track!
You are doing so well with this project. The Buxom glosses are my favorite.
That bronzer is never ending! I’ve been panning mine too and have repressed it and mine looks pretty similar to yours. I’m pretty new with repressing products as well too. I felt like the product doubled when I repressed it, it’s insane! Great update! Love this eye look!
You probably just didn't press it down hard enough. One time I forgot to press down an eye shadow & it just dried full of cracks. Still works though!
If you want to see the progress on the buxom the hot water trick works for lip glosses as well! I've tried it on the buxom glasses and it honestly makes them easier to use as well. Just heat a cup of water up in the microwave and then put the gloss in the cup after and it all settles to the bottom.
Congrats on the progress! Im starting up a pan that palette next month, fingers crossed!
Girl, you're so creative with your eye looks using the Juvia's Masquerade! Good progress on your panning project! 💙💙💙
Great progress! I know what you mean about the never ending eyeshadow pan. I experienced the never ending primer! It took longer than I thought but I finished it! I’ve been enjoying shopping my stash and picking products to pan. I’m now focused on a lip gloss, a cream blush, another primer, a brow product and a tinted moisturizer. Plus using a specific perfume Mon - Fri. On the weekends, it’s my choice!
Your eyeshadow looks so pretty! Great progress on your project.
Great job on the declutter! I'm still working on panning my wet and wild dulce de leche Contour palette and now my Physicians Formula talc-free Mineral powder, which I use to set my Foundation. It's so satisfying but I also feel like it's taking forever!
I love your eye look.
Bronzers are definitely one of the hardest things to use up, I've had my butter bronzer for about year and haven't hit pan or even close to it.
love your eye mkeup in this video!
Great video. I'm going to gather some products to focus on in March. Also, loving the eye look and nail color. Very Spring-y :-)
Thank you, Sara! And good luck :)
I love your eye look here!
I'm super impressed you hit pan on the Chocolate Soleil bronzer!! I owned mine for...ohhhhh.....FOUR YEARS of daily use and finally hit pan on it haha! I finally had to throw mine away. Awesome Project Pan!!
I feel you on the blush, my milani rose blush is not going anywhere!
I find that drier powders crack like that after repressing. It helps to use the least amount of alcohol possible but for drier products it's hard to stir it unless you add quite a bit of alcohol so it's a catch 22. Unless it's a creamy powder, it just happens. I've had it with this bronzer and mac eyeshadows
That Kat Von D concealer is in my project pan too!
Good job on the progress! I really enjoyed drugstore week also!! :*
Thank you! I did too :)
Good job Kelly!
Those nails and those eyes 🙌🏼
Nice progress, Kelly 👍
And your eyes, lips and nails look lovely! But, let's be honest, you're so pretty that you will be looking good in almost everything 😀
You're so sweet! Thank you!
Oh man these first few months flew by! I'm scared of my check in lol!
When I repressed my tf bronzer it cracked like yours then got hard pan because I repressed it to hard then I repressed it again and I presses it lighter and instead of spreading it all over the pan I did it built thicker on the side and that helped
could you do your makeup basket maybe once a month or once every 2 months?!
such a good video !👍
I think you are doing fine. And with the bronzer it was probably the alcohol and did you press it down? Idk mine do that sometimes.
I understand that you are sad that it’s difficult to pan the afterglow blush, i try to pan a blush too. But on the other hand I think that it‘s great that the products lasts a long time because they‘re expensive 😊
Next time just try adding a few drops of alcohol at a time ;) and if u didn't repress it too hard you should start flying through it.
I think I repressed it too hard haha
I have a lipgloss in my project, too, and it's so frustrating how I can't tell my progress! Same with my liquid lipstick and concealer.
Regret didn't meet you earlier !!!!😘😘😘😘
Maybe the cream eyeshadow is slow going because you use it up evenly, not targeting your brush in one specific spot?
That is definitely part of it!
I never repress my items because I’m always so afraid I’m going to mess them up
The blush struggle is real! I have like 20 blushes and I only have pan on one :( I really love blush though and I keep buying so many and end up not using up most!
Jasmine Vella 😂😂💄💄 I hear you!! Blushes are beautiful, but I'm on a "no buy" since I have 13, the first and the last ones were free from makeup purchases I had made. 😀
Pan on one is still very impressive!
You definitely used too much alcohol in the bronzer. It should be a putty or a wet sand consistency that's able to hold its shape. Make sure you're also using a paper towel to absorb excess and also use that to cover something that shape/size to really pack it down 😊
You definitely put too much alcohol😂💕
You used too much alcohol. Drops at a time and mix until it only comes together. Practice makes perfect. I would love to see a monthly makeup basket.
