(Toronto television station Citytv used to run a weekly program titled Movie Television", or "MT". This episode covers the making of the Canadian/German science-fiction/fantasy television series "Lexx". I recorded it upon first-airing in 1997, but for some reason I cannot remember, I pressed "record" two or three minutes into the program. I hope you enjoy the other 22 minutes.)

Didn't actualize how far beyond Star Trek TNG Lexx was. This show could be rebooted in today's technical landscape and potentially be just as big as it was before.

Yeah, but Lexx season 5 would have to be low budget. And they don't generally do low budget sci-fi anymore, other than over in Britain. But for an American audience, sci-fi has all gone big budget. Which I wish we'd still get some more experimental low budget sci-fi.

Definitely. Amazing, unique sci-fi.
Fairly new fan watching season 4 and posting videos on my reflection of each episode.
I saw this when I was a toddler, so good! Didn't like the last series so much, and there was a lot of what felt like filler episodes in the second season. But over all really interesting and quirky series. Got to appreciate both as a kid and adult. (Though wouldn't advise this for the little ones lol.)
I loved and still love the series. Why did they discontinue it?
Everything awesome gets cancelled because it never has mass appeal and only has a cult following and therefore doesnt make as much money, hence why we live in an age where almost nothing is good or special. Sorry.
If I ever get Bitcoin rich I'll do us another 3 seasons.
it was'nt discontinued the story ended in season 4 (spoiler kai gets to live again)

Characters we do not ever want controlling the Lexx. animated Joker from Bat Man series, Bizarro, Riddler, King Pin, Magneto, Sinister, Apocalypse, Darth Vader, Bobba Fett, Jabba the Hutt, Count Dookku, and Jar Jar Binks.
Don't forget about Captain Crunch and those three weirdo's Snap Crackle and Pop. Not to mention that crazy Coocoo for Coco puffs character!! Lol
I just couldn't go to sleep without mentioning that strange dude from Ireland....what was his name?? He was always trying to sell Lucky Charms and we just can't forget one of the most sinister of all....Count Chocula!!
Isn't the death star kinda like the Lexx? Darth Vader kinda had one.
Also our planet has a metal core, and a magnetic field that keeps us all alive. Doesn't that put Magneto on that kinda power level?
