Caroni Bird Sanctuary

The Caroni Bird Sanctuary is a protected wildlife preserve, which is home to many animals such as Caiman, Snakes and Birds, the Main Attraction being the Scarlet Ibis which is the National Bird of Trinidad and Tobago. Tourists are taken out onto the river to see the Birds come in for nesting in the evening time.
