Tesla Model S: Yoke Reimagined with PimpMyEV

- In this video we will be installing a yoke in replacement of the steering wheel on the Tesla Model S. As you may know that Tesla Model S no longer comes with a traditional steering wheel and have upgraded to a yoke.
We came across a website called PimpMyEV whom hand builds yokes in many different styles and for any Tesla model. We found that the yoke not only is stylish but also more practical for a better visibility of both the center cluster and the road.
We found this to be one of the greatest upgrades for the Tesla model S and wanted to share our experience of the installation and our full review.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I am on my way to do it as well, but if I don’t already have a wheel heating in my current steering wheel, can I get it in my Yoke if I purchase a one with a heating?
Thanks man. I been looking for a good yoke vid on a model s. You included the test drive and pretty much answered all my questions. I think helped me make up my mind about getting one. I was wondering s does it give it a airplane feel and yup. I was right.

Did you have to recalibrate the steering wheel ?
I thought you should unplug the first responder loop prior to disconnecting the negative terminal on the 12 volt battery. What torx size is used to remove the air bag assembly?
Anyone having issue trying to get the center piece back in at the end? Seems the bottom of the center is a pain and won’t secure
