PILOT VS CABIN CREW: Switching briefings! Ask A Pilot

What happens when a pilot and cabin crew switch briefings? Pilot has to do an "overwing exit" brief and cabin crew a "departure brief". Reminds me of the two teen girls who were excited to get the extra room of an exit row. When a fire broke out they didn't understand how to get the door out of the way after opening it. Eventually the other passengers crushed them on exit. I believe they both died. Its not just a fun seat.

No it's not! If I have cocky passengers I make them give the briefing to me. Usually they can't remember a thing and get embarrassed. Aftet that there's usually no one complaining about the exit briefing. 😁
