This was the case that originally peaked my interest into true crime type of content I went to highschool in San Jose so I always wondered what happened to her, great content.
A case suggestion: Shaariibuugiin Altantuya, a mongolian, was killed brutally in Malaysia. Despite its’ horrendous and violent nature, justice was not served. She had a child, and his father desperately went after the killers, but to bi avail. I used to run into him at a bank nearby, and you could tell from his eyes that he was exhausted emotionally and physically. I hope you could cover this case and not let her become forgotten 😩
Usually the bodies are places the murderers know well and visit often… she has to be somewhere he frequented often. Like his phone pings etc. Hope she is found soon, it’s been far too long.
Oh my god, this happened in my hometown. My older sister went to school with the suspect. I never thought this case would be covered. Sierra Lamar's disappearance had a major influence on my life- my family's rules got stricter, curfews were set and we always had to keep our parents updated whenever we left the house. It had been a while since I last checked up on the case I admit, but I'm glad I found that it was solved when this video showed up in my recommended section. Her name stood out to me like a sore thumb, and I'm delighted to know that her case was finally put to rest. Thank you for covering this one, and I pray that the family find peace.
@@leshynezvaloare8044 yes and no. They convicted someone but never found the body. Personally I think her body is in the quicksilver mines. It’s easy to access.
@@whitedragoness23 I did follow the rules, thankfully. I wasn’t about to risk my own life like that, tragedies can happen to anyone at any time, it’s selfish like that. But great question! Hopes this quells your curiosity.
@@leshynezvaloare8044 To me “solved” is convicting someone. Unfortunately her body has not been found, though there were rumors that she was thrown in a canal of sorts. Hopefully she will be found soon.
I’ll never understand how we as a society allow sex offenders (especially child sex offenders) to rejoin society. It’s proven time and time again that they always reoffend.
It’s crazy that the school didn’t notify mom that Sierra was absent until after school hours. Our local districts have always sent an automated call at 10 am if your kid is absent. Heaven forbid your child be abducted like Sierra… by 5 pm you’re already 8+ hours behind.
In my country South Africa, we don't have any system of notification. If a child is absent, they are absent- no biggie. We need a system like yours but as you say, an improved system.
@@claudiabothma I also live in SA and at my children's school we do actually get a notification if the child is absent, sent via an app which the school uses to communicate all school-related news. I guess it differs from school to school though, but there is that option open for schools in SA.
@@hk6969 I live in the outer metro-Atlanta area, US. Even though we are still fairly rural, we’ve had this system since I was a small kid in school, some 30ish years ago.
I went to Washington too knew both sisters from cheer. So terrible it was hard searching for her out there. We had to wear boots to cover our legs from ticks and other bugs around the fields.
this is why even in high school I walked with my daughters to their bus stop and stayed or took them to school. I was lucky to be able to do this. as I didnt have to work, my kids used to get annoyed but the other kids at the bus stops over the years seemed to find comfort that I was there with all of them. :)
@@thatscool1550 My point is when my daughter, annoyed, grinds her teeth and says "I'm fine. DON'T WORRY......". I don't mind being disliked because I look out for her safety as much as I can.
I can't imagine having my daughter not only assumed dead, but having no clue where she is for all of those years. I feel like that's the worst ever torture. I hope they can find her and put her to rest. The family deserves closure.
I hate that word "closure". Its the most misused word in murder cases. This young girl was murdered by this vile coward. Her future was cruelly snatched away from her, her family lives with this every day. Murder, especially of children, never gets "easier" to live with. I hope that everyday he is tormented and pummeled by other prisoners. At least in California prisons, other prisoners have a severe distain for this kind of predator.
There is a tried and true way to extract that info from the murderer: torture. Sadly, too many people care more about the murderer than the victims, so this is illegal.
@@nealkelly9757 Torture isn't tried and true though. People would say anything to make the pain stop; they might even lie. So you might end up convicting the wrong person
That’s what I am thinking aswell , it’s so sad as I was watching this on my TV I had to get my phone out to comment because a poor little girl went through the unthinkable , when you hear these cases not sure about you lot but by nature for me you start to imagine what happen and it sickens you , she must’ve got forced into the car forced to sexual actions then killed whilst she’s terrified this whole time , fuck man I got to stop watching these videos this case fucked me up man , rest in peace Sierra life is fucked life is unfair and I just don’t understand it
Went to school with her, cheered on her team, watched her best friends mourn her loss, was at the searches and fundraisers, even sang her happy birthday on birthdays she wasn’t there for. this case has never let anyone who knew her rest, even to this day.
I live near her. There were vehicles EVERYWHERE with pictures of her taped to the back windows. The search was absolutely massive. Even after the official search was called off, hundreds of volunteers would show up every single weekend looking for her. Many are still searching, even these years later. This tragedy really struck the community hard. I hope some day she is found, and that the murderer who doesn't deserve to have his named mentioned rots and dies in prison.
@Zarp Sterr tbh with crimes this cruel, torture is the least they could do. Starvation, isolation, cutting off hands and body parts. If in other countries people are afraid to break the law due to the punishments, why doesn't our country? Is it because they protect pedophiles at all costs? Same for murderers and rapists? With harsher punishment people would be more afraid to break these laws.
Criminals have rights, they are human beings… not law abiding citizens !!! WOKE ignorance brings crisis to the world!! They care about homeless and illegal immigrants as well, but anyone would care them enough to host some of them home?!? None! Because they know they could be dangerous in many ways!! Hypocrites big time
This could've been me... 32yrs ago I was 15yrs old and while walking to the bus stop to go to school a stranger tried to force me in his car. I was extremely lucky to have gotten away. Later I learned he did kidnap and rape another 15yr old girl. He was sentenced to prison but for all I know he may be out by now. The experience changed my life - it made me trust people less and be hyper aware of my surroundings. Prayers to the family of Sierra. I hope they are able to find some peace and closure 🙏
One night walking home from school a man followed me. I crossed the street 3 times to make sure I wasn’t being paranoid and there he was getting closer each time. Just as he thought I was turning a corner, I ran up the stairs of a strange house and pretended I lived there and started yelling I forgot my keys. He looked at me and ran off. After that I started going home different ways and at different times when my dad couldn’t meet me at the train.

What does that really have to do with the relevant stat that abusers typically were abused themselves? That statement doesn't help improve anything at all. Yes, not everyone with a bad childhood turns bad, but bad people tend to have bad childhoods. Attacking that problem can lead to less bad people, but your statement is an argument against that, which makes no sense.
i agree 100 percent and i suffer from mental health but i would never even attempt to try n justify something like this with the bs excuse of mental health cuz again i am borderline skitso , demanic depressant , bi-polar , and i cant member the last terms they used but it means a lack of remorse or feeling of differentiating love to death i look and feel the same about it all but that is and would never be a excuse or even attempt to justify or withdraw myself from anything of this sort ... smfh
@Richard Homan , Being that sociopaths know right from wrong, I think that sociopaths make a choice, and need to deal with the consequences like anybody else. People who blame their decisions on prior childhood traumas are looking for sympathy. Where's the sympathy when a sociopath willingly hurts another person or animal, and know that they are wrong in doing so?
We raised our 3 daughters in Morgan Hill and our Grandson went to high school with Sierra. It was a shock to our community when Sierra went missing since many of our children walked to their bus stops. And her killer worked at a store that I shopped at all of the time. I just wish that her killer would man up and reveal where he has hidden Sierra's body for her family's sake. R.I. P. Sierra, wherever you maybe. You will never be forgotten.
I truly doubt that Sierra's Killer will ever let her whereabouts be known...narcissists with sociopathic personalities love knowing they have secrets and of being in control of everything and everyone. Plus, Sierra obviously rejected him and made him question his "power" and God syndrome. I read this...;)
Like you , I have a close relationship to Sierra. My sister , who lives in Fremont, is an acquaintance with Sierra’s mother. Hate when these crimes hit so close to home. May Sierra rest in peace, especially since they caught the responsible person. It would be nice if they finally find her and her family can have closure.
She is in God's care , he can hide her body but her soul belongs with God and he could not take that away for her or her family, rest in eternal peace Sierra🙏❤️
Right? That poor wife and child. I hope she divorced him right away. He is a monster. To deny he did it with overwhelming evidence is awful. He is definitely going to the hottest place possible after death which he deserves🔥

Despite its’ horrendous and violent circumstance, it got little recognition and exposure. As a mongolian who followed the news at the time, it was heartbreaking to see justice failed. I really find Adrian’s delivery of heartbreaking true crimes respectful, and hope you would see this comment to shed some light on this case. Thank you
From Singapore and yes this case should be investigated thoroughly! Justice has not been served in that case. I hope her family will get the closure they deserve soon. Aamiin!
I live a couple of miles from where this took place. I remember I was in elementary school. From one day to the other, you can see all the efforts taken to look for her. I remember not fully understanding what happened, but as I got older, I realized the proper gravity. Also, if my memory serves me correctly, the San Jose police received a call about an undressed skeleton in a dried river bed a couple of miles from where the incident occurred. Still no updates as to who the skeleton belonged to.
I'm Australian and am pleased to say one of our states has passed a "no body=no parole" law. I'm hoping all States will follow suit, and it would be wonderful if it became standard in similar justice systems worldwide. We might have embarassingly poor sentencing protocol but at least there's a start on doing things right.
I'm the same age Sierra would've been. I find it pretty irresponsible that the school waited until that night to alert her parents of her absence. When I was in HS, we would get a call home if we were absent from any class without a call-in from a parent in the morning informing them of an absence
Neither my middle or HS ever notified my mother when I skipped. My son is still in grade school, but if I don't call before 9am (class starts at 8) I get a call from his school.
Same as you (I'm 23) and my HS would never notify my stepdad. My Mom ran off with some dude and it was just my step dad around...barely. I have two younger siblings and if one of them went missing the school wouldn't care enough until it was too late. I was in Navarre FL and the school always had their doors unlocked.
Thank you to all the volunteers who kept on looking. May her remains be found and laid to rest by her loving family. Thanks also Adrian your narrative is done so well.
For him to just sit there with no emotion or remorse while her family plead for her body just shows how evil and psychopathic he is. Rest In Heaven Siera no one can ever hurt you!!!!
He claimed he went fishing that day right? Not sure if there’s any evidence to corroborate that, but it does make me think that he probably took her to a body of water. I pray that one day she will be recovered so she and her family may know peace and closure.
a great observation. its entirely possible that, not knowing what the cops had figured out, he mentioned fishing to cover his bases in case they had evidence or testimony placing him at a local lake or whatnot.
Yes! Specially when he sais that he strangled a snake inside his car and did throw a used tissue out of the window to the location where he left her school bag. It is like he was speaking in code. I am sure that police did look into that. Possibly just not in wide enough circle. He was gone for a FULL DAY! Hmm...wonder if his phone records did show his locations on that day? But none of that was mentioned in the video. He might not had his phone with him during that day 🤔
Thank you for covering this case. This happened just miles away from my city and on the day my mom was diagnosed with cancer, so I remember it so clearly. Sad end to both Sierra and my mom. Sadder for Sierra as she was so young and at least my mom had all her family at her bedside, but Sierra was on her own. May her soul RIP. 😢 🙏 💗
I am from the UK London and to hear a case like this from what looks like a rural area is so sad , poor little girl , you got to imagine how horrific this is , a little girl got raped horrifically by a disgusting disturbed individual , then killed , I feel sick right now because when you see these stories it’s by nature you really think about how it all played out , Rest in peace to the girl life is cruel and unfair and also sorry to hear about that, you know life is a bitch
Adrian, it's always refreshing to see people make the focal point on the victim rather than the perpetrator when covering true crime videos. It helps to rob the evildoers of that limelight that they sickly crave. You have a gift of compassion when presenting these cases, and although it's terrible that these things happen, i'd rather watch it be covered by someone like you. Cheers m8.
It's kinda pathetic at this point since all evidence is pointed to him. If he didn't do it (I hardly believe that) then why stay quiet. It makes you look worse. He's delusional about his innocence and is holding onto nothing. :/
@@louisehudson1915 Exactly. Psychopaths like him get off on controlling others and the location of Sierra's body is the only card he has left in his possession. Nooo but it was the toxins!!! (I’m joking if it’s not clear) The defense is doing their job pulling up the most random of information to try and get their client off. If I were rebutting them I’d get all his neighbors and see how many of them-also exposed to those chemicals-were prowling for and attacking women
This case is so sad as a parent we want to see our children grow and accomplish their dreams. What's worse is that they have not even found a body to give them complete closure. I hope her family finds the strength and courage to continue life and wherever she is that she is at peace.
This case I have known for years, it sits in my mind because the body has never been found. Therefore, the family cannot give their child a proper funeral and burial. I think that is the saddest part for me.
They probably opted for no death penalty because there was no body found. They want him to disclose the location of the body. He cant do that if he's dead. Also there's no motivation for him to do so if he's already sentence for death.
It takes YEARS though before they perform the death penalty. It’s not like he gets sentenced now and then next week he’s dead. They’re also in solitary the entire time. Usually that gets them talking.
@A Whim Away Pretty sure he’s not exactly having an easy time of things while in general population, as “struggle snugglers” like him aren’t particularly well-liked by the other inmates, moreso if their victim(s) happen to be underaged at the time of being victimized. 😒
I lived in Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Jose, and Campbell for most of my young life. I remember when this whole thing happened. It was a terrible thing that happened. Thank you for covering Sierra’s 🕊 story Adrian. I’m from the Bay Area and I remember seeing the search covered on the news! Of course we were all hoping/praying she got home safe… The killer not being willing to confess or tell where Sierra’s remains are is truly cold hearted. I feel for all of her loved ones, especially her mom, I’m sure she may have felt regret for moving to that area… it’s all so sad. Rest on beautiful 💛
"Rest on Beautiful" has to be, one of the most "Heart-felt and comforting" sign offs ever heard...at least for me Simone. I actually had Goosebumps. 💛xx
I still live here and many of us believe that she's in one of our many local bodies of water! She could be in the Bay for all we know. He has obviously done a better job than Scott Peterson. I think Scottie didn't take into account the strong tidal surges that occur in some inlets and oddly enough, not in others.
This case is particularly heartbreaking, Sierra seemed to be a funny, talented and obviously beautiful girl and this awful man not only destroyed her life, but her poor family’s too. As a mom I can’t imagine the pain her parents live with daily. My condolences. I hope someday Sierra can be properly laid to rest.
He must’ve drove east and buried her body in the wilderness or the Sierra Nevada mountains. If they can determine what time he returned home, they might be able to narrow down where he went.
Yeah I don’t think he went very far? I feel like maybe they should have watched cameras of nearby stores and tried to track when his car returned home. I used to live in this area, there’s plenty of stores/homes where he lived that could have provided that?
Love how all stories are told precisely and quickly. I get fed up and close those which trail along like a snail and even repeat details after a break. Well done!

The only thing it did beside nightmares is that I make sure not to act like this with anyone. I'm tired to hear lawyer utilizes this as an excuse for theirs clients.
It's not an excuse, it's an explanation as to how someone can end up like that. Everyone is different and there are different variables to consider - The age of abuse The depth of abuse The length of abuse Personality Possible loving relationships inside and outside of home Etc. We can empathize with what he experienced as a child, while simultaneously holding him accountable for his actions as an adult. Hopefully you have received proper therapy and support. Without it, the nightmare can continue. Wishing you health and happiness.
Yeah, I agree & it's unconscionable. I wonder if his attorney had any children, & how they'd have felt if their defense had actually worked? They'd be watching their children every minute of the day knowing they "beat the system" & got a nasty killer off the hook.
Yes it’s a shame many are abused so early and long in their childhoods. These people don’t go out killing people. The one’s who do know they are having thoughts they shouldn’t have. They don’t seek help and act out on them.
"The pesticide made me do it." The pathetic defense killers make really is astounding. But man, what a heartbreaking case. I wonder, did the prosecutor offer Torez a plea deal in exchange for telling where Sierra is? Perhaps that could have gotten him to reveal her location.

My niece's husband works with Sierra's stepdad and he was one of those volunteers who was looking for her when she first went missing. I remember hearing how her stepdad was devasted by this.
he was accused of molesting I believe 8 / 9 year old friends of Sierra when she would have sleepovers at her home while she still lived in fremont. Different friends at different times! 😢😢 he told police when the investigation started so he wouldnt be one of the accused Sierra would write about it in her journal, she was upset that he had been sent to jail over " something he didnt do " which was found in her journal
That’s what lawyers have to do, even if they think the person they are defending is guilty, it’s probably the worst part of being a lawyer but that’s what a defense attorney does

It's ridiculous how the killer feels justified how innocent they are yet never explains their side. I hope her family gets all the peace they need. I really wish people didn't have to go through this...
I'm thinking he believes it because he sold her rather than actually killed her. He probably would have traded the body location in a deal, had he known where to find it. The odds of her surviving till now are pretty much 0 if so though, sadly.
They either don't admit fault or give terrible excuses. It's laughable whenever they claim it was an accident because if it was, then why didn't they call 911? Oh, you were scared? Not calling is just gonna make you look guilty so it's best to get ahead of it, but of course they usually don't think about that.
I am from Fremont and it was interesting to hear your take on the case. Updates came out so sporadically over the years, it was hard to keep track. Thank you for diving deep into this case and giving us a great summary!

Thank you for all the devotion and hard work you put into all your research Adrian. Could you please consider making a video on the “Kibwetere massacre” that happened in Uganda? Thank you in advance.
Pffffffff with 27 registered sex offenders in that area (and how many not yet caught?), I can imagine that walking to the bus stop every day was like playing the lottery. For Sierra and for other kids who have to do the same.... Everything is just so broken on so many levels...😔
This case hits home! My forensic science teacher was among the crime lab team assigned in this case. The lead investigator sgt Herman Leon was guest speaking in my class about this case. Thanks to this video I was able to be informed before going to class!
Wow. Moved to the next town over from the east coast just as this was happening. I have a daughter who's the same age as poor Sierra. It's so sad that the family hasn't found her remains.
I'm surprised they couldn't track his movments that day to deduce how far he may have driven, therefore giving some indication of where he may have left Sierra, poor girl. His family must have known when he returned home that day.
This was so scary. I grew up in Fremont and was a senior in high school the year she went missing. Certain parts of the Bay Area like Morgan Hill and Fremont are so quiet and peaceful, and as you said, nothing really happens there. Its a place where you feel safe wandering around on your own and as a kid, I often ran around at late / very early hours just messing with friends, never feeling like I was in danger. When Sierra went missing you could feel the shift in the air, it was so disturbing. I still think about her disappearance sometimes, what her poor parents went through and are going through. That sick excuse of a human being deserves to rot.
Hearing these stories is always so interesting, but this one is especially so. I live in San Jose, California which is only 20 minutes from Morgan Hill and 30 minutes from Fremont… literally hit close to home. I was about 10 years old when this happened and I remember hearing about this on the news and everyone being so upset and concerned. Thank you for another amazing video! Edit: I even remember my high school playing against Sobrato High School.
Thank you for covering this case, watching this video felt like a blast from the past. I’m close in age to Sierra, and I remember when all the news coverage was going on. Seeing how he hid the body so well, it's hard to believe this is the 1st & only murder
So true. Considering he's been attempting it since working at safeway 😭 there most likely is more victims.

In my country South Africa, we don't have any system of notification. If a child is absent, they are absent- no biggie.

@@claudiabothma I also live in SA and at my children's school we do actually get a notification if the child is absent, sent via an app which the school uses to communicate all school-related news. I guess it differs from school to school though, but there is that option open for schools in SA.

She had a bright future ahead. I can’t imagine what he did to her before killing her. He and his father don’t deserve to see daylight.

@Zarp Sterr tbh with crimes this cruel, torture is the least they could do. Starvation, isolation, cutting off hands and body parts. With harsher punishment people would be more afraid to break these laws.

My niece's husband works with Sierra's stepdad and he was one of those volunteers who was looking for her when she first went missing. I remember hearing how her stepdad was devasted by this.
😥
I wonder what the story was on what happened with the real dad, and how old the minor was.
Same
he was accused of molesting I believe 8 / 9 year old friends of Sierra when she would have sleepovers at her home while she still lived in fremont. Different friends at different times! 😢😢 he told police when the investigation started so he wouldnt be one of the accused
Sierra would write about it in her journal, she was upset that he had been sent to jail over " something he didnt do " which was found in her journal
Some of the defenses that lawyers come up with astounds me. How can they go home to their families and feel okay?
I thought the same thing. The only chemicals that he had in his body were there long before. Stupid argument.
I so agree 💯👍
they definitely don't have families noone would love such a piece of shit
That’s what lawyers have to do, even if they think the person they are defending is guilty, it’s probably the worst part of being a lawyer but that’s what a defense attorney does
people so horrible things all the time. I cannot understand how can people think that gay people, trans people or homeless people don't deserve to live. It is just people unaware of others experience
She was such a beautiful girl. My heart aches so deeply for her & her family. RIP Sierra, I truly hope you are found & brought home soon.
Good, as always. I always return to your content - it’s a certainty in a difficult time of life (depression, worry for future grandson in utero with issues etc). Your compelling reporting takes me away from this for a while - though the cases are heartbreaking. It’s a life lesson that life is hard. Keep up the great work. Thanks x💙
I’m not a religious person however tonight I pray for you, your family, and your much loved grand child. Everything will be ok. I don’t know how I know that, but, it will be.
You will hold your grand baby and remember this, and I’ll quietly and unknowingly be very happy for you ❤️
Have faith in the universe 🫶🏼 x
It's ridiculous how the killer feels justified how innocent they are yet never explains their side.
I hope her family gets all the peace they need. I really wish people didn't have to go through this...
Disgusting af. Not even taking responsibility for the crimes he did. Shows he doesn't care or regret at all. Monster in human skin.
“People” like that need to be taken out back and put down, or at least locked up for life.
I'm thinking he believes it because he sold her rather than actually killed her. He probably would have traded the body location in a deal, had he known where to find it. The odds of her surviving till now are pretty much 0 if so though, sadly.
@@LilyLovecraft That is exactly what my gut is telling me. Was she sold into sex slavery.
Pesticides?! Wow! His lawyers were seriously grasping here!🙄
Such a sad case and I pray they find her giving her family some peace & closure.🙏🏻❤️
The lawyers were grasping for what they could. It's their job to defend him even if he's a murderous pedophile.
Quite the acting achievement. I mean how do you stand before a judge and deliver that kind of garbage with a straight face?
@@pamelakissel7784
Exactly!😂
This is why lawyers get a bad name, because lots of them have to lie if their patient is guilty. Like, duh, it's their job but seriously. At least make up a convincing lie 🙄
@@falcon_arkaig*client not patient (not hating just correcting)
Whoever's reading this, I pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day!
Thankyou and same to you 💕🌹
Beautiful, thank you, have a fantastic day take care, best wishes from Scotland..
This case will stick to me forever because it happened in my hometown. I remember seeing the missing flyers at intersections and going to the same HS as her (Washington HS) where there is still a bench dedicated to her with her name on it. RIP.
I'm from the bay and was around Sierra's age when she disappeared. This was a weird time for everyone because there was at least someone from your school who knew Sierra and or her family. I remember everyone nervously watching and waiting for any news about her. So sad.
I lived quite near where Sierra’s family lives. (Morgan Hill) The story is always fresh in my mind. The search for her was immense 💔. Back then, I did a lot of hiking in the area. I found myself thinking of her as I walked the trails, hoping to fine either her body or something. The jerk won’t even TRY to bring some finality to Sierra’s family. 😞😢
Binge watched every vid on the channel, now I can’t wait till the next video drops, absolutely love the way you portray the vids 👏🏼
Awesome, thank you!!
The rain was a miracle for her to be found
I'm from the area and the rain was most certainly a miracle. I doesn't rain much in California and for it to be raining in March is almost unheard of.
It’s just disgusting that the victim’s father was a sex offender as well. And this type of behavior would seal her own fate. It would be remarkable if they found a body 10+ years later, but I’m glad there was still justice for her. RIP Sierra 🤍
What's disgusting about that?
I’m confused, what’s he got to do with this? Just because he did a terrible thing, doesn’t mean he’s not allowed to be upset for his daughter. Are you saying this is karma?
@@hendyo_98 He is allowed to grieve for his daughter. What happened to her was absolutely terrible. And I would not wish that on anyone. However it does sound like karma. And it came tenfold for him.
@@jd32k i don’t think I need to explain why being a sex offender is disgusting. She was deprived of a father for being a sex offender and her life was taken by a sex offender.
It’s unfortunate that she had a father with the same sick and twisted actions and fantasies as her killer. As hard as it would be that your dad committed the same crimes as her killer and coming into contact with another sex offender sealed her fate.
What’s the issue?
@@hendyo_98 it would take a sick and twisted individual to say this was karma or vengeance. I was saying that she was deprived of a father for being a sex offender and her life was taken by a sex offender.

There's zero excuse that he or his attorney could come up with to justify his disgusting, destructive behavior. My heart goes out to the family and to Sierra their self. May they be at peace.
Everyone has a right for a lawyer and the lawyer is just doing his job.
If the dude claims he is not responsible because pesticides melted his only three existing braincells, that's what the lawyer's got to go with
It's so sad what these monsters do to our young kids...he totally deserves to be where he's at now...thanks Adrian
Thankfully, the "suspect" is in prison and he can't hurt anyone else. You do a great job of putting your stories together. You're very good at what you do.
You add a touch of class to your channel, with your English accent.
This case is heart breaking for the family. They will never have closure, unless they find her body. Hopefully, some day,
her family will be able to bring her home.
I think it’s an Aussie accent not British 😎
Well done Adrian!!! Thank you for your candor and compassion!!
I was raised in Fremont my entire life and attended Mission High during in 2012. Sierra's case was so closely followed by everyone in the surrounding area and we never forgot her.
your genuine sympathy and empathy that you give to the victims and their families is what makes you special. keep up the good work and thank you for your content.
love your videos so much! thank you for covering such interesting cases and being so respectful to victims :)
Dude, perfectly said…
Only just stumbled across this channel and I’m addicted!!
It’s better than any tv program
Thanks Adrian 👍👍
I love the way you introduces the city so well before telling the story 😍
Thank you, Adrian! Always on time with new top notch content.
Keep up the good work 💯
I can't believe the defense used pesticides caused him to commit murder! That right there would say he was guilty in my mind 🤔
Strange that people living near Chernobyl with nuclear fallout haven't become murderers and rapists. It's such a copout! 😎
Thank you for covering this story. I lived in Morgan Hill at the time of her abduction and helped searched for her. It is such a heartbreaking story.❤️
i swear to god, i am dead serious about what i am about to write. if i could get 1 hour with the bastard that did this, i PROMISE he would talk, and tell us where she is, so the family can get closure for real. i lost a friend the same way back in 2014, and i ended up asking for a 1-on-1 meeting with the guy that did it. within less than an hour, he broke down, and told me everything. i want to do the same for others, so the family can finally get some real closure. i don't write this as a joke or as a pick-me-up for myself or anyone else. i write it because i want to help in the only way i can.
if you ever meet her family, tell them i am so sorry for their loss, and that i truly hope Sierra at least is found, so they get closure. and IF i can help, by god i will do so, no matter WHAT it takes.
I lived there too. Graduated from Live Oak in 2008. We may have crossed paths.
I was living in Pacifica when this happened and remember it on the news. Incredibly sad story.
Thank you for showing emotions and feelings whilst bring light to these cases , rather than just reading it or making it sound like a story
Thank you for all the devotion and hard work you put into all your research Adrian. Could you please consider making a video on the “Kibwetere massacre” that happened in Uganda? Thank you in advance.
I lived in San Jose while this whole ordeal unraveled…..it was incredibly sad to see such a young life taken away so early…
Pffffffff with 27 registered sex offenders in that area (and how many not yet caught?), I can imagine that walking to the bus stop every day was like playing the lottery. For Sierra and for other kids who have to do the same.... Everything is just so broken on so many levels...😔
Well her dad was one of them.
Exactly 💯 dear
So worried about my 12 old daughter 😢
I live in London though
This case hits home! My forensic science teacher was among the crime lab team assigned in this case. The lead investigator sgt Herman Leon was guest speaking in my class about this case. Thanks to this video I was able to be informed before going to class!
I love how you add in the history of the location of the crime it adds so much to the storytelling.
Thank you for covering this. Living in California, I was aware of the disappearance but not the outcome. Well done, as usual!
Wow. Moved to the next town over from the east coast just as this was happening. I have a daughter who's the same age as poor Sierra. It's so sad that the family hasn't found her remains.
That raindrop wow, the universe wanted her found rip😢
Sadly, the universe didn't care about the poor girl not being murdered in the first place.
But they never found her
@@tuwordzzforeya true, but might not have even known who did it if not for the phone going off and finding all the stuff near there

Thanks Adrian.
Just imagine a coffeehouse crimes / Mrballen combined video about the craziest story ever

eww , nah pass
Hell no!
I dunno. They dress alike and the format is similar….but they’re so different!
Mrballen is the shit it would be weird for them to do a collab tho idk how they would pull it off but I’d still watch it
Coffeehouse gang. 🤙🏼
I would like you look into a case called nirbhaya
Too bad the crime has SKYROCKETED fremont has been turning shifty with all the crime here.
I just cannot get over how nicely u deliver the case... Love ur content 😁😁
I hope they bring her home soon. Her case and Sandra Cantu’s struck a close nerve with me as a kid especially since they were both Bay Area cases.
'he had a rather nasty habit of strangling a snake while driving' 🤣 Sorry but that was hilarious. You're great at keeping a straight face while throwing some haymakers.
Adrian, wish you the best, for your family, close friends, and for all your community. Have a great week!
Is it bad to hope that horrible things happen to people in prison that commit horrible crimes like this? 🤷
No, it's exactly what these sick criminals deserve
Not from where I sit. I hope he's done the same way she was every day of his miserable life.
No
No
No they dont. Murderers and terrorists deserve this.
I feel for Sierra's family, the not knowing would be an unbearable burden for them all. I hope Sierra is found for her family to have closure. The chances, Sierra is alive is not promising, hopefully the truth will be known.
Ditto. Usually, loved ones would prefer to know the truth and have closure than to be left wondering. That's got to be hell on earth.
Yes they do
My heart breaks for the family. I hope someday she is found. I don't want to imagine how she must have felt that day or how her family has felt since.
