When Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition launches, it will come with a whole host of changes. These relate (of course) to the visuals, but other areas of presentation have also been improved. There will, for example, now be voice acting and brand new music composed by Kumi Tanioka.
Crystal Chronicles Remastered has also reimagined how the multiplayer experience will work, allowing players on PS4, Switch, iOS and Android to all play together at the same time.

I played this with my brother and sister growing up....Now im almost 30, they just both entered their 20s, and the 3 of us live in different parts of the world now. Really excited this is going to be out this week with the online. The 3 of us pre-ordered this and cant wait to finally play this again and re-live all the good times we had with this when we were kids. This will always be a special game for me.
That's such a heartwarming story, thank you for sharing! I hope you all have a fantastic time when the game releases :) ~Darryl
Hope you guys have fun on your adventures man. wish i had that kind of thing with my brothers
Dunno what part of the world that your Brother and Sister are at. But it should be noted that this games online play is region lock. I too had a good time playing this game with little brother. And I hope you can experience playing this game with them as well.
@@VsaxAlto while this is unfortunately true games themselves technically are not region locked, perhaps if they had a user account from the region the rest of the family is in to use that regions eshop perhaps it could be bypassed?
@@MrStormcloak You can get around the region lock on PS4. You just need to all make an account from the same region. Only problem with this can be latency! But It shouldn't be much of a problem with a FF game.
Actual changes begin at 4:10.
Thank you too many youtubers always talk about air to pad out the run time.
Wish I'd looked at the comments before going through that slog myself lol
I remember playing this by myself as a kid... all these years later, I guess I’ll be going solo again lol...
Silver You’re not alone. I too will once again be playing this game solo
SAME thought occurred to me lmao
We could play together guys 👍 PSN: dre_smacks
If you want, I wouldn't mind playing with ya. Are you getting it for Switch or Playstation?
Look at us banding together! I love the FF community ❤
I was so pumped for this game but now I’m very let down that we can’t all progress through the story together. We have to disband and regroup after every dungeon and can’t play together in the in between areas.
I really Hope Square fixes this, because I truly can’t understand what the point of multiplayer is the way it stands now. Also I would never want to play this story solo, what made it so fun was the co op aspect.
i doubt that anything will change. SE likes to add new things but never really changes stuff already in the game especially because this is just a 30$ niche product
So what's your suggested solution?
@@Webberjo all it would take is being able to stay partied up between dungeons. Why would anyone want to disband or repeat the same dungeon with the same leader?
Webberjo make it so people could actually play on-line in the same caravan, which also mean living in the same village so you can use the family profession system to craft rare equipments and itens. This way everyone’s main story could advance together without the hassle that is the actual bad on-line solution SE put in the remaster.
Lack of local Co-op is such a disappointment.
Discoleumas ok so say that they patch in co op how would you play? you would need a screen to yourself remember the GameCube, when player 1 enter menu the game keeps going, and if you have 2 people in menu how would you keep the game active. you would be blind for players 3 and 4. pausing when one player enters menu, would kill the games pace.
@@kenrulei09 if they brought back offline system link that wouldn't be an issue.
Switch yes but PS4 and mobile?
@@kenrulei09 I know Square is more concerned with profit then quality these days.
Discoleumas every company is this my friend they all care about the money it’s what they do. again this is budget game, something hardly no reviews take into account they act like it’s a full priced game.
Online mutliplayer is also f*ed up.
Party member can only join dungeons, and they need to be in same map area to be able to join(this will be relevant later)...your friends wont visit towns nor be part of events with you and they dont become part of your village.
Further, only Host gets myrr, meaning only host progresses the story
EDIT: Thers a way to avoid having to be in the same.map. but it doesnt save you from redoing each dung 4x. So you get desyncs, but you still.overpower. .
Now... You could theoretically just do every dungeon 4 times so everyone gets a myrr drop... However this will lead to being overpowered really quickly....which personally ruins it as well...
www.change.org/p/square-enix-bring-in-local-and-online-story-co-op-to-final-fantasy-crystal-chronicles-remastered
Ah all the things I was complaining about yesterday summed up
They somehow still fucked up years later when all they had to do was allow local co op
Just finish the story in single player and team up after, when you're just grinding for artifacts anyway. 🤷♂️
@@jensybio Thank you, people be hating befor they even test it.
I haven't been so excited for a game in so long. Can't wait
Two more days!!
same lol, counting the days
One more day!!!
Too bad they completely ruined the game
My brother and I share some of our fondest memories in our childhood from building a makeshift caravan out of pillows and pretending we were on an adventure in the world of FFCC. I have been waiting all year for this game for us to relive those memories; we are now in our mid twenties and are looking forward to making our pillow caravan again and playing on our Switch consoles together. I am so grateful they have decided to remake this and hope many other players can make memories like we did :)
I bought 2 GBA's and two of those unique Gamecube to GBA cables off amazon many years ago simply to play this game with a friend.
I can't, for the life of me, see why you can't just join up with your buddies using the lobby code, run dungeons, get the myrr, and progress together. We've had the god damn technology and programming for over 10 years now. They just simply over complicated it just because they could.
Prease understand
i guarantee to you the reason why the multiplayer was so butchered is because of the decision to also develop for mobile devices, or at least it was the decision to include mobile devices in cross-play. this whole thing is so baffling to me
Having cross-platform crippled the online multiplayer. Cant have in game chat, so cant effectively communicate with other players, making pursuing bonus goals difficult, can't coordinate with other players leading to everyone struggling to follow whoever holds the chalice, cant explain to someone who isnt using a cure magicite how and why they should put it down for someone else.
For reasons no one has been able to explain to me so far, the defend function still has to be cycled to in your command bar instead of being on L2 or R2/L or R, which are unused beyond menus.
Square Enix could probably fix everything but the game chat issue, and even mitigate that by giving the host player a moogle even in multiplayer. This would allow for them to have the moogle pick up and put down the chalice, allowing players to focus on the challenges at hand instead of who has the chalice and where the hell they're going with it. Other players could quickly get a feel for a lobby after that point and could find another if they didnt like the hosts style, instead of stepping on toes. That would allow for people to find the right emotes when it matters too, instead of being corralled forward by whoever keeps pushing the chalice.
I don't know about playing with randos, but with friends you can just get on a group call on your phone/discord. I know it's not quite ideal, but on the other hand, crossplay is the reason I'm able to play with my brother, so I can't say I'd rather have in game chat and no one to play with.
So glad you did this video! Keep the content comin.
You're most welcome Mob! Glad we were able to deliver :) ~Darryl
Haven't had wifi for 3 years, so gaming is limited. Couch co-op gone is a big let down
and that was what i actually HATED about the orginal, was HOW the co-op worked, if it was just game cube controllers. but ALL needed game boys was just fing stupid
Ubu90 Had tons of friends playing Pokemon and lots of other stuff on Gameboys. So having them just bring theirs over while we play wasn't exactly hard. I mean Pokemon alone sold systems back in the day. Unless u lived rural where it wasn't common or something. Gamers usually have gamer friends with similar interests so:... Also I was hoping they'd just allow controller couch co-op. Not a hard thing to initialize (mods already being made) but yea.
So, this remaster bummed me out. I loved this game on the gamecube. Getting all of the letters with my friends, going through the village and seeing our families, and seeing us all in the caravan together. They cut out like half of the multiplayer and made it a segmented experience with the remaster... Enjoying my single player playthrough (as much as I did back in the day), but the best part of the classic let me down in the remaster.
Amazing. I always wanted to finish playing this with my nephew. So excited!
I did not know this was coming out. I will definitely be checking it out. Thanks!
I was lucky enough to play the original with three other people. And it was a blast! I just dont understand why they didnt try to make local co-op work. Like, everyone has a switch anyway right? Just let them connect via local wifi or bluetooth whatever and have the group use characters from the same town. Because as it is you have to play through the game 8 times to max out each character on your own instead of it being a team effort. It loses a lot in that aspect. So it's a different play experience now which is ok I guess.
I'm excited to watch y'all start playing through CC!
Those new weapons are gonna be so freaking neat! I'm excited as hell.
I wish characters that you created to fill town roles joined you on the journey through cut scenes. It always bugged me in the original that you would create 8 characters to fill town roles but none of them would be beside you during cut scenes. It wasn't a problem when your playing with friends, but now they cant even join during the story. It's one of those small things i wished they would have changed so that you actually felt like your traveling in a caravan.
Also it be cool if they join your party that way you can level them up at the same time as your main character and not one by one
@@kyohel3 I completely agree. Some sort of passive leveling system would greatly cut down on extra grinding and actually encourage different play styles. The way it's currently designed I have never bothered leveling other characters because one is more than enough work. It's another unfortunate exclusion that could have made for a much more enjoyable experience.
I still have the gamecube version right next to me in my bookshelf... Can't wait to finally play with friends.
I'm buying a Switch for this game lol, SO excited for one of my favorite Final Fantasy games to get a remaster!
I am so excited for the new version of multiplayer
I was never able to play with friends back in the day, and am excited to finally share the experience
Unfortunuatly, I am super unhappy with the new version of Morning Sky
It was always my fav. and had the perfect atmosphere and timing to set the tone of the game, but the new version feels....off to me
It feels off to you because the timing of the vocals is literally off.
"Deep inside, so silently
My heart will speak"
Each syllable is a whole note up until "will speak" which are both sung as quarter notes. The re-recording has "deep inside so" as whole notes, a whole note refrain, and then si-lent-ly is all half notes. Then "my" is a half, "heart" is 1 and a half, and then "will speak" is quarter notes again.
It completely changes the feeling of the vocal and doesn't even line up with the 1 _ 2 3, 1_ 2 3 percussion/bassline. It sounds horrible frankly. Like a singer trying too hard to go crazy with the national anthem.
I suppose since it's just the intro song it's not that bad, but I would really really really REALLY love an option to change it back to the original music. I am an auditory person and so much of my memories of this are more than just composition but timbre and rhythm and changing any of that is heartbreaking for me.
The Domikonis Im glad to find someone else with the same thoughts Q^Q
Its always been such a wonderful song, and I often listen to it when I am in a depressive mood
I really hope they give us the option to use the original soundtrack
It would make me so happy
Mewgusta I 100% agree! Hahaha
I am so excited to play this with my friends!
(And do a solo adventure too hahaha)
I had to take my headset off for the intro way to cringy for me. I still enjoy the game tho
So no Keiss mimic, but we do get the (ancient) cat girl. I wonder if Keiss and Amidatelion will get added eventually? It seems like the Clavat are getting a lot of mimics. I'm glad for the change, and the updated music. I still find myself humming the intro theme.
Thanks for the info, FFU! Quick question: do you know how it works with multiplayer and choosing family professions? You mentioned that there's a host player who other players can join and play with, take their spoils with them. However, do they also contact their family members? And, if so, what if all 4 players choose to have a blacksmith for their family's profession? I can't find anything on this anywhere online... Thanks for the help!
Great explanation. I was wondering what the new mimic system was. We had the honor of playing the original with the Nintendo SP connected via the transfer cables. It was really one of the most unique co-op games we've ever experienced. Glad they decided to remake it.
Kudos!
My way of playing this with my siblings was to "hot seat" while the others watched. I can't believe that after all these years we'll be able to properly experience this wonderful adventure.
Actually you won't, I don't know if you read how the multiplayer works, but you're better off just playing alone
Keith D. We all live in different states, so I think it'll work out fine :)
This was one of my favorites growing up! I played alone, but it was still a really fun experience!
I remember playing this way back. It was a intriguing experience.
I bought for gamecube this game at launch and I enjoyed it. However, 17 years later, I still don't understanding why I could play solo with a game cube controller and had to put a GBA for each additional player... If I could play solo with a GC Controller, why not the other players ? :-/
I was planning to do a playthrough on Twitch myself when it comes out! Hopefully we can meet up in game, haha
I’ll be playing this alone when it releases in a few hours
I can't wait for thursday.
Finished this game solo and it was one of the most interesting experiences I've ever had. I can only imagine what it would have been like playing with friends.
I'm really excited for it and i know just how i'm gonna play it i'm gonna be a dedicated healer, i'm gonna go from game to game healing people in need and carrying the chalice for them. I play assist mainly on any game i play and Alfyn's story in octopath traveler has also inspired me to help those in need on a game like this, if you see CapnSilver or CapnCSilver it's most likely me doing my best to keep everyone alive.
That's a good idea actually I'm gonna do the same
Wow good idea!
I remember having to play through the whole thing solo, looking forward to finally playing with others 😃
I was playing that mine dungeon with my buddy, just before entering the boss room there's a 3rd player that joined. The camera yeeted at him at the beginning of the room we are currently in, the Myrrh was there and we got teleported to him. We had to rewalk the whole room.
I'm picking it up as well. Never got to play the original growing up, though my best friend raved about it. I'm interested in having my friends play on their phones via the lite edition while I play on PS4. If I get a Nintendo Switch (once the shortage ends!), I'll pick it up for that instead.
Looking forward to playing this again. I only ever played 4 player once w/ my brother and two of his friends or at least that's what i recall, still have my old save files on GCN. Too bad that brother doesn't have a Switch currently.
Is it up for order for the Switch yet? I can't find it anywhere!
So many changes and yet we still have to carry that damn lamp 😫
It would be a complete diferent game without the lamp
Tresande - a moogle carried it in single player. A moogle could carry it in multiplayer too....but it appears they didn’t choose to do this.
@@chadcaughmann7898 ya but the moogle was intended to help a sole player as having to carry the lamp and defend yourself would have been hell, using multiplayer you need to organize well and i really think that having the moogle would be a bit of an issue on multi with whom the moogle would follow
Tresande - you are talking about story. I’m talking purely about convenience. There were several things about this game that prevented it from being drastically better and more well-received than it was. Inconvenient design is basically the root of most criticism.
Yep the lamp imo would of been better to be carried by the moogle in multiplayer this was something ppl complained about back in the day and honestly they could of removed it new players wasn’t going to miss it and sure as hell old players wouldn’t mind it either
Well I am looking forward to playing it casually!
Same... for me, it's just been too long.. I miss the music and the setting. It's some of the best in the FF series, imo..
@@Voeris1 If we're lucky, and the game does well, square will decide to make a new CC game.
(And I don't mean like the other CC games we had, I mean a new game focused on coop, like this one, in a new world, new story, new mechanics, etc. That would be sweet)
@@SchrollShepard I was just thinking about that a while ago... 😊 would be sweet indeed ma fren 🤞
What's the background music in the video?
Never played this game on the CUBE, but a BIG fan of the Final Fantasy games. Just bought it!
So, if I join my friend's party, I can keep the materials to craft stuff back in my hometown/after being done playing with him?
Yes. Though you won't obtain Myrrh, you will keep any items you gain
I'm hyped for this game again, I played it on GameCube a ton, my one concern right now is with the online, I saw reports that it was region locked to only play woth people in your own region, but no clarity if that was random match making or friends included
I own the original one on the game Cube I try to get into it, but how you have to carry around the Chalice with you everywhere you go was such a pain that I couldn't get into it
I’m super excited for this game, when they announced it last year I was stoked. I’m going to be streaming a whole play through with my boyfriend and a few friends as well!
That sounds amazing Kazuma! I hope you all have a great time ~Darryl
It's such bs only the host gets letters and stuff. Proper ruins it.
And no having all four of you in towns
its not really that different then sao: alicization lycoris
its fucking retarded, who paid these game designers or did they not even hire any because that is what it seems like
@@Ubu90 Gesundheit.
Oh man, that's can't wait to play as Layle again. Crystal Bearers remake next?
Will there be different songs for each boss or will they be the same
My daughter and I played the original together, and are planning to get this one as well. I am sad to see that local play between 2 systems will not be supported though, as our internet is not strong enough for 2 systems.
If I heard that correctly, did they say that if one person purchased the game, and others Had the Lite version, there’s a way for everyone to play the full game?
Yes, they can play everything except the final dungeon and the post game dungeons.
@@matthewprestwich3137 No I'm pretty sure he said if someone has the paid version then everyone else who has only the lite version can actuay play the entire game as long as the one with the paid version is hosting. That's amazing!
I'm looking forward to this game, I loved the original but never managed to finish it as I played it at a friends and didn't have a GameCube myself. I think the music and narration in FFCC is some of the best in the series as well, it was great at building atmosphere in the original.
I remember when my bff and I figured out the desert puzzle as young preteens. We were so stoked!
My brother and I got to year 23 and still hadn’t beaten the game. We then got the guide and realized that there was an end to the game and by that time we were so OP that the final boss was easy. Am I dumb or was gurdy/hurdy’s poems not as obvious as they should have been to the secrets of the end game?
P Sai I agree they were a bit more cryptic than other games. I think we made the connection as kids after I accidentally used a spell on something. Then I was like “ooooooh, I think we were told a poem about that”
I think ill just continue to play this on my GameCube
Waiting on my physical copy but debating on double dipping or just getting the lite version and waiting....🤔
Thank You ! Besides CTR Nitro you now have me excited to play FFCChronicles and purchase a PS4 !
I'll be moving soonish so I'll definitely be taking advantage of the better internet and getting this game
Welcome back to CSULB? Cal State University, Long Beach? Is that an actual place or can you name the village?
My friends and drained tons of hours into this game. We are excited to see the old and the new!
Pre ordered, preloaded and waiting.
Haven’t found an official source, but is there gonna be a physical release in NA? I don’t mind getting a digital version but I would really like to have a cartridge of the game
Currently only digital announced for NA, but you can get it imported physically with play Asia I think
It's cool that people from 4 platforms can play together
Wait...! So story progression is not shared when playing online? This means you have to take turns and play through each step of the story two, three, or even four times so as to keep everyone on the same page! This is... awful. How have you guys solved this dilemma if you want to play through the game with one or more friends, from beginning to end? :(
I think I will just buy the game and my brother and girlfriend will play along with me. It sucks that they can’t progress their games and we can’t journey together and they can’t see the events and the story if they are not with me in the same room but at least we get to do the dungeons together? Actually, not gonna lie, this really sucks and I’m disappointed and upset
P Sai nowadays it seems better to buy old GBAs ou DSs, the cables, a GC and the game to play it the way it was meant. Probably a lot cheaper than playing on the newer systems
luckysayshmm funny you say that. I was actually playing on the old game cube with the game boy advances last night! I do want to experience the new levels though which is why I will probably buy the game some time this weekend
Can't wait to play with my bros again considering we're all in different parts of the world
Will the phone iOS version be released on the 26th as well.
Will be most definitely be getting for me my kids and all my friends it's worth it
Not gonna lie I'm a little worried about how the co-op will actually play out. From what I've seen it sounds like when you go to host a room you pick a specific dungeon to do, so does that mean you have to host a new room for each dungeon? If only the host saves progress, does that mean if you're playing with a group of 4 that you have to do each dungeon 4 times so that everyone can progress? I love the game, but that sounds tedious. I really hope I'm wrong. I would think they'd take into account the fact that people will definitely want to play through the whole game with the same group, but Square has made some questionable multiplayer decisions before. I'm reminded of Chocobo Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy on the Switch where as soon as you turn on co-op mode the nice, varied dungeon music gets replaced with one of the most offensive remixes of the chocobo theme I've heard since FF13-2, and there's no way to turn it off.
💯 This!!!!! I can't find the answer to this question. It's so concerning to think I can't go through town and side areas with my friends.
@@nathanarquiette430 Exactly. I'm still excited for it either way. My boyfriend and I both took a day off work for it since we both loved the game from our childhoods, but that kind of thing would really bring down the immersion.
@@Ephelle I know I've been hyping up this game for my friends how the hell is progression going to work if we can share the same story. Will we have to play a dungeon four times each for each persons world? I don't get it. 🤦
Wait till you realize what's required to get the best gear in the game
@@Lorddracodeath What do you need to do? I thought any new gear would just be drops from the hard mode dungeons.
I know in the original you just needed to get an alchemist dad to lvl 12, and blacksmith, tailor, and merchant dads to lvl 3 to get the best weapon and one of the best accessories. There wasn't really a best set of armor in the original, since their side effects ended up being more useful than pure defense in most cases.
I love the aesthetic but only got so far playing solo on game cube. Now I'm adult I have too many things going on for multiplayer, and I don't know if it's the kind of thing you can pick up and play whenever, as cool as it is seeing it on switch. Ah well, still selkies forever!
Do you think we'll get the physical version of the game sometime soon? I'm not too big of a fan of the downloaded games since it doesn't take long for the Switch to get full, to which I gotta archive them, and then later if I want to play them again I tend to have to wait an hour for them to fully download. Plus, I'm a bit of a collector, so I kinda prefer to have something I can display.
Same! Love a good game case. Unfortunately physical copy only releasing in Japan
Wow. They’re really going all out for this. Looking forward to positive customer reviews!
its getting mostly negative reviews though
I was so very excited for this game. I've always wanted for them to bring this game back and lo and behold they actually did! Oh how hyped I was when they announced it. Unfortunately there are some glaring flaws to the current game. I've downloaded it the moment it was available and found that multiplayer is incredibly bad. It's one thing not to share a village with your other players, it's another to not share your progress. Yes, you do receive artifacts to "level up" your characters when you finish a dungeon, but only the host gets to have his chalice filled with myrrh. That means for everyone in the party to progress their story, they actually need to all replay the same dungeon that they just ran, and if you want to do this for all 4 players then you need to do so a total for 4 times, one each for each player that needs to host to progress 1 dungeon. This also means that each player will experience the story "NPC cutscenes" by themselves as these happen on the road and not inside the dungeon. (You cannot join together in the same caravan while traveling, only play the dungeons together and again just to hammer it in *ONLY HAVE THE HOST PROGRESS*)
I'm greatly disappointed at this and I pray for some changes to happen but I doubt at this stage that there will be any.
If you play the game by yourself though, then it shouldn't be a problem. You'll be able to play the game as it was back then. It's only the multiplayer side that has problems.
Been searching for hours for this explanation! Exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you only playing with brother so each dungeon twice isnt too bad. Exact same way dark souls 1 co op is.
@@jhix1816 I think its a stupid design choice but we used to farm those dungeons a couple times anyway sooo... Hope my friends gonna put up with it
The lite version is a really good idea. Growing up I was the only person that knew about this game and telling my friends about it they didn't seem too keen on buying all the equipment. Having a free version to try out the game will def boost the sales even if they only heard of the game and never got around to play it.
When does the lit come out
Sup
I still have my gameboy link cable... I never used it for this game though, because I was the only person in my neighborhood with a link cable....
Was that boss @4:53 new? I don't seem to recall it... but then again it has been at least 10 - 12 years since I've played this game.
that looks like the Antlion-boss in the lynari desert. not a new boss!
@@camelliakitty4358 probably was. I haven't played this game in a very long time
I'd like to pick it up on PS4 and my bros got his phone can play it on so it's something we can keep for a get together over Xmas (hopefully).
I've only ever played CC Echoes of Time in the DS, but never finished it. I never got into CC in general, but might give the remaster a go with the lite version first
Honestly, I would love to exchange friend codes with a group of people and do a full coop walkthrough of this game and just have a good time over Discord or something. Just cause I want to experience the coop first hand and have a good time with other Final Fantasy fans.
The only awful thing about trying to do that is that you only progress your game (not your character) by being the host.
There has been a lot of speculation that you can't play with friends in towns or other side areas only dungeons which will take away from the whole journey experience. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
I think he mentioned it in the video, briefly. The story will only progress for the host and thus I would assume you don't get to see their village at all and only join into the dungeons. :/ I do wish this isn't the case as I want to enjoy the game together with my SO and everyone being stuck in their respective towns is meh. Especially If the town of the person joining never advances and thus you're kind of stuck with a high level/advanced character in a dead and empty town. Maybe jumping back and forth and taking turns in who hosts is the grindy solution to this..
@@ludvera4438 yeah but what about Lite players. Only way they can play through all the dungeons is if they stick with a host that has the whole game. It just doesn't make any sense. Like where when they were creating this do they feel it was a better idea to go this route I just am so baffled. I understand that there's no couch co-op and understand that. But this is just ridiculous if it's true.
Confirmed to be true by now, alas.
Does anyone know if Donna Burke is still singing the English opening? I was really sad hearing that it was being redone, I love that song and don't think it needed any changes. 😣
It is her! They brought her back to sing the redone opening song. I don't know if they are using her old recordings for the game narration or if they made new ones with her, but she's also been doing the English narration for this game's trailers.
I remember getting this but never got to finish it on gamecube.
May get this later if get a spare 30€.
What a pretty way of saying "wed make more money if u all had to buy separate games to play together"
So... Is this coming to the Switch this week. I only see pre orders for PS4.
It is, you just can't pre purchase it for whatever reason
So if it will be with wifi... Lag will be an issue? Thats my greatest concern
Woohoo crystal chronicles, my top 3 favorite ff game 😭
Yeah I never had friends to play with so it was just me and mog(love that moogle) saving a rather empty village 🤣
Can’t wait to see all the caravans, dark knight, hurdy/gurdy and fiona again 😊
You might want to check your information about the light version because they said the final dungeons would not be available on that Nor would the endgame
Every dungeon from the original game is accessible through the Lite version, it's just the final boss that isn't. It would have been worth clarifying that within the video though.
They killed my boy!
The only Crystal Chronicles games I've played were Rings of Fate, Echos of Time, and the Crystal Bearers. So I'm definitely going to pick this up for Switch
You'll probably love it! I'm sold on that I can play as Layle. I grew up on Crystal Bearers!
This is my favourite non numbered Final Fantasy game and I have been wanting this since they started doing remasters. Buying it twice for my girlfriend and I and I cant wait to get back into itl
Damn I didn't even know this was getting a remaster
hey I went to csulb XD graduated the December before quartine started good times
I for sure plan on picking it up on Android when it releases
Got it on preorder for the PS4 =) love that it will be cross platform =)
I only ever been able to play this game alone. And despite this, I enjoyed the ever living crap out of this game back in the day.
I am very excited to get my hands on this game. Be it alone, or maybe I can convince a friend or two to try it out, I'm so excited for the massive nostalgia trip I'm going to get.
If they could change the gameplay , I would have X(ps4) as Attack and Square as your slot commands. That way you don't have to scramble from Attack to Cure during hectic sections . Still loving this remaster
The lite version is so reminiscent of the original how you only needed one copy to play multiplayer this is so awesome man can’t wait
Oh yes, i hope they keep remastering more final fantasy games!
I have been trying to preorder/buy a copy on amazon, but I can’t find one...
japan is the only place getting a physical over here is only gonna be digital
