- Bestselling author and UND grad Chuck Klosterman reflects on his time at the University of North Dakota. What buildings stand out? How did UND change him? Did the Dakota Student change him? And, he also gives some advice for future UND students.
Klosterman was back on campus to give the Spring Commencement address and was awarded an honorary doctorate of letters. Klosterman is a journalist, bestselling author and 1994 graduate of the University of North Dakota.
Growing up in Wyndmere, N.D., Klosterman majored in journalism with a minor in English at UND while writing for the student newspaper, The Dakota Student.
