Installing Front License Plate Bracket Nissan Altima

- The dealer did not install the front license plate bracket so I did. The kit was in trunk but was missing the size M4 bolts. I had some old M4 bolts that were the right size. The factory OEM mounting just screws into the bumper guard. This is for 2020 Altima but I am sure applies to mount many other Nissan models. Attaching was easy with a Philips screwdriver.

Just for reference for anyone wondering about what screw to buy for the actual license plate! I bought mine from home depo metric M6 and they were 1 inch 10mm they have them in the screw aisle in the drawer

I got this bracket but I can’t put it on my grill has to be on bracket how can I possibly fasten the license plate to the bracket after it’s drilled on already
How can I mount my license plate on this bracket if it’s on the bumper itself
Mines came mounted but I can’t get the screws out to put my license plate on it doesn’t anyone know how?
Well none of the parts fit on my 2022. I need to come up with four new screws and wish I had not bought another from my dealer. I got two sets of screws that dont fit anything. They way over charged me for the factory one that (I guess) used to fit that model.
The screws they sold me and ones that came in trunk with the car both are too big to fit in the bracket or the pre made holes on the 2022 grill.
Screws not fitting the brackets that came with the screws is what has me frustrated. I easily found two that fit bracket but then to find two more to fit grill irked me. None of the screws fit anything.
My 2021 altima doesnt have the indention marks to screw in holder. Any ideas where i should drill it in? Dont wanna block censors or anything
The indention holes were very small. I am sure if you carefully mounted using estimation it will work fine.
You don’t need to drill a hole, right? Does the screw go into the indentations with ease or pressure needs to be applied?
I did not drill a hole. I was thinking of drilling a hole but it seemed to go in fine without one.

So, it doesn't make an actual hole in the bumper, correct? Or does it? I'm looking for something that doesn't have me making any holes into the bumper.
You screw into the bumper guard, making holes in the plastic front of the car. The actual bumper is inside and the screws are too short to reach.
Where did you get the plate bracket ?
It was in the trunk of the car when I bought it. The end of video shows a good looking aftermarket bracket on Amazon for sale.
It would be very helpful to know the size of the bolt for mounting the licence plate.
