----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today we're looking at the Embers Top 5 Griddles. This video includes tips about bix box stores griddles, accesories, stand alone cart griddles, and outdoor kitchen flat tops.
#5 & #4 - Blaze, Coyote, Wildfire : blazingembers.com/search.php?...
Trevor decided to group these flat tops together because they are all so similar. These are all freestanding flat tops on carts. While they are all from different brands they are kind of cookie cutter and have many similarities. All of these are really great griddles and be sure to watch out for our Wildfire review coming out soon!
#3 - DCS Griddle and Double Burner : blazingembers.com/search.php?...
This is a unique griddle because it has a flat top and burners on this. this unit is used in an outdoor kitchen function and with this addition you truly get get a full outdoor kitchen. As you can see in our video we have it placed right next to the BBQ and that would be an awesome outdoor kitchen if you ask me!
#2 - LYNX Asado: blazingembers.com/search.php?...
I'm really suprised this flat top didnt make it to number 1. this is the flat top Trevor put into his own outdoor kitchen. LYNX is really cool because they put their famous trident burners in this flat top. Those trident burners get so hot! This might be the best griddle to be inserted into an outdoor kitchen.
#1 - EVO Affinity : blazingembers.com/search.php?...
The EVO Affinity comes in at number 1!! This is the most unique looking griddle because of its round shape. This think looks really high end and would be a great addition to any kitchen. Watch as Trevor cooks up some Wagyu New York Strips on this bad boy!
As always thanks for watching and we hope this video helped inform you on our flat top griddles. As said before, keep an eye out because we have a lot more reviews coming out in the near future.

Great griddle review…and you’re definitely passionate on Evo’s social cooking appliances!
You do a good job with your videos. I appreciate you. Have a nice weekend, Trevor.
Thanks!
Just found your channel and I can't stop watching the videos! I discovered the stunning EVO Infinity Griddle watching, Sam The Cooking Guy. Wow, what an outdoor kitchen setup he has!
Loving your kitchen. Cabinets, shelves, appliances. Any info on it?
Thanks for these videos, they're a wealth of valuable information.
Just got my Napoleon plancha in and can't wait to try it out!!
If ever I get to Colorado, gotta check out Embers. Great vids.
oh yeah! Thanks!
Great video as always! My vote goes for the EVO
Agree!
Your store looks awesome. We need an Embers Living Location in the Boston area!
yes you do!
just had a kitchen built only went with the 24 inch Bull griddle to compliment a 30 inch Bull Angus. Wish the builder had been a little more patient and waited for the 30 inch to hit the market only missed it by a couple weeks and since it took 9 months to do the pool, patio and kitchen I would have appreciated a little more space.
Dang
Do you have a video that shows how to clean cast iron griddles?
no but thats a good idea
Do you guys have any experience with Crown Verity products? I like the full stainless construction and they have skillet add on cover but have a hard time finding any information on them and how they stack up to the brands reviewed on this channel
I have not heard of that
I’m actually a fan of the new Weber crafted griddle with the small grease trap and it’s a decent size. I have a black stone and my dad has the blaze and yes they are tough to keep clean and almost need regular use
thanks for the tips!
I have the Hestan power burner. Do you think the griddle attachment is big enough/good for the price. Considering it. In Cali, but will purchase from you since you do such a great info review all the time. Thanks Trevor… just called the store to see if I’m stock, got vm, will try again
Have a great wknd
Thanks! I think it’s quite generous in size and a great design I would do that for sure
@@embersliving thanks, I’m in, didn’t see it on your website to order. How is best to order from you?
Evo or bust for me after this review. you cooked those steaks perfectly on the EVO. Personally I finish them in the Nap 700 for 4 mins!😁
Thanks!
Have you tested or have any experience with the Le Griddle products?? Really like how they have the cast iron infused back plate on the cook surface.
We havent, but a lot of people have told us to try
@@embersliving Appreciate it - look forward to seeing if you get one to test out.
Let’s go Evo!!
#1 !!!
Just got into griddle cooking (have XL Egg, Bull 40" 4 burner and rotisserie, and pellet smoker) I ended up starting off with a Pit Boss 4 Burner with a ceramic grill surface and have used it now a few times. Easy to clean, less oil butter use (unless needed for flavoring), nearly non-stick and like I said easy to clean, water, easy scrape if needed, one more water cleaning and a light oil. Family is loving it for all meals.
Very nice
Is there any grill accessory that you recommend so that I can use a gas grill as a skillet/griddle? I'm thinking something that goes over the grates. I'm looking the the Napoleon 825 and I don't think that I want to get a stand alone griddle.
yeah Napoleon has a griddle accessory
@@embersliving I just checked them out online. They are cast iron which are nice but I’d prefer stainless. Do you have any recommendation? Thanks
Blaze sold me over the coyote with 20% more cooking real estate & an actual big grease pull out drawer and not just the little front tray.
Very nice
Surprised by this rankings compared to so many of your others / LeGriddle with the cast iron underneath and the very wide area should rank higher here.
Legriddle is good too
@@embersliving Understood - but you're putting it in 5th place and that just doesn't jive with my experiece. Having that cast iron underneath is huge in keeping an even temperature across the cooking surface compared to the other models listed here. Very surprised to not see it at least in the Top 3
How long does it take to cook one side of the wagyu?
4 min
Finally! I’ve been waiting seemingly forever for this one. Question: Construction wise, is there any real difference between the first three and the Lynx? The IR burners on the Lynx are cool, but at over twice the price of the Coyote, I’m not sure I can justify it. Unless, the overall quality of construction is that much better on the Lynx.
I think the way the grill cleans is worth it alone, plus the ability to not have hot spots
Embers~ wow- you madde best ! see you on my side.
Thanks for watching!
Confused - like you - I put a big priority on "easy to clean". The EVO seems like a PITA to keep clean. Why is it #1. Also, an EVO outside of an island makes zero sense - as you so aptly pointed out. That Lynx looks bad ass. I have a Blaze budget 🙂
Why is the La Grille not in your top 5?
I see in other comments the same question. I even cooking with iron below spreading the temp even on grill plus the connection lid are good features. They also offer a larger options.
Maybe in the next video
What about Le Griddle?
Good question
They are solid too, I’d put them in with the coyote blaze and wildfire
No acknowledgment of Trevor’s twin at 17:58?!
Haha
Wildfire...anodized??????
That’s the word!
Why the Le Griddle is not in this list? You sell le griddle!!! I bought one from your store!!!!
It is in the same category as the ones that are #5
Can you review the le griddle?
I bought the le griddle because the 30 inch griddle are too small and le griddle is the only builtin to have 42 inches
FYI: The reward scam that is going around in the comments section has found your page. I received a message telling me that I had won and to text the number above. The channel logo was yours but the channel was not yours. I am aware of this scam so I knew better. I reported them so just be careful everyone. You may want to mention this scam in a video if you haven't already.
Thanks for the tip!
Why do you keep saying skillet? They are griddles.
both
Gas taste's like shit and adds a bad aftertaste.
I think it still tasted good. Thanks for watching.
These overpriced griddles have stainless cook surfaces. Carbon steel is far superior for a cooktop.
Nice
