Israel-Gaza War: Israeli Special Forces Clear Israeli Military Base From Hamas

- The Israeli Defense Forces released footage of their elite Shayetet 13 special forces storming and clearing a Israeli Military Base that got captured by Hamas on October 7th.
According to the IDF: "The Flotilla 13 elite unit was deployed to the area surrounding the Gaza security fence in a joint effort to regain control of the Sufa military post on October 7th."
The IDF reports that during the operation around 250 captives were resuced alive.
Also 60+ Hamas members were neutralized and 26 were apprehended-including Muhammad Abu A'ali the Deputy Commander of the Hamas southern Naval Division.

I bet my balls that these soldiers were shooting randomly and there was no one there and if they really killed Hamas fighters they would have shown them in the video. They did not save anyone because the hostages were taken from there

It is a good build up operatoin for eventually going into Gaza City. I suspect that when this phase of the greater war is over that Gaza will have a resemblence to the City of Berlin as it looked in April and May of 1945. I think the IDF is going to try to limit civilian deaths and casualties, unlike the Soviet Red Army in Berlin back in the Second World War, but like the US has learned many times over since the Second World War urban warfare sucks and you can't garauntee that the affects on the civilians will be minimal. Ask any veteran living about the Cities of Europe, Manilia, Seoul, Hue, Bahgdad, and many others where American Soldiers or Marines had to fight. The IDF of 2023 is going to get bloodied for sure, but I think that like the Japanese troops and marines on the islands of the Pacific and the Waffen SS in the Fall of Berlin Hamas will not give up easily. I fully suspect there will be several Israeli soldiers giving their all for their people before the Battle of Gaza City 2023 ends. I don't expect more than a handful of Hamas militants to survive.
