And this is why travel is so enriching! I always thought Batik was a Ghanaian way of dying/stamping fabric...but now I see that it was invented in Indonesia and traveled across Asia. Love love love learning about the world in this way.
This is one of the reasons we like travel as well. It’s always such a great learning experience. Thanks so much for following along with us on our journey.
Nancy the floral blue dress suited you beautifully it was just sooooo perfect for you Glad you both went on a food tour, and bought special tea and healing oil I , my daughter, and my son we took part in a Hindi wedding in Malaysia the wedding ceremony lasted a week vegetarian food and nearly all the town were invited there were lots of people we wore traditional Indian clothing vited and I love how you share the products with your friends on the ship
Great that you enjoyed the "food tour". In general, these places would sell their stuffs at 2-4x what you can get from outside, but if you guys don't buy a lot, it is fine 😂
Hi friends! Nancy that dress is beautiful. I love that color and the way you paired the belt with it... lunch and dessert looked delicious..continue to enjoy ❤❤
BTW, we were looking at cruise that start from Amsterdam, and lo and behold, found out that in August, you guys will be on the last leg that goes from Amsterdam to Miami. That’s a 22 days journey. It was “cheap” for 22 days cruise, but TWENTY TWO DAYS! Too bad we already booked our vacations for this year and can’t spare any more time to get on this on…..
Those “bubble waffles” are a stable of street food from Hong Kong. It was actually in the name of the shop. It sure have “upgraded” since the time of my childhood. We had it plain (hollow centre) for the longest time, but then people decided to go fancy with it and add fillings.
Thanks for another great video. I had the same problem in Penang before where I wanted a trip to Georgetown from resort and they kept forcing us to stop at shops.
This is not unique to penang, we've had to really watch what tours we take and what they're going to include to make sure that's not going to happen. But many many to operators have "their place" that they take everyone to where they get a little bit of kickback
The bubble waffles look good! Nancy, your dress is beautiful. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks so much for all your kind words, we truly appreciate you following along with us on our journey.

Agree, if you get to a local market it's always much less expensive
Nancy, you look just beautiful! And Mike, I'm happy to see "Mike's Ultimate World Hotdog Cruise" continues!!
Thanks so much. And Mike and I have not run across any hotdogs lately for him to try. We want the hotdog adventure to continue as well!😉
I am still giggling about Nancy’s face with the chocolate ❣️
That durian chocolate is a no go!
That dress is beautiful! Thanks for doing the food tasting for us! I'm not adventurous when it comes to food!
This is Nancy here and thank you for the comment on the dress. And not everyone has to be as adventurous as we are.😉

We are sitting on the balcony answering comments to the video right now. Glad you could see our view
The table system in the hawkers market sounds similar to a pub in the UK with table numbers
I hadn't thought about that, but yeah it kind of is
Love Watching all your Adventures Enjoy lots of Fun and Stay Safe All Ways All
God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks! 🥰

They were very good, thanks for the extra info. That was very interesting
Love the dress Nancy, and those bubble waffles I would love to try one. If I did all the food tours you do I would put on so much weight 😂 have you?
This is Nancy speaking and thank you. Unfortunately, I have put on 15 pounds and I’m working to get some of that off before we get home.😉
They have bubble waffles in the frozen section of our local Trader Joe’s. Maybe I will try them! Thanks for sharing your amazing journey 😊
