I hear that OFTEN from my own family. It sucks. Not gonnna lie! Like, I don't worry about that, why do they?!
Truth you'd be surprised! Once you become pregnant/a mum, all of a sudden everyone has an opinion and wants to share it, with no filter!
A womans body is amazing. You were creating a human for 9 months in your belly. Please do not worry about those comments. It is natural for women to gain weight during pregnancy, and maintain it after pregnancy.
Just remember - you are amazing!

Maintaining it is not 'normal' or a necessity, though. That can be worked off. With her eating habits and metabolism, she'll look just like before in less time than you think :)

But it is not something to worry or feel guilty about. I think that maintaining a little "Baby weight" is completely normal after giving birth.
As I said - she just gave life to a person, it is amazing and all she should think about is their health, not about weight comments and other people judgemental thoughts.

Beautiful story! Yes, everyone experiences the postpartum period differently. Reach out for help--emotionally or practically (laundry, errands, etc.)--any time you need it. Support means so much!

I like the fact you feel comfortable with speaking about getting an epidural. I am a nurse, not labor and delivery, but a nurse just the same. I think that the best birth plan is getting the baby out as safe as possible. Whether you choose natural birth, water birth, planned c-section, or emergency c-section, the plan is to have a safe delivery!! Congratulations on Isaiah!!!! My older sister has 4 boys and it is crazy, but I love my 4 nephews. All the best and may God bless you and all the best to your family.

What really upsets me is how could anyone dare to criticize your body when you were making a baby! A tiny human grew inside of you and for anybody to judge your appearance just disgusts me. You are a beautiful gorgeous women regardless of you body! I'm so happy that you have a beautiful healthy happy baby and that you are doing great! Can't wait for more of the wonderful content that you always put out!

Rachel you look radiant. That glow that you are exuding, trust me, layers of highlighter can't produce that. Stay happy and blessed. People are envious when they find person without insecurities and happy. It irks them, and they will stoop to any level to destroy that. Alas, that is what some people do.

Do a video on baby struggles and how you overcame them! As parents, baby sleep is complicated so please share how and when they slept through the night and naps and teething etc!
My heart melted. Like honestly my heart felt so much joy watching the entire video... I'm 26 going on 27 and I seriously never considered being a mom more than the past year. Sometimes I feel fear for my career and realization as a woman, but seeing you juggle with kids, husband, the house and also your CZcams/ Blog... makes me believe it is possible. Thanks for sharing such a personal journey and I wish lots and lots of blessings for you and your beautiful family ❤️
Rachel you looked beautiful during and now after you pregnancy and were NEVER in any way fat! But I can relate to the stress, my first time I gained 34 pounds. I started at 115 and had never been above 120 in my life so seeing the scale tip up was a struggle. I managed to loose all of it over a couple of years but now we're pregnant with our second and I've decided I'm not even going to weigh myself or worry about how often I eat as long as I'm making healthy food choices. It's tough!
Congratulations Isaiah is beautiful. Please don't put pressure on yourself you look amazing, people can be so cruel. I think it's more unsettling when a Mom feels she has to be in tip top shape 2 minutes after giving birth. I had an epidural with each of my kids and I loved it!! :). Thanks for sharing your story.

Contractions ARE painful. For my 1st baby i asked for epidural 30mins after i got into the labour room. For my 2nd baby, i was more of a wussy. I was already 4cm dilated and had mild contractions but i asked for epidural straight away too. Haha. And where i come from, when epidural is being administered, the husband needs to go out of the room. So it is just you, the anaesthetist and the nurse. Nerve wrecking! Congrats to you and family!!
You look beautiful! I gained 35 pounds in my last pregnancy too, and it definitely showed! But I realized that my body had carried and nurtured another being for 9 months. And I grew to love my body in a complete different way and just take it easy. I'm so glad to hear that you're choosing not to stress over it. No woman should ever be stressed over gaining weight in pregnancy. Our bodies, and what they are capable of, is truly amazing! Congrats to you and your growing family!

Def wait until you have money, babies are expensive as hell.
Sarah Cecilia you don't really need to wait until your rich to have a baby. Honestly, if you think k about it babies aren't that expensive. You technically feed them the milk you produce, you can use old fashioned cotton diapers that are reusable (just wash them and use them again), you can buy milk bottles and breast pimps at your local store for much cheaper and there is always second hand shops for baby clothes, a crib and so on. The truth is having a baby isn't expensive, parents are the ones who end up thinking that they need a whole lot of things in order to have a baby - the reality says otherwise.

Wow! You're delivery was so smooth! I just had twins and had the first one naturally but had to have an emergency c section for the second bc the cord was coming out first. So much drama and the recovery was a nightmare! You're looking great mama! Enjoy that little one. 😍
Congratulations!! I had my 2nd baby ( another girl) 9 weeks ago and I came believe how different my labors were. This one was so much easier. I was having similar stress about my body, but I had to keep reminding myself," you just had a baby and you aren't supposed to be working out yet silly." I am back at it now and feel amazing. I am already up to 5 workouts a week. I think it's the working out that helps me sleep so well. Congrats again!!!

You look amazing! Congrats on having a healthy baby boy. I had a baby 13 weeks ago and I still have 13lbs to lose and I'm not rushing it. I haven't been able to really workout bc I have no family in the state I live in and I have no help, just my husband. But this is my 2nd child and I know when I'm ready I can do it. Enjoy being a new mom again bc YOU really do look great.
