The answer would be great if you asked Apple. Unfortunately, OWC does not support any processor upgrades since they are soldered to the motherboard. We offer upgradability only to Macs that have the capability.

This video was incredibly accurate and helpful. Managed to perform this in less than an hour. You do have to watch which side is up when swapping out the mounting hardware and when you are finished, book up your computer and format the drive from the disk utility otherwise your mac won't recognize it and you won't be able to restore it. Nicely done.

OWC does a professional video of Step by Step Procedures. They have edited the Video and installed the Audio very well. only thing I find that needs improvement is the Background Music it is too loud. With that fixed watching their instruction should be a rewarding experience. As previously mentioned by "The True Fizz" Label the two pairs of cables connecting the display.

This video was very helpful, but I'd like to know why the memory access door has to be removed. It doesn't have any bearing on any of the rest of the steps, and it's a real pain. I don't see anything in the tear-down guide saying it needs to be done, either. So why do it?

First it's easy, then do it from the back, then do it from the front. Make up your mind. PC towers are pretty much the same from year to year sense forever.
