1000 Hours Outside Challenge for 2023

Hey everybody! Today I am chatting with you about the 1000 Hours Outside Challenge and why our family is striving to get 1000 hours of nature play in 2023.
My name is Mindy and I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kiddos (ages 12, 6, 3, and 9 months). I am a former Elementary School Teacher who taught in the public school system for 10 years, but then felt called to homeschool our own kids. This is our 3rd year on our homeschooling journey and we are loving it! I hope you stick around as we share all of our adventures with you!

How many hours have you done? We take a tent and set it up sometimes by the lake and the kids just play camping for hours. Or cowboys, all kinds of stuff. For some reason they play better with it their

@@brendahowell5946 We have a little over 750 hours because my kids have been practically living outside all summer. We are in New York so the temps this year have been great!
