Regardless of what people have said, I think this video is well done. I really enjoyed listening to your soothing voice that went along really well with the pictures and everything. It's a beautiful introduction video for such a vast and ever growing field, which is Oncology. Thank you!
Neoplasia refers to the process of uncontrolled growth that leads to the formation of tumours (also known as neoplasms). Neoplasm is another word for tumour.
Hi Abdullah, thanks for taking the time to comment. Perhaps you could elaborate a bit? Was the content a bit too basic for you? I've included a fairly detailed description for each video so maybe it would be worth having a quick read before watching to decide whether it would be useful to you personally. It is always quite difficult to pitch videos because everyone watching will have a different level of knowledge. This video is really here to lay the groundwork for further videos - it is really an introduction for those who are new to the concept of neoplasia and just the beginning of a series of videos. Sorry if it wasn't ideal for you - perhaps you might like to look further into the series to see if there is anything useful to you?
Oncology for Medical Students Thanks for replying. I was searching around the topic of neoplasia, specifically viruses associated with human neoplasms, and I have stumbled upon this video. It was very basic information about neoplasms "groundwork" as you put it. I don't mean to be disrespectful, and I hope you were not offended by my comment. I fully appreciate your content. I already found what I'm looking for.
We know that in order to call something scientific we have to follow some steps: Define purpose. Construct hypothesis. Test the hypothesis and collect data. Analyze data. Draw conclusion. Communicate results And in the beginning of this video you mentioned something unscientific which is evolution theory
I’m sorry no offense, I appreciate the effort put into this video. But this is like neoplasia for 1st graders. You know how much detail and information med students need to learn, don’t call this oncology for med students. Far too simple. Important information, but too slow and simple to be for anyone beyond high school. Again, I appreciate the effort, but you need to change the title of this video and everywhere that says “med students”
reyana adams the pauses are a quirk of using PowerPoint to create videos. Through experience I've learned how to edit this but you have to appreciate that this was my first video, I'm doing this on my own and these videos are free. I apologise if it bothered you this much but I'll reiterate that this is a free resource that I've created in my own time.

life is too short to wait for like 5 minutes for pause in 8 minutes video.
Clearly not too short to take time to point that out though...
You talk to slow 😭
are you mad to pause so long
