The difference between a Sidewinder and an Automizer are the companies that manufacture them. Automizer is made by Labrie Group (hence, "Labrie Automizer") and the Sidewinder is made by New Way Trucks (hence "New Way Sidewinder"). Design wise, the bodies are very similar. Awesome video! Nice to see Union City hasn't rolled out new black carts to replace their blue trash ones!
Good old Tri Ced! I wish they would have kept the curb cycle system around to this day. In Hayward back in the 90's - 2004 they had older diesel CCC WXLL's and Labrie Top Select trucks. I think dual troths on both sides and had a driver and a helper.
I remember when then Allied, now Republic took the contract from Waste Management in the early 2000's. I hadn't heard of Allied which used to be BFI before the contract switch. @@WMAC_Master
what?! who hasn't?! lol@@fremontgarbagetrucks "WMAC" is waste management of alameda county. they service a bunch of cities including oakland, emeryville, hayward, and albany
Truck 1034 used to be my recycle truck & 1035 did yard waste when i lived in Union City, i have a bunch of videos of them on my page. Never understood why UC had its own trucks instead of having Republic pick it along with the trash.
Oh nice, yep I've seen your videos. I was especially happy to see the ones of the Volvo Autoreach, that's unique. Do you know how many of these trucks Union City has? Yeah it seems like it'd make more sense but maybe it's less contracts for U.C. to honor.
very interesting companies working together lol.
Amazing video
Thanks!

yeah i was wondering when they'd roll out. Tri ced hasn't rolled out either
@@WMAC_Master They rolled out new blue EVRIIs in Hayward right?
@@RecologySpencer only the non OLSD part. I don't know when or if they'll roll out the part with OLSD
Thank you! I agree that's actually why I wanted to film in U.C. now before the AW carts are completely gone.
is republic gonna roll out soon?

Oh damn that's awesome! I know CR&R down in O.C. has dual arms and now San Jose does too!
Great video!! Union city's one of the more unique contracts in that AW does trash an tri ced does recycle and greens.
Thank you! You're right I always thought that was a bit odd but super cool too.
used to be wmac that did trash there actually
back in the 90's

I don't know how any trucks they have. When i lived there i only saw 1030-1035, and this was over ten years ago. @@fremontgarbagetrucks
Have you ever driven a curotto can
No, I'm not a driver (yet) lol.
