In Egypt So many dogs such as German shepherds and huskies are kept outside in the hot sun. These dogs have thick fur and it’s unbearable for them. This is not a humane way to treat dogs.

Dogs have served humans for the last 30,000 years. They save human lives in the military and police, they lay down their lives as search and rescue dogs, the make life bearable for countless blind and disabled people. We owe dogs an immense gratitude that we can never repay. It’s time to start treating them with compassion after all they have given us.

If a dog can be used for hunting , when it retrieves the prey in its mouth , doesn't that prey can affect saliva of dog ?
If it eats it or some of it, the meat of that animal becomes haram as it becomes the food for the dog instead. Since, I dont remeber all the detail, I can only say that I don't know.

Remember that before we eat something, it comes with a process.. the process itself is enough.. if you're hesitating, cut the part which it bites for the dog (its usually the neck)..
No. Many scholar says saliva isn't profane. And it's Parmisible to eat any prey killing by dogs.
Hunting dogs only bite the neck or sometimes the feet (duck etc). So dont eat the area were the dog is bitting. And like truffles hunting dogs the only sniff and bark.

My 13 yr old son volunteers at the animal shelter he loves Animals Mashallah he can tell you everything about all animals he wants me to adopt puppy frm the shelter since am truck driver he knows I love dogs

Here is a story, One day prophet Mohammed claimed he could have milk emerge from the ground, His plan was to hide the milk under the sand and proceed to puncture it with a stick lots of peoples gathered to witness this and he claimed to have done it because he was special. Until a dog dug in and dragged the milk out. Which he then proceeded to call the dog najas(unclean).

Letting dogs starve on the streets or being left to face abuse is surely more wrong than keeping a dog as a pet?
You can help dogs, feed dogs. You can make a shelter/house for dogs (it is actually a virtue) but you just can't pet cz they are impure. If you really care of them you can help them these way.

This is weirdly specific, slightly excessive, and most definitely hypocritical. I don't like it. I could go on for hours on this. Respect your animals, don't be too weird. Take care of your home and family. Allah knows all and sees all. Most definitely doesn't take away rewards from those who keep dogs. Not here nor in the after life. I, myself, am most definitely an elementary Muslim some would say, as well as having the proper knowledge, from a dignity standpoint, to not just "get rid" of a dog. Especially a companion dog. Isn't that why people started domesticating dogs in the first place?
Imagine you are spenting these words to Prophet Muhammad (s)'s face. Hypocritical? Astaghfurullah. There are many hadith about, dogs are najs and keeping them in house is not permissible. Islam based on Qur'an and Sunnah. If you are not using that animal to protect your sheeps etc. this is haram. Would you keep a pig in house? No, it s najs. I was smoking cigarettes when i was in college and we were saying "Well this is not haram, but makrooh". That was my ignorance. No brother. If you will keep your dog, at least say "i m committing a haram, because i used to keep this dog and i love it. May Allah forgive me". Don't be arrogant against religion.

I don’t think it’s permissible to be in the buying and selling of dogs. But you can build shelter for them and feed them outside of your house. You can’t keep them as pets.

There is a whole lot of animal cruelty associated with factory farming. Animal cruelty is forbidden in Islam.
@@Randomness1214 but halal meat is factory farmed. So are eggs. Animals are transported live in death ships from as far as Australia or Brazil to the Middle East. Many animals break their legs en route or die or eat their own excrement. Yet this meat is still sold as halal. I have seen with my own eyes at a port in Turkey. I don't get it

This is not in the quaran. These are some scholars who wrote this. Muhammad prayed around dogs in Medina. One of his wives had a dog as pet she had puppies. These anti dogs come from pre Islamic Arab mythology. The religion Mohammed belonged to before Islam. The dog was considered unlucky.

It's better to be a sinning Muslim than a non-believer who follows their desires and rejects the Holy Message. If you know Islam is true, then you must move past your desires, and that can take time. None of us are perfect, but if your desires are stopping you from becoming a follower of the Truth, then I fear for you my friend.
For Allah says in His Holy Book the Quran; "Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allāh has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allāh? Then will you not be reminded?" 45:23

When you're keeping a dog as Muslim, you're sinning & Allah will forgive you. When you're rejecting Islam (despite knowing its the truth) Allah wont forgive you even if you dont have any dog.

Please do not let any sins take you away from Islam. All shaytaan (Satan) wants is to get you out of Islam, not the direction to Islam. Basically, being a non-Muslim after knowing the Truth.
I have seen way too many mistakes Muslims make, and non-Muslims considering about Islam - they think "because of this sin, I will not be a good Muslim", little do they know that the only sin that makes you a non-Muslim WHOLEHEARTEDLY is associating partners with Allah - which is shirk (polytheism/paganism for that matter).
So, please, do NOT let any major sins and minor sins make you leave Islam. Everything takes time - giving up a sin that you love doing is not easy - I know what you mean, I've experienced this MANY times. I have so many addictions I won't name, and it's very hard to get rid of them. But I know, with my conviction, with my willingness - that I won't give up, and I know Allah is capable of forgiving me. He is Most Merciful, I mean - the moment we UNDERESTIMATE His Mercy, is the moment we are doubting His Mercy, and that is very haram (forbidden) to say it.
Take a moment to read what the the Creator of all the Heavens and earth has to say:
Qur'an (39:53): Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
So, please, do not let sins throw you away. Become a Muslim, everything takes time - you're not perfect, and neither are we all. Baby steps, slowly but surely, you will become a strong Muslim. You will make the best decision of your life when you decide to become a Muslim - you'll know this many weeks/months/years (or however it may take) later. You'll look back, and you'll be like "I'm so happy that Allah has guided me to the Truth. I do not regret that decision at all. Alhamdulillah (all praise be to Allah)!"

I used to work at the so called humane society in Arizona it is hard to talk about the cruelty I've seen so please just take my word no animal belongs there. God gave us certain animal's for our pleasure. When you make decisions follow Jesus and do what Jesus would do before you obey man and rulings made by man. What God made clean is now clean.

Our prophet SAW gave only a couple of reasons to keep dogs. Nowhere did he say anything about guide dogs. People make that part up. It's just an opinion. Dogs can be kept for hunting and for protection. And they can never be kept inside.

They have found people buried with their dogs from 20,000 years ago. They are man's best friend from the animal kingdom. They give companionship and love to people all over the world.

I always reply with, "No! He is my best friend" When they say "why do you let him walk in front of you not on leash"? I reply with "that is my male guardian"! " Do you put your father, husband or son on a leash"? So my best friend Napoleon is my male guardian, protector and beautiful soul worthy of my care. He has saved my life, more times than I can count! I am grateful that I have him and even more so since I have lost my brother (RIP). Someone who has given me so much comfort and protection and love would never be traded for anything in the world! And if that is Haram, so be it! That is between Allah and myself alone.

Lols as if the modern world has hunting grounds. You want to use the dog as security guards but you consider it unclean, you do not touch it, you do not let it come inside your home even during extreme cold or heat, where is the logic?? Thankfully there are other religious groups who views dogs very differently ,with them, dogs find solace that they so deserve.

My dog is the best person I have ever met on this planet. He is honest, and he is the only creature who truly knows how to love without conditions, the way Allah loves all of his Creation. But a dog will also let you know without being ashamed that you are wrong! They are beautiful wild animals who will raise a human baby dropped in the woods instead of eating the baby in the coldest winter while they may be starving. And if you read DOG in English backwards (right to left)....

good for you. there are also many cases where dogs hurt children. So your emotional sentiment is irrelevant objectively. Allah knows what is best for us. Also usually people who have dogs as pets, particularly in the wealthier nations, spend so much money on dogs and treat them like humans. I'm afraid that's not right, a waste of wealth, exaggeration in behavior. this is not affection, it is an obsession. Treat things according to their status. If you have a pet dog or a cat, feed it, take care of it. No need to obsess over it to the point that you prefer it to humans, you start to love the pet more than you mother,father,siblings. Peace
