  • We use the latest generation of FLYSKY 2.4GHz RF module FRM302 , with Paladin PL18 , FTR16s mini FPV receiver & flysky maple antenna to carry out this range test.
    What will the range be? we will wait and see.

    This is incredible! Flysky is beating everyone else while using 2.4 GHz. That's insane.

      In my opinion it is based on SX1280.

      Still alot of unknowns. It's certainly a LoRa based transceiver. It seem like it will provide long range low latency transmission. Something Crossfire only does in close proximity. However Crossfire can go just as far with with less transmission power because of the lower frequency. I guess this would be good with a 1.3ghz vtx although I hear they still interfere with the GPS modules. Not sure what to make of the FRM302 and where it really fits in. Hopefully someone like Joshua Bardwell gets one to review.

    thanks for the great video... We have about 200 pcs AFHDS 2A receivers in stock, I've read we can use it with the FJR2 + FS-RM003, that's a shame it's not included with the PL18 or built-in... anyway, the question is, the connection of the external module as flysky or any other multi-module will be via PPM or SERIAL? will the range/respond will lack in performance? and how about battery life with the module? thank you

    Hey, really great video! I have the same PL18 and FRM302 at the back if it bound to a FTr16 Rx. How do you adjust the FRM302 power, as pressing and holding the blinking button does not seem to do anything? I can't get it to show me the power level with yellow blinking light.

      Looks likes it is on autopilot, 2W output is not legal in a lot of the world. Also, at that output it will probably shoot down all other 2.4g radio systems if used in close proximity.

    Are you using an external battery for the module? What is the transmit power?. Why not develop your own 900mhz system? Too much interference from GSM cell towers? Highly doubt the stock NV14 is capable of powering this from the Jr bay. So many questions...

    • @FlyskyRCModel
      @FlyskyRCModel  Před 4 lety +1

      I know your doubt, we will upload more videos about these.
      1 we use the external battery when take this video(PL18)
      2 transmit power is 2w
      3 the Anti-interference of afhds3 has its advantage, we will upload more test videos for everyone.
      4 use with nv14, it depends on transmitter power you choose, we suggest use external power when you choose the high level transmitter power.
      Any questions you can write here, we will reply you ASAP.
