    Great job! I’m currently doing the same thing on a 77 Camaro that my son bought.

      Install with self tapping screw first and tap it with the hammer/dolly to set it in place correctly. Then make sure your taillight, bumper and spoiler fits correctly before welding.

    Hell yeah dude it’s coming along well. Love to see you teaching your boys about cars. I think that thing would look bitchin in a deep wine red metallic color.

      @@MassProject are you doing a restomod or all original

    • @MassProject

      Still a carb engine. 383 +/- 500hp.
      Th350 rebuilt with shift kit
      Doing the mechanical side right now and then the body will follow.
      Was debating between the SBC or LS engine. Next project for the LS

      @@MassProject I would definitely go with an ls engine man. I’ve got a 96 s10 that I’m dropping a forged turbo 6.0 in front of a 4l80e in right now. It’s so much better with the efi not only because more power but drive ability. You can make over 500hp and still get 20 mpg and not have a problem every time you go to take it out. It’s more expensive but you pay to play.

      I grinned the tail panel off after cutting it. It took a long time. You need patience.

    Great work. I'm just starting my project and I'm having trouble finding all the welds on the outer panel. Do you have any pictures of removal? Thanks

    • @MassProject
      @MassProject  Před 2 lety +1

      They are hard to find, not sure I have picture of it when I removed it. That was 20 years ago. In some location I just ended up grinding the old panel off. When you see the metal changing to the blue colour it very thin and you can rip it off.
