- The Terraria bow everybody should be using... The Pulse Bow. With so many different amazing ranged weapons in Terraria, finding the perfect one for your place in progression can sometimes be tricky. Today, we take a look at one of my absolute favourite bows, that if obtained as early has possible, will be an absolute carry up to Golem and maybe even beyond! Enjoy!

Its seems like such a cool weapon, problem is its locked behind the hardest boss in terraria, sleeping in a bed for real life hours waiting for something to happen
I have 800 hours on this game and I've only seen this bow once, and i wasn't even playing ranger
I love this weapon, I used it once back in 1.3 in a bows only playthrough and it carried me to cultist
So broken if u get lucky. Post mech weapon that wipes golem is crazy
my first insane moment was rigging up 2 unicorn statues to timers in a box they couldnt jump out of and firing the pulse bows at the walls so they bounced over and over to kill them so fast

I recently did s bows only run in expert mode and this was one of the most important weapons in the playthrough. Its bouncing projectiles and performance in closed spaces carried me through Plantera, the Post-Plantera dungeon, and Golem!
Maybe I would use it

I remember getting a pulse bow for the first time I loved its crowd control capabilities, and then when I reforged it I got unreal first try, instantly became one of my favourite bows in the game
I have like 1500 hours in this game and I have literally never seen this bow, it's so comically rare
hella underated weapon
I always see this in the shop, buy it, mess around with it and sell it.
I will use this when I stop being addicted to using guns
high base damage and ability to wear 3 magic quivers makes this weapon aa beast, especially since its post-mech
I find this funny to see in a video now. It has always been my go to on all of my ranged or bow only playthroughs when possible.

I used this bow when I was a noob and I didn’t use classes, I just used random weapons lol
I love these videos! They are the reason why I get items I normally wouldn't use in a playthrough like the Spore Sac, Demon Scythe book, and even the Axe of Regrowth. You should cover more underrated pre-hardmode items and show their true strength.

I find all of your videos so entertaining and I always get your videos in my recommended whenever I am in one of my terraria “phases.” Since I aspire to improve with video editing, I’d love to know how you make that really interesting intro that you have in every video with the text that gets slightly spaced out over the span of a second or so. Again, love your stuff!
I used it in 1.3 against OOA, by far the best choice for rangers in that event although it might struggle against post-golem with the slight nerf.

I absolutely LOVE this thing, super fun to play around with, amazing against plantera and golem, and the no gravity makes it great for aiming
I loved the pulse now in some of my first playthroughs, I usually start a new playthrough before Plantera though.
I need to test this bow out
If I didn't love launchers so much to typically grab every good one at this point in the game (including the flamethrowers that I think handle crowds and groups just as well as this) I'd probably go for this thing more often
This bow is insane, it's one of my favourite weapons, only behind shadowflame knife and the shadowflame lamp
i was playing with my friend and he was going bow ranger and a merchant was selling the pulse bow so we tested it out on duke fishron and were absolutely blown away
I used to main this bow back in the 1.3 days. This agaisnt duke fishron was breeze
Got this early in my bows playthrough. Felt so lucky. In the end it is suplanted by the beast that is stake louncher and tsunami and friends, but quite a great bow that can wven help the farming of those other bows.

the only thing i dislike about it is that i just prefer the chlorophyte shotbow due to its larger hitbox, not that its bad i just prefer chloro

I remember when this thing was talked about a lot cause of how powerful it is and I’m shocked it ever fell out of favor - might just have to be due to the luck required to get it.

It’s a pretty good bow, but the potential rarity and plethora of other options like many other weapons in their respective tiers make it hard to specifically seek out.

I only use bows to shoot jester arrows so I can see when I'm exploring

From my testing it works pretty well on normal mode, however with the new changes it’s a lot less effective against Duke on expert mode and beyond. You basically have to kill him VERY quickly caus he deals waaay to much damage haha
Honestly, there should be an item, that lets you summon the traveling merchant at will...
For an appropriate price tag.

Imo it could just be crafted from shroomite, or some other bow combined with shroomite, cuz lets be honest, its pain in the ass to get this glorious weapon from Merchant.
why would you use the pulse bow, at the point you get auto hammer you can get sniper rifle, and if you are so down bad for bounces you can use metheorite bullets
