The first minute, you would be forgiven to think that your stereo was too quiet..so you put the volume up😄😂🤣🤣 only to find that The Pumpkins are the most deceptively heavy rock band ever !!! Your speakers explode...but your happy, you've never heard anything like this before. 1995'....me I was 15 😊

This is one of the best songs by SP. It means so much to me ever since I was a teen. I cried when they played it live, I cried when I listened to it during lonely nights. I never know if these are tears of happiness or sadness, or perhaps both. This is what music should be.

I'll never understand why they didn't release this as a single. Its the best song The Smashing Pumpkins ever made.

the first time i got high i was at a small basement party. I had given the mellon collie CD to my friend as a farewell gift as we left for university, so we played it on the stereo as everyone chatted and ate and reminisced. i was blasted when this song came on, I remember saying it felt like it was an hour long. but i loved every second of it. I don't think weed will ever do that to me again, but here's to adolescence.

I remember back in 1995 I was 18 and just bought this album and I was blown away. Remember the evening I bought the cassette tape and popped it in my car. Leaving work. I so miss the 90’s and being young, hip, and healthy.

  • @SamTheWhiteRabbit

This album actually saved my life. I'm 35 years old now and it's my go-to every time I'm in a despair pit. Hasn't failed me yet.

“And in my mind I’m every one of you. You make it right. It’s all alright. You make it right”. Chills.

Nine minutes of absolute art... I'm surprised that I can still remember the lyrics.

Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness is my favorite SP album. It's thick like a classic piece of literature.
