Manta at SeaWorld Orlando is a flying coaster designed by Bolliger & Mabillard. The ride, which opened on May 22, 2009, is themed around rays, particularly manta rays. Riders are seated in a prone position, facing downwards, to simulate the sensation of flying like a manta ray. The coaster features a combination of twists, turns, and inversions, especially a pretzel loop, which provides a unique and thrilling experience. The ride also includes water elements, where it appears that the coaster car "skims" the surface of the water, adding to the immersive theme.
