The private beach resorts are cheap and you can easily get cheaper beach resorts here.
Water sports at devbagh beach are very famous but you can try water sports at tarkali beach and malvan beach also. Scuba diving near sindhugarh fort is very famous here.
Tarkarli is surely better than Goa . There are so many beaches which are better than Goa. In 2008 i had been there for 3 months for work in amison fisheries. We used to go to the beach daily in the morning and evening. Also seen devbaug and sindhudurg fort built by chathrapati shivaji maharaj.
At that time there were no rush and domestic tourists were only used to visit.

Ohh, no i think because of commercialisation, no jelly fish or even matter other sort of fishes come nearer to sea shore/ beach Mr. Nair.

Hi Kamlesh, see budget depends.. thoda offseason hoga uss time toh acha resort thoda discount pr mil jayega… I stayed in Visava resort Rs3500 per room.. jisme 4 log accomodate ho skte h easily… and seafood apko bhot restaurant mil jayenge.. price normal hotels k 1000-1500 se start ho jayenge

How do you travel to kudal from Bangalore or Mumbai oe Belgaum you have not mentioned that secondly you have not shown the room of resort and also mentioned the name. It would be helpful if u update these important things
You can reach by road or by train easily, I travelled mumbai to kudal by train, room i can say easily accommodate 4 people - Resort - Visava

Like how many days you were there and day to day planning
Yes 3 days ka trip tha.. 1st day we reached, we spend our whole day on beach and resort( relax day) , 2nd day we went for scuba and other water activities ( you can get a good package of all these from nearby areas of resort) and on the 3rd day we went for sunami island, dolphin spotting etc.

I booked water sports package from a local vendor ( offline) near resort only, resort name is Visava
how did you travel from resort to sindhudurg fort, tsunami island boarding point etc? we are also planning to go by train, but unsure how will be travel local in malvan tarkarli devbag etc?
There are 2 ways.. either you rent a 2-wheeler or take autos from resort. Locally best thing is to rent a 2-wheeler Shalaka.. vrna autos b easily arrange ho jate h .. resort valo k paas auto drivers k contact hote hai

I went there in march end only.. so I can say weather is little hot.. not so humid at that time… i can say this is one of the time to go there…

3-4 people can stay in one room, kolhapur to tarkarli around 5 hour drive
But the place is malvan-dandi beach...
