- The notorious N.W.A. group consisted of Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins), Eazy-E (Jason Mitchell), Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), MC Ren (Alldis Hodge), and Dj Yella (Neil Brown Jr.). Eazy-E's iconic record “Boyz-n-the-Hood" puts the N.W.A. on the map and music manager Jerry Heller (Paul Giamatti) wants to represent them.

Film Synopsis:
Straight Outta Compton tells the true story of how five young cultural rebels - armed only with their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent - stood up to the authorities that meant to keep them down and formed the world's most dangerous group, N.W.A. And as they spoke the truth that no one had before and exposed life in the hood, their voice ignited a social revolution that is still reverberating today.

Take these with you, Cube.
When Eazy-E put those glasses on the rest was history.
But when he put the gloves on with the shades it was legendary history 💯
When Them glasses go on just hit different it was history when the gloves went on that shit was mega hard
I came out the womb rapping this shit😂
The casting was so perfect in this film, literally every actor done justice to their characters. The resemblances were brilliant.
PHUC NO--I hope you young, to justify that BS you just said; otherwise, you on my list. Ice Cube's son growing up rich, and acting rich was nothing like IC as a young kid, EASY--OMFG, fakest fool ever, and DRE, do not get me started.
You better be born like 1998/later or some BS
Pretty sure ice cube is played by his son which you always love to see
The way g a yass dre tells the story...you d ick head
Maybe I'm forgetting things but I don't remember Dre being tough and getting into Suge's face like what the movie portrayed
@@christiankarlkarganilla2763 yeah that scene came straight outta dre's imagination 😂
This movie was great. Greatly acted, greatly written. Just a great film. Rip Eazy!
Rest in peace
Other than them trying to make it seem like eazy went broke
I could never get by how much of a woosie Easy seemed to be. I could actually seem him coming out of the closet as he lay on his death 🛌 🏩. Probably asking to try on little Cinderella slippers as he closed his eyes 👀 😅 and said his final 👋. Everybody with little fa. 😭.
@@cjjones9822 that and they made Jerry Heller to look a lot worse than he was. In poor taste aswell as he had not long died either before or after the film came out. If Jerry Heller was such a bad dude Eazys daughter wouldn’t consider him like a grandad 🤷🏻♂️
@@apjmeredith dre and cube got greedy
When Lonzo screamed NO YOU GOT IT! I hollered😂😂😂😂
When this came out I laughed so hard and I went to go see it 5 times everytime 😂😂😂😂😂
Hell yeah. 😂😂😂😂
“Dre, you know this aint gon never work 🤪”
"You got a '64?"
"I don't have a car."
Straight Outta Compton is the second best rap movie behind 8 Mile the performances of O’Shea Jackson Jr as Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr.Dre and Jason Mitchell as Easy-E are something great
All Eyez On Me, Notorious, and Surviving Compton are all mid if not terrible.
All Eyez On Me had a good ending tho.
Straight Out of Compton is better than 8 Mile IMO. 8 mile was good, though.
@@flossondatrack8861 Is just that I’m a Eminem fan in rap music

Loved hearing N.W.A bumping through the theater speakers 🔊
I remember going to see this movie in theaters twice one night with my family the next night with my friends this movie was definitely that good to see twice back to back
I remember seeing boys in the hood in theater, in a actual hood, 12 y.o., and was so high from all the blunt passing I forgot the first half. Yeah real hood era; not this fake movie star's son acting bs. You do know this movie is fake af right????
@@edition-deluxeYea but it still has a good bit of the true story
One of the best films from the last decade.

"no disrespect to you eazy, cause I know you real" 🤣🤣🤣 bruh had to check himself before he wrecked his self
i see what u did there :D
Gives goosebumps when he hits the line right for the first time
Went at 17 to see this on opening night and I live in the hood; the theater smelled like weed and popcorn!
lol
I was 17 when the song released. It was such a comment of rage and frustration and the album was a wake up call to all of the USA to what life felt like in the hood. Sadly, instead of it waking people up, it got glorified for profit instead of being used as a tool of engagement for positive change. Somewhere along the way, the progress in civil rites made through the 60s and 70s got hijacked for profit and we ended up with woke culture and black poverty instead of better outcomes for the grandchildren of the revolution.
@@dyrtybarstud5261 nwa lyrics are so raw and powerful at the time some radio stations hated playing west coast gangsta rap especially during the early 90s; opening night it felt like everybody put their guns down and just went in high a*f to enjoy the movie as a stoner like Eazy I was stuffing my face with popcorn and BIG a** smile across my face
@@Diegoo98 I love that people did that all over the world. Eazy and NWA were and are iconic players in music and culture. I just wish that everyone could and would put those guns down in the hood more permanently where life has only become harder and deadlier since NWA exploded onto the scene with their real talk style.
I remember seeing boys in the hood in theater, in a actual hood, 12 y.o., and was so high from all the blunt passing I forgot the first half. Yeah real hood era; not this fake movie star's son acting bs. You do know this movie is fake af right????
Ice Cube: Write the song cube, Stfu Cube.
Eazy: Take these with you Cube.
This always gets me 😂
"I don't have a car!" gets me everytime! Also "You're being a kinda ho Eric!"
I don’t now why but I love seeing the records being made packed and sold. And people talking about it it’s a excellent touch.
I grew up during this time period and it was a huge influence on my life. Takes me way back.
Dre: you got a '64?
me: nah, I got a bike with christmas lights so cars can see me.
😂😂😂😂😂
Deebo: DAT MA BIKE PUNK!!!!!!
😂😂😂
First thirty minutes of the movie felt like an N.W.A. movie but right after it was the Dr. Dre & Ice Cube story and made Eazy-E a side character in the main arc... Terrible decision
Yeah definitely. Like easy got left out for 85% of the movie
@@CactusInsane I'm sure there was allot of stories with Eazy but they left out the importance of him actually being a businessman, signing Above The Law & Bone Thugs and Real Compton City G's...
Barely talked about how he screwed over Dre, his feud with Dre, and his solo career.
They can’t go over everything. That would be a very long movie.
True but to be fair NWA didn't last that long in real life.. Cube bailed not long after they dropped SoC, and the group only released one other album after that (good but nowhere near as groundbreaking as SOC).. Just as important as the group itself was the fact it acted as a springboard for the solo careers of Cube Dre n Eazy-E..
My main complaint is the movie COMPLETELY skipped over the Eazy vs Dre beef.... Huh wonder who made the decision to leave that part out 😂🤣
this was def one of my fav scenes 😂😂
Now I'm feeling the need to go home and watch it again 😎
That song made history

The best GOAT movie 🍿🍿🍿🍿
I wish I saw this in theatres.
Eazy was the reason I started rapping. LLEW
If Jerry was never a part of the story, who knows maybe Eazy would still be alive, Suge would probably still be a security guard at the club, and death row would've never happened and maybe Tupac would still be alive. Idk about Biggie though, because I'm sure that hit on him was not coz of the West Coast/East Coast beef. It's just people in the wrong place at the right time. Just 1 man changed an entire future.
Tupac and biggie other way round, Tupac was killed because he annoyed people earlier in the day biggie died in retaliation to tupacs death
