- When someone truly cares about you, you should let them know. She/he/they deserved to know. If not, you're making him/her/them feel bad and useless...

Chris is a wise man.
Eda and Raine knew each other since they were Luz and Amity’s age, and only 7 months after meeting Eda got cursed, most of the time Raine knew Eda and possibly the entire time they dated her they were being lied to and pushed away by her, it was years of trying to hope things would get better and trying to help her, but she wouldn’t let them so they realized it would be less pain in the long term if they didn’t date anymore.
That's right. Eda blamed curse that the people who loved leave her, but true is that she pushed the love ones away.
This is the most confusing comment. To much use of the word they. You may have to swap out some they for the name of the person you are talking about to make it understandable.
@@ms.honiqualisha4529 raine is the only person with they/them pronoums but your point still stands
@@ms.honiqualisha4529 it’s not really confusing, Raine is the only one who uses they/them pronouns and context makes it pretty easy to tell when they’re talking about an individual or the couple.
Eda and Raine did not date
At least Luz told her lover the truth right away instead of constantly hiding it. Makes Luz and Amity’s relationship more healthy. I just hope Eda can get back with Raine before this all ends.
*UPDATE: Raeda is back together and are married in the series finale!*
If they don't, I shall cry.
Well not *right away* but still very quickly, which is good pace for someone her age
Not right off the bat but it was progress.
I want it whole heartedly
Well, Luz had more time to get used to her grief, while Ida is not just worried about the curse, but also has a traumatic experience of hurting those who she loves.
Eda pleading with her younger self to just talk to Raine is my favorite Eda moment; she's grown so much.
Like substitute mother, like substitute daughter!
And they truly are very similar characters in their optimism and free spirited energy! I love both Eda and Luz! Awesome characters!
You do know a surrogate mother is someone who gives birth to a child that's not theirs, right?
@@SmoLollipop I know. But for here, I meant surrogate as subtitute. Maybe I should put substitute instead idk.
Like mother, like daughter?
No. The whole video was comparing Lumity and Raeda’s relationships. They’re different because Luz told the truth and Eda hid it. They’re not similar.
@@Araxijiro I mean luz changed where Eda didn’t
@@Araxijiro They are similar, Luz is just choosing the better solution in the end. They can be similar and different, Luz is just the better version.
Like mother, like daughter I guess. But at least Luz did tell Amity what really bothering her, so their relationship is still healthy. While Raine and Eda still need to sort things out one by one in order to get back together
Both Eda and Luz have a hard time in opening up with people, which pushes everyone away. The difference is that, Eda is a grow adult, she probably didn't want to worry Raine with her issues thinking that she could deal with them on her own, which made her lose them. Now Luz on the other hand, is a child. She didn't want to kill the mood or ruin the day for Amity, so she didn't bring her dad topic up. Eventually she realized that it wouldn't be good to keep her pain to herself, so she finally opened up to Amity.
Eda really saw a lot of herself in Luz. Not to the extreme of her prankster nature or insecurity but still a lot. She's naturally curious, has family problems, and likes Wild Magic.
Amity being upset hurts
I just wanna say Amity sounded so much like Katara in the scene where she runs away
Okay but Amity’s “No” really sounded like Katara
(Yes I know they have the same VA)
That Amity Glasses were intended, after all.
They both made there partners disappear like stage magician
I was thinking this sounded familiar when i first heard it
oh yeah it all coming together
I don't know if Eda didn't want to talk because she thought Riane would leave her because of the course being a problem or because she didn't want to talk about it just like Luz didn't want to talk about her dad.
She didn't want to tell Reign because she was afraid of hurting them just like her father. That's why she distanced herself from those that love her.
their name is spelt raine
It must be run in the found family
just imagine if amity took the wrong glyph from luz and instead grabbed like the plant one... I would have felt very embarrasses but it would also be kinda funny
Yeah yeah it’s like poetry it rhymes we all know
Dana’s got some fucked up shit planned for the rest of the season.
Well. I guess I didn't need my heart in one whole piece
Like mom like daughter
When Amity said "NO." I heard Katara :D
thanks to this it reminds of something wanting to say for days to somebody
first time she was mad at luz since lost in language
"Ahahaha I do that"
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this 😶
Way to establish foils Dana! I’d give you all the thumbs in the world if I could.
Ooh! I think I’ll go to fetch those thumbs! We’re gonna go the daggers first!
Like mother, like daughter. lol
like mom like daughter
Is this show on shrooms? The synchronicities are just too plentiful to say otherwise.
Insert
“Haha. *I* do that” meme
My brain on the first episodes name was thinking of that song lol..^^’
Why is this show so good?
in reaching out i genuinely thought lumity was breaking up
is it just me or does amity sound like a grown ass woman at the end-
not as sad as true colors
I didn’t see this episode and i know i finished it. They must’ve added more?
What's common with eda with cringy kids and slenders and png tubers dream stans father disappear
OH
de madre de hija
Lol.
Are these deleted scenes???
Um no they’re both from the episodes that’s labeled.
@@ArtisticAlly123 what U mean?
@@lightningdude4282 First one is from Season 2, Episode 8.
Second one is from Season 2, Episode 14.
Both are from The Owl House.
And no, they're not deleted scenes. Which is good, because they add so much to their respective episodes. Enjoy them!
@@lightningdude4282 These scenes are from either Knock, Knock, Knockin' On Hooty's Door, where Raine and Eda are talking, or from the episode Reaching Out, with Amity and Luz.
@@lightningdude4282 theyre not deleted scenes... these scenes are from the episode labeled below them..
.
Lol these are 2 completely different scenarios
But they still parallel the same conflict: Luz and Eda not being honest with their respective partners.
Season 3?
No??? S2E8 and S2E14. It literally says Season 2 IN the video
people legit think eda and luz are in the wrong but the truth of the matter is if there was anything real there they would have stayed
Some people love their partners so much that it hurts when the person that they love shuts them out and all they can do is watch their partner self-destruct. Thefore, they have two options, watch helplessly as their partner falls apart (they could the partner could talk about it later, but the person waiting doesn't have any control of the outcome), or they can end the relationship so they could move on from the self-destructive relationship by ending it. Lumity hasn't gotten to that point yet, but who knows how many secrets Eda kept from Raine.
@@otakujin100 in these cases it wasnt the same, eda kept things to herself and tried her damnedest to not let any of the fallout effect raine , if that cutscene is blow for blow what happened she left eda in her time of need knowing shes suffering, if someone you love is hurting you stand by them the best you can otherwise you'll become another piece of their pain, saving yourself whatever anguish you would have gone through, to me that sounds selfish and shows you cared about yourself more then them, and thats not love, not to say you shouldn't care about yourself of course
@@ReapersLove69 first of all, I hope I understand this properly, are you using female pronouns for Raine? Raine is non-binary, which means the proper pronouns are they/them, also being there is all well and good, but that's not enough to fix a problem, it either slows it down or at best stops it. However, it doesn't fix it, and the partner can't help unless the one suffering asks for help. Also we saw in reaching out that bottling up your problems can result in imparting judgment, which could make the partner suffer due your desperate attempt to not trouble the partner with your problem (Luz and the abomaton is a perfect example). If this doesn't convince you then can we at least split the difference and say that both Eda and Raine made mistakes that destroyed the relationship (don't get me started about how Raine is repeating Eda's mistake of barring the burden themself and keeping the romantic interest in the dark).
@@ReapersLove69 No, none of that is true. It would be toxic if they did that. The best thing Raine could do was leave Eda, Eda wouldn’t let them help and the constant lying was hurting them. It doesn’t matter if they were trying to “protect” Raine or not, they deserve the choice.
@@otakujin100 i never stated eda was entirely in the right, but what they did was subject to their own pain always placing raine ahead of that, what raine did was for herself
raine and eda better get back together by the end of TOH
you can just say them, lol, not he/she/they. No intelligent person gets offended by referring to them as them irl, even, and this is a cartoon.
Lesbian propaganda.
